20/06/2025: Rustic, traditional, GOOD! Guido and his sister Anastasia kind and friendly owners of the restaurant really a place to visit! Spaghetti with clams and alla bulsera a must to order! Bravi!

20/06/2025: Great find, really by chance, very friendly staff, we had the speciality of the house, a real treat and very generous, but it's for 2 people.

08/07/2025: The restaurant's ambiance, of course, is all about the beautiful canal. But the historic pizzas, a little off the beaten track, are also definitely worth trying. Reasonably priced.

21/06/2025: The EXTRAORDINARY cover charge (3.50 each) The service leaves much to be desired, rude staff and I don't understand the fact that when I asked for a portion of cheese at the end of lunch I was told that THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY!!!!!! How come?????? A restaurant this famous doesn't have cheese????

09/06/2025: I read the reviews and I let myself be convinced, first mistake, 70s style place a bit squalid, second mistake I ordered a mixed grill without asking the composition convinced they would bring me a classic grill with cuttlefish, scampi, fish with bones and without instead they brought me three fish with bones, too many it takes you half an hour to bone them, half a sea bass that tasted of mud, a sole, this one good and half a fish that I had to ask the name because I had never eaten it, tasteless and stringy, two small shrimps and two sardines definitely not fresh. A salad, a glass of wine and water I paid €50 definitely expensive

10/05/2025: Excellent takeaway pizzeria, with high quality pizzas and ingredients. They also sell bread made by them, with flours of various seeds and types.

27/02/2025: Product as standard, acceptable and nothing more. On the other hand, very high prices, 18 euros for a double salami pizza and a portion of chips delivered 500m away, excessive.

30/05/2025: Mit unseren Enkelin auf eine Pizza vorbeigekommen. Muss ehrlich sagen, es hat mir das letzt Mal besser geschmeckt. Auch der Tomatensalat war keine Erleuchtung, mehr Zwiebel als Tomaten😥

28/05/2025: So, this place was highly recommended, Well, by the locals @ least, but we had [no experience] No Luck, we arrived @ around 11.30 in the morning, & we were told, reservations only, So one of the servers, "let me check with my Boss." well, didn't have a Rolex watch on and he looked @ me, and said "NO", So sad, the place was empty, so, my Wife & I went to another Restaurant, & came back 45 minutes, later, & the outside was almost full, but the inside was half full, and the back portion of the facility, was completely empty, I was not happy, I'm sure Chef Ruggero Bovo, [the founder, of this establishment] would not be happy, So, Sad. 28/04/2025: We tried the cicchetti for the first time and they were delicious, and the recommendations from staff were great.

03/04/2025: This little shop is located near the Rialto bridge and offers typical cod-based products and more. We stopped for some cicchetti and tried cod meatballs, creamed cod, Vicenza-style cod and sardines in saor and we liked everything. There is no place to sit, just a small bench to lean on outside. For 3 glasses of wine and 6 cicchetti we spent €24.

04/07/2025: Tidy place, very friendly staff. You order at the cashier and when it's ready you are notified via display and speaker. Very good products and generous portions, pizza with gluten-free dough really very good.

29/05/2025: Basegone è una tappa fissa tutte le volte che sono a Venezia, vetrina di cicchetti sempre fornita che cambia con la stagionalità, ottimi vini e spritz tradizionali e anche qualcosa di diverso come qualello con il P31 o il rabarbaro. Staff gentile e disponibile che ti fa sentire parte di una famiglia! Prezzi onesti e tavoli per rilassarsi disponibili 😊

07/06/2025: Between the first and second courses, we waited more than half an hour. The pasta dish was small for its €19 price tag. They put us at the only table left on the terrace, in full sun, with a closed umbrella. When a table opened up, we asked to be moved.

28/05/2025: Hermoso patio, con toques de jazmín, las mejores vieiras, rosados y ambiente. El servicio fue impecable y un gran lugar para celebrar una ocasión especial. Muy recomendable!

Particularly crowded this morning perhaps because of the market so there was a wait for the coffees and the croissants were almost finished (which however can be filled with your favorite cream, in my case pistachio). The brioche breads with cooked ham are special (also possible with salmon): tasty and quality ingredients. We did an encore!! Advise
