After a day in the mountains, we stopped here for lunch. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were very friendly.

I stayed at this property for two nights with my musicians and found it to be an excellent base for our commitments in the area. My room was simple and spartan, but clean and equipped with the essentials (wardrobe, dressing table with chair, and TV). It faced the back, onto a retaining wall, and the bathroom, while functional, was very small, lacking a bidet and with an internal door that left little room for movement. There were some issues with the water: a very strong jet when turning on the faucets and flushing, and a long wait for hot water. I slept well thanks to the comfortable mattress, although the location along the road and near a curve means that early in the morning the many motorcyclists who enjoy the Abruzzo mountain roads can be quite noisy. On the other hand, the breakfast was excellent: homemade ring cakes, pancakes, and tarts, croissants with a wide selection of homemade or packaged jams. The outdoor area is also very pleasant, ideal for relaxing. Another plus is certainly the helpfulness and kindness of the managers and staff, always attentive and welcoming. Overall, a practical accommodation, with strengths in the breakfast and outdoor spaces, but some areas could be improved regarding the comfort of the rooms.

They're incredibly kind, and the owner cooks: the matriciana is exceptional, not to mention the ravioli with meat sauce. In the morning for breakfast, they give you mini cream bombettes...one leads to another. I highly recommend it.

We're climbers from Gran Sasso and prefer to come down here rather than linger in the chaos of Prati di Tivo. If we arrive even before opening (I always leave for Rimini), they still try to get us a meal, and what a dinner!!! Yesterday, an exceptional dish of mutton, vegetables, and wine for only €15. Always kind and smiling, and the restaurant is above the cool of a stream bed in the middle of the woods. Thank you, always!
