15/03/2026: We visited in mid-March, on a Sunday for lunch in the enchanting San Miniato. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, with large windows overlooking the splendid valley. The wait staff is fabulous, attentive to every need, always kind and professional. It's really hard to express anything about the dishes because they were all so good, with well-defined yet delicate flavors that combined to create a symphony that is hard to forget.
High-quality, seasonal ingredients that showcase the local produce. We tried the land tasting, and our 13-year-old daughter was won over by the bottega with dried tomatoes and guinea fowl, duck, and rabbit ragù. Finally, the chef, a wonderful person with kindness in his eyes, was a pleasure to thank for the wonderful lunch. I recommend going, even more than once, to explore the various menus.
It's a place that exudes simple, elegant cordiality.
15/03/2026: I had higher expectations, good food but not very good... too delicate... delicate is fine but the flavors must be felt and recognized... good lunch but not to be repeated... shame

25/11/2025: A wonderful experience. The venue is beautifully decorated, welcoming, and quiet. The staff is highly qualified, kind, and attentive. The food is an explosion of flavors. The tartare is beautiful and abundant, prepared in front of you—a unique experience. Then there's the tagliolini with white truffle, truly superb. They even gave us complimentary pieces of hazelnut nougat and a chocolate biscuit. The price is right for those looking for a special evening.

10/01/2026: We spent a few days in Pistoia for the Christmas holidays, and on the evening of January 1st, craving a nice Florentine steak, we stumbled upon this typical trattoria. They offer a fixed-price menu, which I recommend, which includes mixed appetizers, a Florentine steak of a weight appropriate for the number of guests, three side dishes, and a dessert. Drinks are not included. The owner, like the staff, is incredibly welcoming. You can tell they really care about explaining the quality and provenance of the meat. Oh! By the way, aside from appetizers and side dishes: THEY ONLY EAT MEAT! It's a real steakhouse; they don't do first courses, they don't do fish... What a steak, folks! Served on piping hot plates so it doesn't get cold, and cut at the table by the owner himself. The only flaw: they served us French meat. Good, tender, but not the most flavorful. I would have preferred local meat. Anyway, I recommend it. It's worth it.
06/01/2026: This traditional Tuscan restaurant is located on Via Sant'Andrea in Pistoia, in a beautiful medieval building restored with exposed brick and stone. Enjoy fabulous grilled meats and traditional dishes with tasty crostini, excellent cured meats, side dishes, and appetizers, accompanied by a wide selection of white and red wines. The owners, with great professionalism and kindness, recommend these wines, turning a simple dinner into a truly exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and fantastic for photographs. Excellent in every way! The food, wines, hospitality, and sophistication. Recommended restaurant!

12/04/2026: I had the opportunity to choose from several vegetarian and vegan options for lunch, a fairly rare occurrence in Tuscany. Everything was tasty and delicious, from appetizers to dessert.
The restaurant is divided into two rooms, one more rustic and historic, and one more modern. I recommend the historic one.
I felt like the staff was all female, and they were all very kind and helpful.
If I were to return to Pistoia, I'd definitely eat there again.
08/02/2026: Highly recommended. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere right in the center of Pistoia. Unique dishes, all delicious and tasty, to please every palate, made with top-quality ingredients. Compliments to the entire staff, very professional: the chef was excellent and the girl who served us was super kind and friendly. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!

The "Iposonic" menu, a journey into the mind of chef Marco Cahssai
We went for dinner and did the full menu: the Iposonic menu with wine and beverage pairings. It's not your average gourmet dinner; it's truly in a whole other league.
Why it's worth it:
Outstanding quality: Every ingredient is treated with incredible technique. There's nothing banal, not even the cauliflower at the beginning.
The pairing is the real gem: They don't just bring you wine. Finding black tea or craft beer paired with the right dishes completely changes your perception of taste.
Total experience: The location is incredible, but what stays with you is the flavor. The risotto with cuttlefish and taralli and the tongue with 2008 Riesling were the highlights of the evening.
Perfect balance: The flavors move from the punch of the artichoke over the coals to the final freshness of the beetroot and pomegranate without ever losing their edge.
In short: If you want a high-end experience, where technique serves to enhance the flavor rather than hide it, Atman is the place to be. The highest quality and service allow you to enjoy the evening without too many frills.

26/01/2026: Nice, well-maintained restaurant. The meat is freshly cut at the adjoining butcher's shop. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I stumbled upon it by accident, but I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

16/02/2026: Excellent. A secluded, quiet, and green farmhouse with an excellent restaurant. We had a set lunch menu, all made with top-quality ingredients that never left you hungry. There's also the option of staying overnight and purchasing homemade food.
Well worth a visit.

An excellent selection of wines and delicious house liqueurs and amari!
