05/04/2026: High-quality local food, cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and fair prices. A sure thing!

03/04/2026: Probably one of the best restaurant experiences we've had. This one is located in the mountains above Tropea. The antipasti offered a wide variety of local products. The pasta was simple but perfectly cooked, and the sauce was delicious. The meat selection was generous and cooked to perfection. We loved the attentive service. They took the time to offer helpful advice, and the servers always made sure everything was going smoothly during our meal. The price was so reasonable considering the quantity and quality. In my opinion, if you're vacationing in Tropea with a car, avoid the touristy restaurants (expensive and not good) and come to this restaurant!

15/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. I'm a regular customer. Always satisfied. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a table tonight. Next time, I'll book in advance.

23/10/2025: There were six of us, and we ordered different dishes: some pasta, some pizza, and a cured meats appetizer for everyone. We were very happy, we really had a great time. Highly recommended.

17/01/2026: We went to this place for lunch and what can I say, everything was delicious, then the owners Gianni and Mrs. Clementina, exceptional kind people who know how to do their job, they put their heart into it, thank you, highly recommended

18/12/2025: I'd been there 21 years ago, and it was already an institution! A "family-like" atmosphere, informal, and pleasant. Typical, homemade food, a location that gives you the feeling of eating at home, with your grandparents... The owner, a descendant of generations of restaurateurs, is always attentive to his customers: he talks about the hospitality his grandparents gave him, and he's a friendly host who also enjoys sampling tradition. If you're visiting the area (the Mileto Museum has numerous interesting artifacts and unique pieces!), I highly recommend stopping by!

05/04/2026: The food was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente, and the swordfish was cooked to perfection. The dessert was also very tasty. However, I have to deduct points for the staff. While the waiter was friendly, he disappeared after dessert. We went to the checkout without being offered coffee or a digestif. And I found the robot waiter somewhat out of place in that setting.

11/04/2026: The lady was very kind, the food was plentiful and delicious! The price was right, go there!!!

07/04/2026: Found it by chance on Easter Monday, and as soon as you enter it's like being transported to a fairytale land! They have all the best qualities a place like this could have, the owners are incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive to all their customers. The grill and meat counter are open to view. Dishes that take you back in time, prepared with meticulous care, and a rich menu that lets you explore as much as you want! The bill was perfectly in line with what we ate, very fair! The hour-long drive from Bagnara was definitely worth it. Keep it up, you're fantastic!

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!
