25/12/2025: The pizza was excellent and plentiful.

06/12/2025: Lunch with a friend I hadn't seen in a while... far from the usual factory cafeteria. A warm welcome, very kind. Pasta and ragù, ch3 gioia, taste like the one my mother used to make... I mopped up the sauce... Lemon-breaded steak and baked potatoes... Simple menu, so delicious. I have to go back for the pizza, which I think is the best in Vicenza.

19/11/2025: Great for a business lunch. I see they have some Vicenza merchandise; maybe we can watch the games if they're open. It gets crowded, great atmosphere.

09/02/2026: The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet location. The room was very nice and clean. It's a shame about the noise from the restaurant. The service was good, but a few more smiles wouldn't hurt; it was a bit cold. We couldn't rate the restaurant; it was fully booked.

09/01/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant. The atmosphere was super welcoming and warm, and the food was excellent, well-prepared with local ingredients. The selection of appetizers, both beef and venison, was excellent, and the first courses were exceptional!

05/10/2025: Really poor service, never respected the schedule, a 45-minute delay, I'd say, is way too much. I ordered four pizzas, and the Margherita arrived without tomato sauce and covered in low-quality mozzarella. I found a dead insect inside a cardboard box; I think that's too much.

11/10/2025: I came for having a traditional Italian breakfast accompanied by Australian’s grandfather. We enjoyed our hot coffees and little pastries while we’re sit on a cleaned table outside looking at people around. The atmosphere was really relaxed and great. The staff was such kind with us. I recommend to stop at least one time!😊

19/06/2025: Delicious pastries, coffee and tea, made and served by friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating with a good, relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonable (low) prices for the quality and service.

30/11/2025: ...don't even ask about Stefano. The answers are vague, with faces and stupid smiles. Since I'm now back where I drank well last spring (with Stefano), I ask for a Last Word. The bartender, who had earlier promoted herself, doesn't hide: she doesn't know what it is. So she tries the menu, which I decline: what could she possibly offer me? I'm thirsty, I still have an hour until dinner, and I already had a terrible Gin & Tonic at Buzzolan because it was on offer. I throw out a Daiquiri, what could possibly go wrong? Instead, things will go worse, starting with the glass: crude in its supposed refinement, heavy, too thick. Finally, the cocktail: it's too diluted, too sweet, not exactly cold, and the lime juice isn't fresh. Conclusion: Stefano has most likely returned to his former hometown of Thiene, where the drinking is truly awful.

30/11/2025: I decided to organize a birthday party at Botanico 87 and was absolutely delighted! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and ready to accommodate any request. The atmosphere was perfect: I reserved the room, and despite it being a small bar, we weren't disturbed by other customers. Upon request, they brought us cicchetti cut in half, which were very generous and had sophisticated flavors. TOP!

22/09/2025: The pizza was decent but nothing special; don't expect authentic Neapolitan pizza, which you can find at other pizzerias in the Vicenza area. The place is cramped. Drinks are expensive (beer for €0.50 is €7.50). When we got the bill, we were charged for four glasses of wine instead of two. Be careful if you split the bill, as the receipt doesn't list the individual items. Upon request, the owner refunded us the correct amount without even apologizing for the "inconvenience." Overall, the value for money is disappointing. P.S. The one in the photo is a large glass of wine; we paid extra; you decide on the quantities.

13/01/2026: A truly delightful discovery: located in a building adjacent to the Maso Fort, it features rustic yet refined decor, large tables, and adequate space. The owner and staff were very kind and attentive to their customers. The menu offered excellent traditional dishes, carefully prepared, tasty, and with generous portions. The prices were average. Service times were a bit slow, but the restaurant was packed, and the waiters always kept a close eye on the various tables. There is a large parking lot, but unfortunately, it can be reached via a dirt road. Although not long, it has a series of deep gutters that put a strain on the underside of cars. It's best to walk there from the hamlet of Sant'Antonio below, along a pleasant military road that takes about an hour of easy walking.

17/11/2025: Trattoria Forte Maso is located in a truly enchanting setting. The food is delicious, authentic, and rooted in tradition. Many dishes, all homemade, are prepared with great care and attention to flavor. It's definitely worth stopping for a meal.

18/01/2026: Wide selection of excellent pizzas made with seasonal ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is typical of the area and has retained a family atmosphere.

09/11/2025: Definitely worth a try!!! Good food, attentive and friendly wait staff... top-notch fried food, plentiful and fresh! (We brought it home because it was a large portion, eaten until the next day and even remained crispy in the fridge.) Once you cut it, it's out of this world, and the quality/price ratio is fantastic!

25/10/2025: Excellent pastry shop! Fresh, top-quality products, impeccable service, and always friendly staff. Pasticceria Gardellin is the perfect place for breakfast or a sweet treat. Highly recommended!
