Locanda Belvedere, a beautiful restaurant and b&b up in the mountains of Rocchetta al Volturno welcomed our tired selves and our bikes even though the season hadn’t started yet. The accommodation was satisfactory but what really shined was our dinner and breakfast. Dinner was exceptional with a knowledgable staff and wine pairing. We woke to an Italian breakfast with very fresh food. Highly recommend.

We spent Easter Monday at the inn, I had never been there before.
Several friends had spoken well of it and recommended it to me.
Intrigued, I decided to book and I was really satisfied.
Quiet place, family environment, professional staff and top cuisine.
A special thanks to Stefano who immediately made himself available to us, satisfying our every request.
I will definitely come back.

We had an Easter lunch as a family in this enchanting place with kind, welcoming and helpful staff. The chef's professionalism was tangible with the dishes served to us where he masterfully combined traditional flavors and modern, refined cuisine.

Quiet and relaxing place. Local cuisine and very fresh ingredients. Excellent service, everyone was very kind. The local authenticity can be felt in the products. There is a delicious appetizer of "mustard pork fillet". Presented with mixed salad and fruit with thinly sliced fillet and balsamic vinegar cream on top. I could list other dishes but I would take away the pleasure of going and trying chef Stefano's cuisine.

We went here for dinner and I have to say we loved everything about it. A little remote but very suggestive place... definitely worth going into.
Top quality local products, for example the platter with game where there was a very good wild boar salami!!
Vast list of excellent quality wines. I attach a photo of the wine we took, truly EXCELLENT.
Super recommended place, where you can have an excellent quality dinner at fair prices.

Ed eccoci arrivati a nove anni. S, infatti è da nove anni che conosciamo e frequentiamo questo locale. Dal 2014 trscorriamo il 31 dcembre in questo posto allietati dal menù proposto da Stefano Rufo.
Un grande chef che con passione si dedica a questo lavoro. La proposta culinaria di quest'anno è stata superlativa. A mio avviso, la migliore che abbia mai provato e forse anche la più audace, con ingredienti che potrebbero sembrare difficili da amalgamare ma che, in mano a lui, sono diventati piattI eccellent accompagnati da ottimi vini. Ancora un grazie a Stefano ed alla sua brigata per averci fatto trascorrere un allegro ultimo dell'anno deliziat ianche dalla musica della "strana Coppia"..

Abbiamo trascorso una meravigliosa domenica a pranzo.
I piatti sono deliziosi e le materie prime sono eccellenti. Abbiamo mangiato ottimi salumi, pappardelle al cinghiale, gnocchi di zucca al ragù di cinghiale e uno superlativo spezzatino di cervo. Anche i dolci sono eccellenti: tiramisu e crostata ricotta e cioccolata. Il prezzo onestissimo.
Facciamo i nostri complimenti alla splendida famiglia che gestisce il locale e al bravissimo chef. A presto

È la seconda volta che passando per l'Abruzzo ci fermiamo, lo chef si conferma un ottimo padrone di casa e le pietanze ricche e saporite.
