10/08/2024: After last year's pleasant and positive experience, we once again chose the Cercone hotel as our holiday destination, to stay there from 07/21/'24 to 07/26/'24. Kindness, Professionalism and Availability are distinctive of the care that Mr. Eriberto, Maria, Riccardo, Patrizia, Valeria and all the rest of the staff put in place, to ensure that every customer feels at home. We will definitely return, even for a short rest. We highly recommend it.

04/08/2024: Well set up and organized hotel. The swimming pool is nice and comfortable and can be used free of charge by guests. Friendly and helpful staff throughout, especially the girl Maria certainly remains impressed by her extreme cheerfulness, friendliness and beautiful presence.

07/08/2024: Exquisite dishes in a charming atmosphere. The service was also impeccable. Highly recommended (especially the tonnarelli asparagus and bacon!)

28/07/2024: We really liked the lido, large fine sand with different types of umbrellas, central walkway, excellent management and then the bar, a little old in structure but well stocked, they make excellent granitas, there is also a restaurant where you eat very well, little choice but the products they are good the service is quite fast The girls are very good if I were to return I would gladly come to eat here thank you very much for the evening

12/08/2024: Chalet sul mare incantevole (bellissima la terrazza rialzata sulla spiaggia)...consigliatissimo l'apericena davvero completo e buonissimo, e la serata arrosticini del giovedì...punto di forza anche la gentilezza e la professionalità dello staff, in particolare di Alessio, giovanissimo ma già brillante, cordiale e sorridente...in molti nel mondo della ristorazione e del turismo dovrebbero imparare da questi ragazzi.

07/08/2024: Stabilimento balneare ben attrezzato, (mai visto ombrelloni così distanziati tra loro) con ristorante annesso. Luogo perfetto per ogni occasione dalla colazione all'apericena, con vista mozzafiato sul mare, musica soft a pranzo e ben selezionata durante la giornata mentre ti crogioli al sole. Il menù principalmente di pesce, ottimi i primi serviti con abbondanza ( Giuseppe lo chef, ogni volta ci stupisce). Dallo staff giovane e molto gentile hai tutte le attenzioni. UMA è una tappa obbligatoria perché si sta divinamente bene, qui è vacanza...

08/06/2024: I ate the cod-based menu on Friday. Good appetizers, but in the pasta you had to look for the cod with the lantern, there was very little of it, but when you found it I must say it was good. The cod with potatoes and the one with tomato are appreciable and tasty.

30/06/2024: Very nice new place, overall good food (spaghetti with clams very very good!). The absence of a written menu (paper or digital) makes ordering complex, especially if the staff who are unclear in their explanations do not help to simplify this operation. Average prices for the type of meal.

02/06/2024: We went as a family: 6 adults, 1 little girl and 1 1 year old boy. Ordered after over 30 minutes! Menu expressed verbally so I couldn't say how much I would have paid. In two hours I only ate the appetizers (a cold plate with 9 different dishes and 2 hot ones to share in the center). Arrived very late and even between the first course and the second, centuries passed! My sister with her small child only ate the cold ones and obviously had to leave considering the waiting times! When I left I personally reported that they would have to remove both the first and second orders ordered by my sister from the order! The little food I was able to try was good. I obviously asked several times when we would be eating etc and the waitress was the only positive note as she remained kind and helpful despite the nervousness! They brought us an additional plate of hot appetizer for the wait given the number of people (less than 80 on sight)! The thing I least appreciated was that the waitress had to suffer the altered tones of the table and that none of the owners (or owner) came out in more than two hours! I asked the waitress to also remove my second course from the order because I was leaving. Of the two first courses in the center I only tasted one as I was leaving. The owner obviously leaves when the bill arrives. When my father paid, he found himself charged for all orders, including those canceled and not consumed! The worst place I've been to eat recently! I already had other people with similar stories but we still wanted to try! We won't be back again. I personally would not recommend it, in fact... you can have a bad day but with the owner completely disinterested in what happened and a bill paid for a meal not consumed due to a delay that wasn't mine, I recommend other places where something can go wrong but with a different attitude!

02/09/2024: The typicality of the old "Madonnina" no longer exists. Dear Mr. Nicandro, your lineage is not up to your standards. About thirty years ago I came on holiday to Pescasseroli every summer for all of my son's first 6 years and this restaurant owned by Mr. Nicandro had always been our favourite, a real must. As an amarcord, my wife and I decided today to return to the legendary Mr. Nicandro and his typical cuisine, and for this reason we booked a hotel this weekend. We enter to review the interior and the table where we can sit and a 50-year-old lady who was charging a customer stops us in a rude manner to tell us in an inelegant way that we could not continue. We stop and the lady reluctantly tells us that she would go to see if there was a free table, but not before having placed a divider to prevent any possible access beyond the cash counter and I perceive that they have evidently previously suffered unpleasant furtive compartmentalizations on the part of someone, but certainly the gesture regardless of whoever is in front of it certainly does not appear professional. If necessary there are more professional logistical solutions, even more so since the venue has been completely renovated. I was pleased to point out to her that I had already been coming here 30 years ago, but to my involvement of affection for the legendary place in telling her that everything has changed I bitterly objected that if everything hadn't changed after 30 years she might as well throw away the keys to the restaurant. . At that point I replied that not always when restaurants are renovated and/or enlarged they always remain the same and that, given her declared arrogance, I would have gladly agreed with her but only at the end of lunch. The rude woman's response was one of the inappropriately self-referential ones: "I'm always right, I already know it, I don't need to know it from customers, because the saying that customers are always right doesn't exist here......" The only positive aspect of the whole lunch was at the end when, before leaving, I was able to see the legendary Mr. Nicandro again and say goodbye to him with real pleasure. But the only isolated pleasure. Silly chitarrine pasta with truffle (look at the mess that has formed in the photo), the waiter who bumped into my wife's chair every time he passed asked us if we wanted parmesan for the pasta, we told him yes and he amateurishly threw a sachet of the same on the table size of those of sugar for coffee at the bar, which I invite you to see in the other photo. But where did the typical and welcoming restaurant of the legendary Mr. Nicandro end up??? The lamb was simply normal but his usual one was neither simple nor normal but was rather special, deserving of a trip from Rome. The terrible welcome and the ignorance shown by that 50-year-old lady (I didn't understand if she is the daughter or daughter-in-law of the owner Mr. Nicandro) made us cancel the Madonnina from our restaurants. There's really no reason to go there anymore. Not recommended.

31/08/2024: Have a nice dinner. Tasted polenta and sausage and kebabs. Place on the Marsicana road, no car park available except for a few places to share with the other restaurant, the old inn. The room inside has many stairs and is therefore difficult for those in need. However, the kindness of the manager should be mentioned.

31/08/2024: The environment is beautiful and relaxing. I had already been there other times and returned home satisfied. The last time however both the service and the food were very disappointing. Terrible roasts, badly cooked, all burnt on the tips, hard... Decent sausages (on other occasions I had ordered them and they were different in terms of cut of meat and more homemade in taste). I had asked for a mixed salad with tomato... and I received a mixed only green one... There were perhaps 4 tables present for lunch and the waiting times were too long. Price paid? For 1 bruschetta 10 roasts 2 sausages 1 green salad 1 liter water... Total 27 euros... (this time just throw that money away). Too bad... bad day...

29/08/2024: The professionalism and authenticity of the place, a wonderful place, excellent cuisine, sagne and chickpeas to be absolutely enjoyed, meat a la bracce, very good and tasty The owners are incredibly kind and have a very nice swimming pool to recommend ❤️

12/08/2024: I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Villa Elena pizzeria restaurant and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience! The pizza is without a doubt the best I have ever tasted. The pasta was light and crispy, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that combined perfectly. But it's not just the food that makes Villa Elena special. The location is simply enchanting: a welcoming and well-furnished environment, surrounded by a warm and familiar atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, making the service impeccable. I highly recommend visiting Villa Elena if you are looking for an evening of good food and a dream location. I will definitely be back to enjoy that amazing pizza again!
