Excellent presentation, all dishes carefully prepared, good selection of wines to accompany the dishes. One small flaw: the time between courses was too short (for me).
A very interesting experience, definitely worth repeating.

02/02/2026: I've had the pleasure of dining at San Gregorio on several occasions: to celebrate my graduation, for "normal" lunches and dinners, and even for a private party, and each time the experience has been excellent.
The staff is incredibly professional, always smiling and attentive to making every guest feel at ease. Special thanks go to Valentina, who, with her impeccable organization and attention to detail, manages everything smoothly and stress-free, handling every request with great availability.
San Gregorio isn't just a place to eat well, but a place where you feel truly welcomed. The warm atmosphere, attentive service, and attention to detail make this restaurant a safe choice for any occasion, from quiet dinners to more important celebrations.

19/05/2026: A year later, I chose to return to the Fischetti family to indulge in their delicious dishes, crafted with simple Irpinia ingredients, which they know how to bring to the highest level.
Not to mention the wine pairings served during the tasting, and for those who can't or don't want to drink alcohol, the sommelier offers excellent non-alcoholic beverages.
Last year, we hosted a table of about twenty people, and the service was impeccable.
The venue has a very relaxed feel, with soft lighting, candles, and fresh flowers.
I highly recommend it for any event, whether special or otherwise, you'd like to organize.

14/03/2026: The Montanarina pizza bread was amazing — lightly deep-fried with a crispy outside and soft inside. The combination of stracciata, mortadella, and pistachio was incredibly delicious. My Panico burger was very juicy and fresh. They also have a really cute outdoor seating area with heaters, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic meal! 😋

The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated—perfect for a relaxed and memorable meal.
I had the mushroom pasta, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced—cooked to just the right firmness, not overly saucy, yet every strand of pasta was coated in rich, deep flavor. Paired with a local red wine, it was unforgettable. I’m pretty sure I’ll be dreaming about that dish for the rest of my life.
I would love to come back again someday. Highly recommend!

The ingredients and the way they're displayed are admirable: you eat very well in this restaurant, and you feel very welcome. The staff are professional, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and every dish is an experience. It's a place I love and I highly recommend it.

31/05/2026: A location surrounded by greenery: I went for dinner and found it particularly charming, with the lights and the river flowing below. This restaurant serves specially prepared delicacies, some more sophisticated, showcasing each individual ingredient. Appetizers, first courses, and second courses: everything is truly delicious. Given the formality of the dining room and the friendly staff, it's also ideal for an elegant dinner. A special mention goes to their egg tagliolini, which are perhaps the best we've ever had. Prices are medium-high for a restaurant in a small provincial town, but given the high quality, it's definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.

It has several outdoor tables overlooking the river and a spacious indoor dining room. The menu isn't extensive and features mostly local cuisine. The quality is excellent, with top-quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. The staff is discreet but friendly and helpful. Prices are slightly higher than average. Worth a try.

10/05/2026: An exceptional osteria in Calitri, very popular with locals. And for good reason, because the cuisine is excellent, traditional, just like grandma's. The atmosphere is friendly and popular, with very professional owners and staff.
You absolutely must try the cannazzi or cingul al ragù, the house specialties. The lamb cacciatore is phenomenal. The desserts, such as the ricotta cake and tiramisu, are excellent.
The price/quality ratio is excellent.
Highly recommended.
