20/04/2026: Perhaps it's because places where you feel welcomed with kindness and thoughtfulness predispose you to judge positively, or perhaps the discreet yet diligent presence of Carmine and his daughters is a significant plus, but the extraordinary pizza dough, the masterpiece of fried zucchini, the deliciousness of the fried pizza strips with white chocolate ensure that my wife, son, and I, every time we think of going to a pizzeria, never manage to deviate from the road that leads to Atripalda at Carmine Ragno.

01/05/2026: A real surprise... but above all, a huge added value for the area! At Osteria dei Briganti, we found top-quality local cuisine, authentic flavors, and impeccable service thanks to the attention and passion of Mario and Maurizio, who truly make every customer feel special.
The appetizers were simply fantastic: rich, carefully prepared, and full of authentic flavors. And the first courses... even if you think you're not hungry anymore, they are so special you absolutely can't resist trying them!
The second courses are exceptional: from the fillet to the tagliata to the lamb, everything cooked to perfection and truly delicious.
Thank you so much for this unique and exceptional experience. We will definitely be back!

11/05/2026: When choosing a restaurant, I always try to highlight its positive aspects and rarely leave negative reviews, but this time the experience was disappointing in several respects.
The welcome was rather cold: no greeting at the entrance, nor any particular attention to the customer. When ordering, we asked for bottled mineral water, but were told that only tap water was available. After specifying that we didn't want it, we were nevertheless served a bottle of sparkling water on tap, which was then replaced with still water upon our request.
The first courses were well prepared, although the portions seemed rather small. We then ordered two main courses, one tuna and one swordfish. The waiter said the swordfish was sold out, so the order was changed to two tuna main courses, but only one arrived. After pointing this out, we were told that the order was for only one dish, and we had to wait a little longer for the second course.
The most unpleasant part came with the bill: several prices were higher than those displayed on the online menu when ordering: first courses were 12 euros each (10 on the online menu), second courses 15 euros (12 on the online menu), and wine 7 (6 on the menu). So, 2x2 + 3x2 + 1 = 11 euros more!!!!!! When we pointed this out at the cashier, they told us the menu hadn't been updated yet. I understand that organizational issues can arise, but the customer should be informed before ordering, not at checkout.
It's a shame, because the bread was good and the dishes weren't bad, but overall the experience was negative, and I don't think we'll be back.

24/04/2026: I've been here twice for a graduation party and a confirmation. Always attentive service and a top-notch seafood menu.
03/02/2026: Super fresh fish, but far from the sea.
Sometimes it takes very little to find excellent quality seafood, without necessarily eating in a seaside location. This is the case at the Ddoie Aulive restaurant, which, by an oxymoron in its name, promises a meat-based menu, but in reality, seafood is the main focus.
Located near the Martiri neighborhood, the location isn't overly spartan, but rather geared toward a classy atmosphere. The house appetizer is a riot of flavors: the shrimp peeled themselves, oysters, prawns, and excellent bruschetta with anchovies: all of the highest quality.
Moving on to the first courses, ravioli stuffed with scallops and exceptional prawns. The only thing that didn't convince me was the sea bream, but that was my personal preference.
The selection of vintage prosecco is also good.
Highly recommended.

13/05/2026: We were guests of a colleague of my husband's. We're not from the area, so I wasn't familiar with this Osteria. We appreciated the family-friendly, authentic atmosphere and the excellent food. Traditional dishes expertly prepared, perfect. The meatballs were spectacular, like freshly made ones, and the fried foods and appetizers were light and not greasy. The pasta was delicious; I recommend the ricotta and walnut ravioli with a sprinkling of truffle, a real treat. The sliced steak was incredibly tender, and so was the dessert... I'm very particular about that because it's my specialty. The pastry shop where they get their supplies must have used excellent ingredients, because it seemed homemade. You could taste the creamy, natural texture, without the use of powdered ingredients, and it was so light. Congratulations. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back with friends.

07/04/2026: Excellent Easter Monday lunch in Forino
I went to **La Vecchia Casa** for Easter Monday lunch in 2026 and had a very positive experience. Despite the holiday and the packed restaurant, the service was impeccable: the **staff is truly kind** and approachable, they know how to make you feel at ease without too much unnecessary formality.
Moving on to the food, you can taste the quality ingredients behind every dish. We started with the **Mallone**, a classic that they prepare to perfection here: flavorful, balanced, and beautifully presented, combining local tradition with a more refined touch. You can tell they know how to handle local recipes.
The highlight of the meal was the **deconstructed tiramisu**. The idea of serving it with pieces of the moka pot and ladyfingers on the side was very original: besides being fun to assemble, the cream was very fresh and light. It's not your usual "thrown in" dessert, but you can see the thought behind it.
Another strong point is the wine cellar. It's truly well-stocked, with a remarkable selection of labels that allows you to enjoy good drinks at reasonable prices. Ultimately, a place where substance matters more than appearance, ideal for those seeking good Irpinian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. The quality-price ratio is excellent. I'll gladly return.
19/03/2026: I've had the pleasure of dining at La Vecchia Casa several times, and every experience has always lived up to expectations. The quality of the dishes is consistent: fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and evident care in preparation.
The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a social gathering. The service is also distinguished by its friendliness and attentiveness, without being intrusive.
It's one of those places you can always count on: when you want to eat well and be sure of a good meal.

They recommend local produce without pushing you too far. What can I say? Excellent overall, and oh yes, the price is also great! I can only recommend it! It's right in the historic center, you can't go wrong!

05/04/2026: Kresios isn't just a Michelin-starred restaurant: it's an experience conceived with rigor, intelligence, and a strong personal vision. You don't go to Giuseppe Iannotti just to eat well, but to immerse yourself in an unconventional gastronomic tale, crafted with almost engineering-like precision and a rare sensitivity in transforming ingredients into ideas.
Special mention goes to the spaghetti allo scoglio, which alone is worth the trip. It's not the classic seafood dish you might expect: it's a simple, concentrated, almost "distilled" version of seafood. The sea hits the palate directly, deeply, and clearly, with extraordinary intensity yet without heaviness. It's a dish that achieves something rare: being simultaneously sophisticated and immediate.
The service, pace, and overall experience live up to the restaurant's reputation: everything contributes to the feeling of being in a unique place, where nothing is left to chance.
Kresios is one of those places you never forget: authentic, bold, and distinctive signature cuisine.
15/02/2026: We purchased a gift card for this Michelin-starred restaurant, paying the full price for the tasting menu, just like any other customer.
When we booked, however, we discovered that gift card holders are not allowed to book on Sundays, while the website states that standard reservations are available from Monday to Sunday without any restrictions.
This restriction wasn't clearly stated at the time of purchase. If it had been, we would never have purchased the gift card: we would have simply booked and paid for the dinner as usual.
This isn't a promotion or a discount. The price is identical. Yet the treatment is different. A real injustice.
When we requested a refund, citing a lack of transparency, we were (naturally) told that "something can be agreed upon." A perplexing response: previously, Sundays weren't allowed for gift card holders, but now suddenly it's negotiable.
A restaurant of this caliber should stand out for its fairness, clarity, and consistency, not for policies that change after the payment has been made.
At the moment, we don't even know if we'll be taking the tasting tour, because the experience has already been compromised before it even begins. This review, in fact, isn't about the food—which we haven't tried yet—but exclusively about the management and transparency towards those who purchase a gift card.
I urge anyone considering purchasing a gift card to carefully read the actual terms and conditions.
