28/09/2025: This establishment has been transformed into the Birreria Fabbrica di Pedavena, although it has retained its original name. The pub remains as well-kept and spacious as before, but the menus have changed, offering a pub-style menu with a wide selection of dishes. The service is excellent, as are the pizzas.

25/10/2025: Everything was great, the patio area was relaxing and right on the grand canal. Offer plenty of gluten free options. Recommend the Ravioli and Tagliata Roastbeef

19/10/2025: We chose the terrace to eat overlooking the canal. When we arrived, two tables were vacating, one for 4 and the other for 2, right on the canal. There were two of us. We waited for the people to get up, and before the food arrived, we asked to change tables twice. First, we were told no because the table was for 4, and when the table for 2 was free, they refused because "you can't change tables." They were unoccupied for over 30 minutes. They weren't helpful. They left a lot to be desired. It's a shame, it didn't cost them anything. They overshadowed the lunch. Another thing: it's a terrace, and there are pigeons flying over the food. They allow people to feed the pigeons. Just to keep in mind.

28/10/2025: I have known this historic Spinea venue well for many years, always having eaten excellent sandwiches and the same for the beers, good service and courtesy from the staff.

26/10/2025: After years of living in Spinea... I found a place to eat a good club sandwich... Reading the comments of those who have visited the place... I read that one place wasn't recommended because she couldn't eat inside with her dog... I love dogs and have always had one, and I think dogs shouldn't be allowed in restaurants...

04/09/2025: After not being able to get a table for one person at a competitor with 4.4 stars during rush hour, I received a very warm welcome, excellent service, and excellent food here. The pizza Quattro Stagioni was truly outstanding, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. I'd be happy to come back – I definitely recommend it! 😀

03/10/2025: One of the best pizzerias in town. We go there every time we're in Bibione, and this year we weren't disappointed. Delicious pizza, reasonable prices, very friendly service, always with a smile. There's no long wait. I highly recommend it.

The food here is good, offering a wide selection of sandwiches and tramezzini, various appetizers, first and second courses, side dishes, draft and bottled beer, and a decent selection of bottled wines—ideal for a lunch break. Decent value.

04/11/2025: WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE! We visited Taverna La Fenice on my birthday, for a cocktail (or two) and there we met the lovely bartender, who was absolutely MAGNIFICENT! We were so impressed with him and the service (faultless and to perfection) that we booked a table for the following night, sadly our last night in Venice. The food was Michelin standard, the atmosphere was magical and the staff were amazing and very friendly...except for who we think was the 'head waiter'...a blonde haired man in a blue suit and a red tie who was completely arrogant and thought himself above all other staff and obviously customers! He was constantly standing and talking to the couple on the next table, whom he obviously knew well, whilst we were trying to enjoy the ambience of the place. Not very considerate of him and very offputting. He had the task of creating our crepes at the table, no conversation with us! Almost as though it was beneath him to do this task. He made absolutely no eye contact, which made us feel very uncomfortable and even when he served the dishes to us, he could not bring himself to speak to us, just to grunt something as he handed them over - not professional at all. He then went back to talking to the couple on the next table and waited until he had finished the conversation with them and as he was moving off almost shouted at us, 'It's good, yes?' How rude. How unprofessional. How ignorant. This 'head waiter' or whoever he was, needs to pay more attention to how fabulous all the other staff are, instead of being 'puffed up' and full of his own arrogance. Ridiculous man. HOWEVER, do not let this man you off...the food is the best we tasted in Venice, the atmosphere of the restaurantis is amazing, you are made to feel special by the other staff and the bartender outside was MAGNIFICENT (I wish I had asked his name...he was so lovely) he was worth his weight in gold - what a marvellous front man for the restaurant. Exceptional. You must experience it for yourself...hopefully the 'head waiter' will leave for pastures new soon (he needs to) and let everyone else just get on with doing a spectacular job in a very professional and faultless way. 09/10/2025: Today I arrived in Venice with my mother and girlfriend, and on the first day of our trip we decided to visit this wonderful place. Many myths about Italian cuisine circulate in the Russian-speaking world. Some say it's overrated, others maintain that Italians have become lazy and that no one cares about the quality of their preparation anymore, but at least everyone agrees that Italian dishes are extraordinary. Yes, there are many places in our country that cook "Italian-style" to please our tastes, and coming to Italy I wasn't expecting a disappointment, but I was almost certain I wouldn't like it: after all, it's made for Italians, not for us. And maybe all Italian restaurants are like this, or maybe we just got lucky and ended up in the right place. Because the flavor of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients were excellent. My expectations of Italian cuisine, shaped by the opinions prevalent in our Russian-speaking countries, were completely wrong. That incredible balance of spices and the quality of the preparation completely convinced me that Italian cuisine is extraordinary. I was particularly amazed by the Quattro formaggi pizza: this combination of cheeses is simply perfect. We may not know all the nuances of Italian food culture, but who cares? The important thing is that three people were happy and had a wonderful time. Thank you for this enchanting place and its pleasant atmosphere. I'm sure we'll be back more than once during these six days in Venice. Thank you!
