16/07/2025: The owners are always kind and polite. Even when the place is busy, the service is fast. The Spritz and Montepulciano are really good. The aperitivo includes appetizers. Excellent value for money. The place is easy to get to, with plenty of tables, comfortable chairs, and ample parking. I always enjoy it, so much so that I even go there for breakfast. I recommend it!

08/08/2025: We found this place for an evening meal. It's very quaint and has a homey atmosphere. The owner is helpful and very friendly. We had a great time and will definitely return on our next vacation in the area. It's very quiet and the meat is good. Gluten-free options are also available. The wait is a bit long, but you can tell the meat is cooked to order and not reheated. 🙂

16/11/2025: Il Cantiere is a welcoming and vibrant little place. It's not very large, but it's warm and homey. The street and urban-style furnishings, mostly made from recycled materials, give it a youthful and light-hearted feel, typical of a contemporary art venue. The service is attentive and courteous. You can enjoy a delicious platter of cured meats or veggies, crostini, and various fried foods, accompanied by a good glass of wine, a beer, or another drink. The products offered are excellent, and the fried sage is a must-try. They also actively organize interesting musical evenings and cultural events aimed at promoting art and creativity. They also host language tandems to foster cross-cultural exchange. In short, a very stimulating atmosphere, yet with a lighthearted and original touch. I highly recommend it for a different kind of evening.

This morning, that same wave of judgments and criticisms was directed at the large shopping center not far from the same bar, plus judgments about the people who work there. 🙏It wasn't a dialogue, 🙏rather, a fiery monologue, alive with anger and resentment towards a place that has provided work to thousands of people for 20 years. That burning fire was words used as fuel, mortifying my person, my boundless living space (speaking face to face, without maintaining a safe distance). My dear 2 brothers 🙏 what is a customer to you? Many people know how to make a cappuccino these days, and many know how to bring it to the table. You talked to me about politics. I've chosen not to watch TV or buy newspapers for 10 years. Why talk to me about politics? But above all, what's the fault of a large shopping center that holds fast to the idea of ​​continuous change and renewal, providing work to entire families for a long time now. (And I continue to wish for work forever). 22/11/2025: The pizzeria is undoubtedly well stocked with flavours, but with the 12 euro menu ours were visibly taken by the counter, the four cheeses then with the melted slice of cheese was the first time I saw it😂 the place is really big but noisy like few others, not to mention the cold.. I do not deny that it was necessary to wear a jacket to reach an average body temperature... not enough experience I would say

I don't need to talk about the food—obviously, I like it, otherwise I wouldn't be coming here so often—but I'd give the staff ten stars. The girls are friendly and approachable, yet professional, patient, and kind! The best staff in Ortona, hands down!

15/08/2025: We spent August 15th in this truly magnificent place... peace... tranquility and a truly beautiful artificial lake... the food is excellent, the staff are kind and helpful... there is also an area equipped for barbecues, we will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality

11/11/2025: On November 1st and 2nd, 2025, I took a group of 24 people, half of whom also stayed on Friday. The facility was dated, but the rooms were warm and clean. Having booked half board, we were fortunate enough to sample authentic and plentiful cuisine. The group was happy, and we'll be back.

I asked later where the prices were displayed, and they were between the entrance door and the drinks refrigerator, barely visible. Perhaps it's no coincidence that it's out of sight, given the prices.

20/07/2025: Posto veramente suggestivo e romantico, ideale per una cena di coppia. Menù fisso 70€ a persona con varie portate, buone ma non indimenticabili. Sicuramente non ci si alza da tavola con la fame. Piccolo appunto sulle canocchie, sempre servite non pulite, difficili da aprire e mangiare. Personale veloce e cortese.
