24/08/2025: The food was delicious, the place was beautiful, everything was OK except for one small mishap. When I approached the entrance to pay, I simply asked a waitress where to pay... she gave me an ignorant look, telling me, "Wait, can't you see I'm in a mess?" I'd say it wasn't very elegant, but it doesn't matter, the place deserves a solid 10.

23/08/2025: The venue is very charming, well-organized, and meticulously maintained. The interior is divided into several small rooms, all clean and tidy, and there's also a lovely outdoor area with a pergola, where we dined. Upon our arrival, seeing as it was raining and windy, we asked if we could sit inside. We were told that everything was full and that if we wanted to stay, we could only dine outside. Once I went to the restroom, however, I noticed an indoor room already set up for a group of about thirty people who would be arriving later. Around the table set up for the event were several other empty and unset tables, which could easily have been made available to guests already present. I understand the need to reserve a room for a party, but in this case, it wasn't truly an exclusive space: it was, in fact, a passageway to the restrooms, so it was anything but private. Not offering those seats meant forcing other customers, like us, to eat outside in the cold, while there was room available inside. The pizzas were good, but the quality was excellent. The service, however, could be improved: for example, the fries were served on a large platter, but without individual plates or accompanying sauces, making the experience a bit uncomfortable. A real shame, because the place has great potential and is welcoming and well-maintained, but the space management and some of the service issues somewhat detracted from the experience.

08/06/2025: We used to go to Lanciano more often, now rarely, but it has remained a point of reference. The pizza is good, the prices are average and the service is a bit confusing.

30/06/2025: Every time I can I go to Black for an aperitif. The bar has an excellent selection of wines from classic to biodynamic ones that are accompanied by tasty snacks that speak of the territory. Really good, I highly recommend them also for the artisanal ice cream.

13/04/2025: The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, the place is clean and tidy, well done. I don't like the choice of beers but this is my personal taste, prices are too high, 7 euros a pint of beer in a hilltop village is too much. The pizza... so, so, also too expensive, too greasy with oil and not very Neapolitan. In any case, if I were to return to the area I would go back, it's still a pub and pubs should always be frequented.

17/07/2025: My partner and I went to eat to celebrate a proposal. My fiancé had called during the day to ask for a nice table for the occasion. When we arrived, however, nothing had been prepared; no tables had been specially set. We ate next to noisy tables and didn't even receive a congratulations from them. The meal was good, but we were very disappointed with the restaurant.

01/09/2025: A very good restaurant. We discovered it by chance and have been going here for years. The food is very good, with plenty of seafood, as well as meat and vegetarian options. However, it's very busy, so you have to make a reservation.

04/09/2025: Only one thing speaks for itself: awful! Pan-fried anchovies with garlic, oil, and vinegar were actually boiled and lacking in character. For personal reasons, I can't eat tomato seeds and peels. The table service staff, without even checking with the kitchen, assured me they'd used industrial-strength purée in the fish soup I'd chosen. When the dish arrived, it was very obvious they'd used peeled or fresh tomatoes (which might be better, but unfortunately, they're not for me). A thousand apologies, which I accept. A mix-up can happen. I switched to chitarrine bianche alla marinara: I received boiled pasta with flavorless, probably frozen, fish sprinkled on top. No creaming, but instead, there was a tiny bit of water at the bottom of the plate. Garlic, oil, and parsley were nonexistent. Something tasteless, made on the fly, and even poorly. Literally unpresentable. This job takes love and passion, regardless of whether you're a regular or occasional customer. The service was up to par with the food. It's a shame because the seaside restaurant is very nice, but the professionalism is something else!

02/08/2025: È un ristorante con poche pretese, la materia prima (il pesce) risulta insipida. Abbiamo preso un mix di antipasti ed un primo. Il mix di antipasti è il solito mix con alici, calamari, sardine ma tutte in piccole quantità e senza sapore. I primi si presentano più saporiti ma comunque il pesce rimane insapore.Il Personale è molto gentile e cordiale.

30/07/2025: Ottimo sia per consumare sul posto sia per l’asporto. Prezzo interessante. Ottimi gli antipasti misti freddi e caldi e ok la frittura mista
