01/11/2025: Superb dinner with tigelle and gnocco fritto! Friendly and helpful staff. The menu option, which allows you to have as many tigelle and gnocco fritto as you want, is excellent, especially since the toppings and sauces are plentiful.

28/10/2025: The place is a bit hidden, but spacious, and the times we went, it was never too crowded. Tigelle and fried gnocchi are available with unlimited refills with any menu, so when you run out, they're refilled, always hot and fresh from the oven. You can also choose the non-stop menu with unlimited refills, including cold cuts, cheeses, and vegetables. We had the classic tigella bella menu and a gourmet one. The sauces that come with the menus are a mix of savory and sweet. We all left feeling full and paying a fair price, around €20 each!

21/12/2025: Good pizza, fresh ingredients, and fast service. Friendly staff and fair prices. Definitely try the spelt dough, very well made. Excellent option for takeout. Recommended.

14/12/2025: The lady's courtesy and the decent food are erased when they present you with a €50 bill for two starters, a main course, a side dish, and 1/2 pint of red wine. I think it's a trick aimed at non-regular customers, and they're rude about the total without the various items. I've been there before, but I've never been treated like this.

23/11/2025: Excellent food and homemade. The owner, Antonella, is super welcoming, very attentive to the customer's needs, friendly, and...the mushrooms at midnight unleashed beautiful things as promised :)

04/01/2026: 03/01/26 While visiting the Sanctuary, given the cold, I decided to have a hot chocolate at this place, and I was surprised...large outdoor space with tables and chairs and a SUPER panoramic view of Vicenza, spacious and clean inside too. A plus is the pastry shop with excellent pastries (I haven't tried the cakes, but they look good), the coffee shop is also good, in short, I liked it.

17/09/2025: [updated 09/16/2025] I'm a regular. I've stayed at the Tavernelle Hotel and Restaurant several times, and I pride myself on knowing the people who work there thoroughly, or at least getting to know them enough to return not just for lodging but for a "visit." Although it's not the most glamorous place, with the comforts of a hotel, I felt at home. I felt at home in a place I'm unfamiliar with, far from where I live. I ate well, as if my mother were cooking for me. I ate really, really well (I repeat). The rooms, though sometimes small, were more than adequate. The sheets were always clean and smelled fresh. The bathrooms were impeccable. The staff was friendly and courteous from the very first moment. Once we got to know them better, Cinzia and Mauro proved to be lovely people. Mauro sometimes has strange theories, but he makes me laugh, so that's fine. Perhaps I could use a fresh coat of paint. It looks like a neglected place, but in reality it isn't. The parking lot is very rough, but it does what it's supposed to. I've attached a few photos from one of the many times I was hungry, and I wasn't disappointed.

22/09/2025: The pizza was decent but nothing special; don't expect authentic Neapolitan pizza, which you can find at other pizzerias in the Vicenza area. The place is cramped. Drinks are expensive (beer for €0.50 is €7.50). When we got the bill, we were charged for four glasses of wine instead of two. Be careful if you split the bill, as the receipt doesn't list the individual items. Upon request, the owner refunded us the correct amount without even apologizing for the "inconvenience." Overall, the value for money is disappointing. P.S. The one in the photo is a large glass of wine; we paid extra; you decide on the quantities.

25/10/2025: Excellent pastry shop! Fresh, top-quality products, impeccable service, and always friendly staff. Pasticceria Gardellin is the perfect place for breakfast or a sweet treat. Highly recommended!

18/10/2025: Excellent pizza with plenty of customization options thanks to the extensive list of "add-ons." The beer is also very good. The interior has a traditional trattoria-like atmosphere. The terrace is excellent in the summer.

12/10/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent meat and generous side dishes. They offered us delicious appetizers while we waited. We'll be back!

30/11/2025: I decided to organize a birthday party at Botanico 87 and was absolutely delighted! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and ready to accommodate any request. The atmosphere was perfect: I reserved the room, and despite it being a small bar, we weren't disturbed by other customers. Upon request, they brought us cicchetti cut in half, which were very generous and had sophisticated flavors. TOP!

30/11/2025: ...don't even ask about Stefano. The answers are vague, with faces and stupid smiles. Since I'm now back where I drank well last spring (with Stefano), I ask for a Last Word. The bartender, who had earlier promoted herself, doesn't hide: she doesn't know what it is. So she tries the menu, which I decline: what could she possibly offer me? I'm thirsty, I still have an hour until dinner, and I already had a terrible Gin & Tonic at Buzzolan because it was on offer. I throw out a Daiquiri, what could possibly go wrong? Instead, things will go worse, starting with the glass: crude in its supposed refinement, heavy, too thick. Finally, the cocktail: it's too diluted, too sweet, not exactly cold, and the lime juice isn't fresh. Conclusion: Stefano has most likely returned to his former hometown of Thiene, where the drinking is truly awful.
