15/03/2026: We visited in mid-March, on a Sunday for lunch in the enchanting San Miniato. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, with large windows overlooking the splendid valley. The wait staff is fabulous, attentive to every need, always kind and professional. It's really hard to express anything about the dishes because they were all so good, with well-defined yet delicate flavors that combined to create a symphony that is hard to forget.
High-quality, seasonal ingredients that showcase the local produce. We tried the land tasting, and our 13-year-old daughter was won over by the bottega with dried tomatoes and guinea fowl, duck, and rabbit ragù. Finally, the chef, a wonderful person with kindness in his eyes, was a pleasure to thank for the wonderful lunch. I recommend going, even more than once, to explore the various menus.
It's a place that exudes simple, elegant cordiality.

You don't just come here to eat: you're welcomed, pampered, and guided into something deeper.
Everything was delicious—the dishes were carefully crafted, the flavors authentic, and the quality top-notch—but the real difference lies in the soul of the place. You can feel the passion, attention, and a rare sense of home.
A special thanks to Signora Luciana for her regal hospitality: elegant, warm, and never predictable. She makes you feel like a guest, not a customer.

17/05/2026: Five of us went to this Tuscan steakhouse and had a wonderful time. We ate really well, from the appetizer to the dessert of biscotti and Vin Santo. The meat was excellent, the wine list was well-stocked, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Everything was truly excellent; we'll definitely be back!
17/05/2026: Exquisite, tender bistecca, no menu, no questions asked – except when it comes to wine. Just one option with some vegetables. A dream! Friendly staff and the two owners, always smiling, right in the middle of it all.

12/04/2026: I had the opportunity to choose from several vegetarian and vegan options for lunch, a fairly rare occurrence in Tuscany. Everything was tasty and delicious, from appetizers to dessert.
The restaurant is divided into two rooms, one more rustic and historic, and one more modern. I recommend the historic one.
I felt like the staff was all female, and they were all very kind and helpful.
If I were to return to Pistoia, I'd definitely eat there again.

31/05/2026: Excellent lunch in terms of quality, quantity, and service. We've been there many times and it's never disappointed. The setting is also superb, in the heart of the Svizzera Pesciatina. Highly recommended!
We've been back, and I can confirm everything above!
25/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Sandrino's. The set menu included a porcini mushroom first course, a hare first course, followed by wild boar stew with olives and steak. Everything was wonderful.

The "Iposonic" menu, a journey into the mind of chef Marco Cahssai
We went for dinner and did the full menu: the Iposonic menu with wine and beverage pairings. It's not your average gourmet dinner; it's truly in a whole other league.
Why it's worth it:
Outstanding quality: Every ingredient is treated with incredible technique. There's nothing banal, not even the cauliflower at the beginning.
The pairing is the real gem: They don't just bring you wine. Finding black tea or craft beer paired with the right dishes completely changes your perception of taste.
Total experience: The location is incredible, but what stays with you is the flavor. The risotto with cuttlefish and taralli and the tongue with 2008 Riesling were the highlights of the evening.
Perfect balance: The flavors move from the punch of the artichoke over the coals to the final freshness of the beetroot and pomegranate without ever losing their edge.
In short: If you want a high-end experience, where technique serves to enhance the flavor rather than hide it, Atman is the place to be. The highest quality and service allow you to enjoy the evening without too many frills.

02/05/2026: Nice business (butcher shop) that also serves as a restaurant. The premises are well-maintained by polite, informal staff.
We ate well, and I really enjoyed the raw sausage—that's the Tuscan favorite! Nice location, good food, but one flaw: it was at our table. The meat wasn't cold, but it arrived late.
26/01/2026: Nice, well-maintained restaurant. The meat is freshly cut at the adjoining butcher's shop. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I stumbled upon it by accident, but I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

16/02/2026: Excellent. A secluded, quiet, and green farmhouse with an excellent restaurant. We had a set lunch menu, all made with top-quality ingredients that never left you hungry. There's also the option of staying overnight and purchasing homemade food.
Well worth a visit.

04/06/2026: Good sandwich shop in Quarrata. Very good sandwiches. The staff is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. At least until four years ago, but now the quality has significantly declined and everything costs more. The onion rings used to be artisanal and out of this world; now they're frozen and less tasty. Los Pollos used to have better chicken, but now it's slightly worse. It's a shame. It's lost its appeal.

04/05/2026: Nice restaurant, efficient, kind, and smiling staff!!! The food is very good, well-cooked, and tasty!! Especially the steak!!! Really good!!! A little pricey, but worth it!!! Unfortunately, we were on the veranda, and there were two long, very loud tables... They were really annoying!!! I recommend getting a seat inside for a more peaceful atmosphere!!! I saw that there are smaller tables inside.
03/05/2026: We were heading back to our hotel and randomly chose this restaurant based on an AI recommendation.
The road to the restaurant was a bit challenging, as Google Maps suggested a shortcut through the vineyards — I would not recommend taking it. It’s much safer and easier to stick to the main road.
The restaurant itself is a beautiful and cozy place with excellent staff and a very welcoming owner. Every detail of the interior feels thoughtfully placed, and you can clearly see that the place is maintained with care and genuine passion.
The food was absolutely outstanding. I have never had such a delicious grilled steak before — it was truly impressive. The fresh homemade vegetables tasted like they had just been picked from the garden. The roasted potatoes were perfectly crispy, and the house wine completed the experience beautifully — it was pure pleasure.
And as a perfect finishing touch — a homemade crème brûlée paired with excellent coffee.
