12/09/2025: We tried several dishes, and I must say we were satisfied with all of them.
Especially the tagliatelle with hare ragù and white chocolate, and the gnocchi with beetroot, honey, lavender, and Taleggio cheese.
The pork ribs were incredibly tender, but in my opinion, they should have used a little less BBQ sauce (it overpowers the flavor too much).

03/11/2025: We were there on Saturday night, and we really enjoyed everything. Excellent food and super attentive service. The owners are two young, talented guys! We'll definitely be back.
01/11/2025: My partner and I went there this evening and had a great time! The place is welcoming, the staff are young, friendly, and always smiling. Quality products, generous portions, and the wine they offered was also truly excellent. Everything was perfect, we'll definitely be back!

Stefano masterfully enhances the flavors of Molise and transforms them into incredible culinary creations. A fresh, modern interpretation that elevates the simplicity of local products to another level.
A corner of Molise that, through Stefano's talent, becomes art.

17/11/2025: What can I say? No breakfast before 8 am, even on Monday mornings, and if you want eggs, it's not until 9 am… The rooms are very poorly soundproofed; you can hear everything that's going on in the hallways, etc. The hotel is outdated… I won't be going back.

Welcoming place, impeccable service, and qualified and friendly staff.
It's a shame we're so far away, but I'll definitely be back.
02/09/2025: This is my second time here, and I'll definitely be back for a third. The quality of the food is evident from the amuse bouche. We sampled several dishes from the à la carte menu, and each was carefully crafted and presented, both in the plating and in the explanations given by the wait staff. We found the service welcoming, professional, and delicious. The criticisms I've read about the prices seem unfounded to me; quality comes at a price, as does the work that goes into each course. If I want to spend little and eat mediocre food, there are plenty of other places to go. This place is for a culinary experience, and we certainly didn't leave hungry; quite the opposite. Special thanks to the staff: knowledgeable, attentive, and impeccable. The wine list is highly regarded, with some unusual offerings. In short, a real gem in Asti.

03/11/2025: I personally really like the new and modern environment, the pizza is super good and super digestible, I've been going there for years even before the renovation and it's always a pleasure to eat a good pizza and its specialties, with the fried pizza, the girata and the sospesa and the seasonal ones followed by a good beer 🍺

We are now on our fourth visit to Castello di Montecavallo, and each time it is an unforgettable experience. We chose to celebrate my birthday here and, as always, everything was perfect.
The castle is a magical place, cared for down to the smallest details and managed with passion. Martina is an extraordinary hostess: she welcomes you with a smile and tells the story and the work behind each glass with contagious passion. The wine, needless to say, is simply incredible — each tasting is a journey through authentic aromas and flavors.
This time we wanted to complete the experience by sleeping a night in the B&B inside the estate. The rooms are large, elegantly furnished and perfectly in tune with the beauty of the place. The view of the greenery is picture-postcard, everything is kept with a care that can be felt everywhere.
In the morning we were greeted by a dream breakfast, prepared by Erica, who with sweetness and attention makes you start the day with a smile and many delights.
In summary? A place of the soul, where you can always return. Highly recommended.

15/07/2025: A renowned restaurant, I expected the cuisine to be much more refined in taste and flavor. Overall, a good lunch. The highlight is definitely the wines, undoubtedly top-quality.
The location is lovely, quite well-maintained, and the view is stunning.

The food was very good, and overall it was a wonderful experience, with a very refined atmosphere.
The quality/price ratio was very fair!

04/10/2025: Great location, even greater host. Thank you Stefano for a wonderful time! We highly recommend this fattoria! The view is breathtaking. Our apartment was comfortable and had everthing we needed. Our highlight was the delicious happy hour with cheese/proschiutto platter served at a terrace where you can confortably sip local wine while watching one of the most amazing sunsets we've ever seen. The property is beautiful and very well taken care of. We really hope we go back one day!
30/06/2025: Viajamos alrededor de la Toscana durante dos semanas e hicimos una parada en Villa Bordoni, que alberga un buen restaurante.
Tuvimos la oportunidad de probar las delicias del chef, como pulpo, guiso de jabalí, mejillas de ternera y la cereza del pastel fue una espléndida Bistecca a la Fiorentina.
Probamos la Bistecca en 4 lugares diferentes alrededor de la Toscana, todos estaban sabrosos, pero este fue el mejor de todos.
El servicio también es muy bueno, mientras que el lugar es maravilloso!

We had a wonderful time celebrating a friend's birthday.
24/10/2025: What an incredible dinner! Every dish at Mattacchione was a little surprise - creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can feel the passion behind each plate, from the seafood dishes to the amazing desserts that looked (and tasted) like art.
The team is super kind and professional, and they make you feel completely at home even in such a refined setting.
The tasting menu was a real journey through Sardinia in a modern, elegant way.
The wine pairing was excellent too, the Venas “Abal’Apà” matched perfectly with the food.
Definitely one of the best dining experiences in Olbia. Highly recommended if you love food that’s both creative and made with heart.
