02/07/2025: A pleasant confirmation We always return with pleasure to Al Cambio Welcoming place Professional and attentive service Piero the host accompanies you excellently throughout the evening Menu linked to the Bolognese tradition, but not only, cyclically they are changed and new dishes are proposed Lasagna always remains their winning dish, have they perhaps reduced the portion compared to the past?
02/07/2025: The house specialty lasagna is excellent. You must make a reservation. Even though I was greeted very kindly without a reservation, it's best not to try. Quality service. I recommend it for a very good meal. This restaurant, a little far from the center, is worth the detour. Bus 25 at Doccia station drops you off next door.

01/07/2025: A very nice restaurant, located on a quiet street, with a cozy outdoor area. The food was excellent, and the staff were truly friendly and attentive. They also offer recommendations for local wines and beers. Highly recommended!
28/06/2025: Perfetto!! Everything was delicious. And incredibly good little appetizer before. However, very hot outside 38 degrees) and even though we sat inside it was a bit warm. Good service and everyone could speak English. We each had a starter, each a primi, a bottle of barbera, 2 waters and 2 limoncello

28/06/2025: We joined the gourmantico initiative to celebrate my husband's birthday. Table for 4 people. We went for sure because one of our guests had already been to the restaurant on several occasions and always spoke highly of it. Unfortunately, our experience was not up to the level of his stories. The 5-course tasting menu was served too quickly (we sat down at 8:15 pm and were asked if we wanted coffee at 9:05 pm) The appetizer arrived together with the entree... Unfortunately, one dish was served cold and when we asked for information, the answer was that it was a summer choice in which the crazy water was poured cold on hot lobster (but my lobster seemed to have just come straight out of the fridge and I thought too much time had passed between the composition of the dish and the service) Even the second course of chicken which included a fried lollipop was cold with veins of blood inside. Unfortunately, the impression was that the dishes were already ready and not created at the moment given the speed of the service. We asked for a break between the last course and the dessert but then the latter was served without asking if we were ready to continue. Finally, before the coffee, we asked for a bottle and an extra dessert menu just to enjoy the occasion but we felt uncomfortable because we felt like we wanted to close early. It took me a while to pay while 3 people were busy cleaning the coffee machine mumbling without caring about my presence. We then understood that the chef was not present and the impression is that the hand had slipped a bit in his absence. It's a shame because we felt like second-rate guests as participants in the gourmantico initiative that should be dedicated to the food and wine promotion of the area and to be an additional opportunity to reconfirm the professionalism of the restaurants that participate. If we decide to try this formula again, we will focus on the Bergamo restaurants that have already proven themselves on several occasions to be welcoming and impeccable both in terms of service and food quality. It is a shame that we were unable to have a discussion with the chef that we would have liked to meet in person but who will continue to enjoy our admiration.
23/06/2025: Il Cantuccio is a historic establishment, awarded a Michelin star in 2007, which it has maintained to this day. An award that not only rewards technical excellence, but also the coherence of a vision, the ability to remain true to oneself while evolving, and a deep bond with the territory. The chef's secret Speaking with Mauro Elli, his philosophy immediately emerges: "The secret of a good chef? Understanding the territory, and with your own hand and heart transforming it into dishes to offer to customers. Here we have eliminated garlic, onion and spices. The flavors remain clear, but softer. We work on simplicity, which is actually the most difficult thing and the richest in details." A thought that is fully reflected in the dishes: balance, clarity of flavors, technique and respect for the ingredient. A cuisine that does not want to amaze with special effects, but to convince with cleanliness and depth. The menu The menu of Il Cantuccio is one of the most balanced and attractive among those of the starred restaurants in the area. A proposal designed to please, to leave a mark, but without forcing: dishes that speak a clear language, that are remembered for their essence rather than for their appearance. Creativity is present, but never an end in itself. There is a precise desire to communicate with the customer, to accompany him on a journey that surprises without disorienting. And finally, an aspect that is anything but secondary: the quality-price ratio. It is rare to find such a virtuous balance between experience, service and bill in a starred restaurant. The customer perceives that he is experiencing something authentic, refined, complete. And this makes Cantuccio a destination to mark on the agenda.

Ristorante La Parolina

27/06/2025: I had the privilege of eating here on a Sunday for lunch as a birthday present. A fantastic experience both for the food and for the places and people, a rare combination. You have lunch on the terrace in absolute quiet, overlooking the hills of Radicofani and San Casciano dei Bagni. The dishes are inspired by the best local products (including the black lentils of Onano that look like sturgeon caviar!) and are all cooked with creativity and obvious passion, you really feel pampered. I loved the panzanella ice cream in tomato and strawberry water, the gnocchi with Canino asparagus and shrimp carpaccio and the pigeon skewer, but in general everything was delicious and served impeccably. Next time I would like to sleep in one of the rooms behind the restaurant, it seems we missed out on a dream breakfast!
27/05/2025: Siamo tornati per la terza volta a La Parolina di Trevinano, e anche questa volta è stata un’esperienza impeccabile sotto ogni aspetto. Eravamo a cena con una coppia di amici e siamo stati accolti con la solita cortesia e professionalità che contraddistingue questo luogo. Il menù era come sempre curatissimo, con piatti bilanciati e creativi, accompagnati da ottimi vini scelti con attenzione. Il responsabile di sala è stato molto bravo nel guidarci durante la cena, e la chef Iside a fine serata è venuta al tavolo a parlare a lungo con noi: gentile, appassionata e sempre disponibile, è un vero piacere incontrarla. Anche il soggiorno è stato all’altezza delle aspettative: camere belle, curate nei dettagli, e una colazione servita in camera davvero eccellente. Essendo ormai clienti abituali, possiamo dire con certezza che La Parolina è una garanzia di qualità, accoglienza e bellezza. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

12/05/2025: If it weren't for the Michelin star posted on the door it would be a good restaurant nestled in a fantastic location. There is no doubt about the quality of the food and the preparations but there was nothing that surprised or left its mark as found in other starred restaurants

14/06/2025: I must say that the expectations have totally met the Expectations Francesco the chef Superlative…Domenico at the table was super Nice and truly Professional We took SIMPLY FE as recommended and everything was perfect! The little girl took a cutlet with mayonnaise made by the chef for her and we were not charged any amount for her (not at all obvious) everyone was really great🫶

18/04/2025: Hostaria il Cavallo per chi come noi la conosce è da sempre una garanzia, un posto che mi sento di consigliare agli amanti di pesce che vogliono assaporare piatti classici rivisitati dalla creatività dell'Oste Massimo e della madre. Situato in un paesino nelle campagne lombarde a ridosso del fiume Po, qui potrete godere della tranquillità e del fascino di una realtà ancora immutata dal tempo e di una conviviale atmosfera fra gli abitanti del paese di cui l'Hostaria è il fiore all'occhiello. Se siete inoltre amanti dei cavalli come l'Oste, potrete visitare il maneggio situato a pochi passi per godervi a pieno l'atmosfera rurale del posto. Piatto forte? Senza dubbio il risotto gambero rosso e tartufo, un piatto che solitamente mette d'accordo anche i più scettici, ma il mio preferito rimane l'antipasto di mare caldo (foto in allegato) piccoli assaggi di esplosioni di sapori che vorresti non finissero mai. Le regine della festa sono le cozze ripiene che lasciano il desiderio di farne indigestione. Che dire? : È consigliabile agli amanti di pesce di farvi tappa, non ve ne pentirete.
