Excellent value. The "Lugargo spritz" (a unique local variation) is delicious. Lunch included linguine with squid ink, octopus with chickpea hummus, and exquisite tiramisu!! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This is a late review because I went to the Barrel on September 8, 2025, but this burger deserved it. I went recently, but they closed the sandwich shop for two months, and honestly, I preferred the special but informal main course menu.

For lunch with friends, we tried the revisited ramen, which, I must say, was very good. I must say, I didn't appreciate the main course: the guinea fowl was very tough and the rice was overcooked. The wine list was average, service was a bit slow, especially in the kitchen when it came to bringing out the dishes. The cleanliness could be improved, however.

A lovely place; I've personally tried it for both aperitifs and lunch and dinner. The terrace is a wonderful place to eat, and the tranquility of the surroundings is hard to find in many places.

If I could, I would give even more stars! Aside from the beauty of the place, which is nothing short of enchanting, La Botte del Covolo is an osteria I always recommend! The quality of the service is very high, as is the quality of the food and drinks! The staff is friendly and always available! It's always a pleasure to go there in any season of the year! Highly recommended! 10 with honors

This osteria is a true gem. The perfect combination of the beautiful location and the delicious food. The service is courteous, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. You can taste the passion in the selection of ingredients and the respect for local recipes. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Lovely place, but not for the designated driver.
Beautiful place, with friendly and helpful staff. The only problem is going there when you're the designated driver of the car, because they don't offer any non-alcoholic beer and the only options are sweet and sugary drinks, like lemon tea, Fanta Coke, etc. Even Coke Zero wasn't available. Anyway, it was worth going, and we had a great time in the unique atmosphere.
