05/07/2026: I apologize if my wife and I aren't drawn to the Venetian menu, such as cod, duck, and so on. So, we opted for a seafood appetizer and seafood spaghetti for the main course, and we were delighted. The seafood, which often turns out rubbery, was cooked perfectly, and the sauce on the spaghetti was so wonderful that I ended up mopping up my wife's plate with the sauce. The waiter, Bruno, if I remember correctly, was professional and friendly. Just a few steps and you'll be at the Ponte degli Alpini.

10/06/2026: A great experience for a quiet Saturday evening. The place is clean and nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered pizza and a grilled meat and had a great meal. The prices are fair. Recommended.

18/04/2026: A disappointing dinner due to unacceptable service times. We arrived at 8:45 PM, and initially the service started well: we received some dishes (maguro tataki, gyoza ravioli, lover boat, and scallop nigiri) without any particular problems. The problem arose later. Despite several dishes we had ordered still being missing (Shiwase uramaki, salmon truffle maki, and Unagi maki), the wait was interminable. At 10:45 PM—two hours later—we still hadn't received everything. We repeatedly asked for updates (at least twice), and the staff even asked us if anything was missing: a clear sign of careless order management. Despite this, the dishes never arrived. Eventually, exasperated by the wait, we got up to pay without having finished our dinner. Only then were we told that the dishes were "ready." Late communication and completely untimely management: useless at that point. It's a shame, because the food was actually good, but such slow and disorganized service completely ruins the experience. The dining room management and the timing of food delivery need serious review.

08/09/2025: Excellent, quiet bar with a view of the wonderful—and underrated—Piazza IV Novembre. The food and drinks are excellent, and the service is quick and efficient. After frequenting Bar ai Portici a couple of times, they treat you like a regular and remember your preferences. I especially appreciate that the tables are always spotless, which unfortunately isn't a given at other establishments. Reasonable prices.

15/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance and was amazed by the excellent quality of the service, the food, and the best coffee not only in Vicenza but the Veneto region! If you're celiac, like me, the chef is excellent and very attentive, which isn't always a given when you're out and about!! The staff is incredibly fast, professional, and very efficient. What can I say....Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

07/06/2026: The new bartender caused bad service to me and my friend, we tried to call her several times but she ignored us looking at us, to top it all she slammed the glasses on the table looking at us badly

22/09/2025: The pizza was decent but nothing special; don't expect authentic Neapolitan pizza, which you can find at other pizzerias in the Vicenza area. The place is cramped. Drinks are expensive (beer for €0.50 is €7.50). When we got the bill, we were charged for four glasses of wine instead of two. Be careful if you split the bill, as the receipt doesn't list the individual items. Upon request, the owner refunded us the correct amount without even apologizing for the "inconvenience." Overall, the value for money is disappointing. P.S. The one in the photo is a large glass of wine; we paid extra; you decide on the quantities.

06/01/2026: On January 5th, I went to meet a friend who works there to say hello. Mrs. Lary, the manager, recognized me and offered me a frozen yogurt even though they were closing and had practically cleaned out the car, so I felt a bit sorry to disturb them. What can I say? The frozen yogurt was out of this world. I've never had anything like it anywhere else. From now on, when I crave frozen yogurt, I know where to go. Kudos to Mrs. Lary for her professionalism and kindness, and also to the staff, who are also friendly and make you feel at home. Radin, you're good. 🌲🐓

05/03/2026: The food is undoubtedly very good, homemade, I would say excellent. I would definitely say no to having lunch at a cold temperature, as I ate with my duvet on and that wasn't the only sin.

13/04/2026: I've ordered gluten-free pizza from this pizzeria several times, with home delivery (by phone). I have to say it's one of the best gluten-free pizzas I've ever had. The dough is perfect, the right size (not smaller than usual), the dough is firm and elastic, with crispy edges. It's simply perfect, and every time I've ordered it, it has always been. The delivery drivers are always punctual and helpful, and the prices are excellent. Every time I'm in Vicenza, I do everything I can to get pizza here... What can I say? Thank you for doing justice to us celiacs!

17/07/2026: Since we're guests of the beach club, we decided to try the restaurant twice. The food offers good menu choices and is therefore good overall. The restaurant is better than the pizzeria. The table service is forgettable: unfortunately, after serving the table, the staff forgets about the existence of the customers sitting at the far ends of the outdoor area, to the point that to call a waiter, you have to get up from your table and go look for one 🤦

09/07/2026: A three-course menu for €30 (drinks not included) with mussels as the star: everything was excellent. The pizzas were also very good!

14/04/2026: The bar is clean and tastefully decorated. It's not minimalist at all; on the contrary, you just have to look up when you enter (or exit) to notice the decor... I won't spoil it, but it's truly beautiful. There's also an outdoor space with chairs, tables, and small cushioned benches. Despite facing the street, it's well separated by a garden and feels quiet, without any noise. The birds, now accustomed to it, even come over to ask for food, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. The interior is composed of chests and chairs, and the restroom is clean. It's a versatile place, suitable for breakfast, lunch (sandwiches and tramezzini), with very good and generous salads. With the arrival of warmer weather, it's also perfect for something refreshing. It's also a great place for aperitifs: for those of us who, like me, don't drink, the drinks are freshly prepared and not simply poured from a bottle. I would, however, suggest adding more appetizers, not just chips. The same goes for a tea or hot chocolate break during the winter. The staff is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5: I understand that not all days are the same, but a smile remains the foundation.
