05/05/2025: Excellent Stay for Our Cycling Club - Great Food and Amenities! Our cycling club recently spent a week at Alla Corte Hotel, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel and its facilities were excellent, as was the service and especially the food. We would definitely come back! The staff were all very friendly, although perhaps surprisingly reserved. A special highlight was the grappa tasting hosted by the owner on our last evening – thank you so much for that! The rooms were very spacious, and we really appreciated that we were allowed to bring our road bikes into our rooms. Our corner room didn't have a balcony, but we didn't miss it. The mattresses were firm and very comfortable. The hallways and rooms were a bit noisy, but as all the guests were considerate, this wasn't a problem. The hotel caters well to cyclists. The free water dispensers in the hallways were a great touch. For breakfast, it would be nice to see a bit more variety for cyclists, such as more fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as muesli, nuts, and seeds. The coffee from the machine was okay. The breakfast room itself was small and charming, but unfortunately, there was no option to sit outside. In the evenings, we had à la carte half-board at the hotel. The food was delicious, with an appetizer, first course, main course, and dessert. We preferred this to a buffet, and the service was also excellent. One small suggestion: even if there's an extra charge, it would be helpful to have a menu of other drinks available to order. We also would have liked to use the bar in the evenings, but it always seemed closed. The outdoor area to the left of the entrance also looked like it would be a fantastic space to enjoy warm summer evenings (we were there in April/May). Despite the owner only speaking Italian, we were able to communicate well. He was very friendly and personable. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Alla Corte Hotel, especially for cycling groups.

22/03/2025: I'm so happy - I was able to open the "asparagus season" today with an excellent asparagus tasting menu. The food was cooked to a star standard in a welcoming, family atmosphere!!! Best wine recommendation, courteous service. Friendly welcome, modern rooms, enough parking space.

15/05/2025: Beautiful setting, where you can have aperitifs, breakfasts, Apericena. Very wide range of products, high quality pastries and very kind staff.

11/05/2025: Absolutely to avoid, poor food we had asked for well cooked burgers, one with caramelized onion and one with dried tomato. One tasted like sugar, in fact the onion covered everything and the other had a semi-raw hamburger. I asked to do it again and they reheated it anyway. The chips that tasted like used motor oil were absolute disgusting. In the end, a constant stomach ache and a ruined day. Furthermore, the place was empty, which says it all, and we waited a long time with shouts in the kitchen and grumpy waitresses. We will never go back...

03/05/2025: What can I say... always a certainty... which among other things remains constant over the years. Super professional and competent staff. Excellent food. Price in line with restaurants at the same level.

28/04/2025: Bar under the gallery of the Basilica Palladiana. Fantastic location. Good food, the selection of wine by the glass could be done better, but the La Scalata copper pinot grigio offered to me was good. Small flaw in not presenting me with the bottle. Excellent cod with Vicenza-style polenta presented as a dish and not as a typical cream. Cost for the place and the dishes very discreet. Everything is excellent

11/05/2025: Bar pastry shop café Ancoretta is located directly overlooking the regional road 53 which leads to the center of Vicenza. The restaurant has a large window facing the street and has a single room where there are several tables and chairs. However, it does not have tables and chairs outside due to the structure of the restaurant itself. They have a wide selection of brioches, all very delicious. Good coffee. We stopped for a coffee on a Sunday morning so they were still bringing out the pastries, but from what I saw it's safe there too. They also offer the option to ask for takeaway. The pastry shop is suitable for everyone, even children with difficult tastes will find plenty of choice for breakfast or snacks. The venue does not have private parking in front but in the adjacent areas there are small parking areas. The restaurant is located on the ground floor so entry is easy for both strollers and wheelchairs.

17/05/2025: I'll start by saying that I didn't give the maximum to the environment because I found it poorly lit, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the pizza was excellent and so was the service. I had an asparagus pizza that they combined with leek and brie. Very successful taste. Compliments

04/05/2025: One of the best pizzas in the whole city. If not the best. Soft pizza, super soft dough, excellent seasoning and very tasty! The place is very "rustic" and basic. Absolutely recommended!

31/05/2025: Ambiente anni 60. Ho deciso di cenare in questa trattoria perchè pensavo che qualità/prezzo fosse interessante. Di fatto, per il tipo di trattoria, in due siamo riusciti a spendere quasi 100€ ... assurdo considerando che abbiamo ordinato un primo e mezzo, due secondi, due contorni e un dessert oltre a vino, acqua, caffè e due liquori.

17/04/2025: Very good pizza, really good, with excellent dough and cooked in a wood oven. Friendly staff, clean room. Already very satisfied with the Christmas panettone, I decided to also try the Easter Colomba; the dough was soft and light, with excellent quality ingredients. Compliments to the craftsman.

23/03/2025: ...the pizza is really good, with quality ingredients and always well stuffed. The lady who answers the phone is exquisitely kind. Excellent service, delivery is always on time and the guys are kind and polite. What can I say...highly recommended!
