20/07/2025: It s like coming home to family. We really love this hotel and it s dog friendly. Our dog Charlie also enjoyed hotel second year. They always welcome us really warmly and food is amazing also rooms. I only recommend.

16/07/2025: Fantastic historic hotel in the heart of Venice. The love for this hotel is easy to understand! Wonderful staff, service, food, rooms -- and the best (and I understand biggest) pool in Venice. What a great place -- worthy of the Belmond name.

29/11/2025: We stopped for a spritz...we noticed they made the cicchetti on the spot, so let's go for it!! Both the cod one and the shrimp in saor one were fabulous. Then we saw a plate of fried fish at the next table and ordered that too...excellent both in terms of the way it was cooked and the quantity and variety of fish. Well done!!!
30/10/2025: We ended up eating at Merca, recommended by our hotelier.
Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our table and promptly brought us the menu.
We chose the bigoli in salsa, the grilled vegetables, and the cuttlefish with polenta, and everything exceeded our wildest expectations.
To round out an already excellent dinner, we ordered homemade biscuits with sweet wine, which were also simply delicious.
Very prompt service.
Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: The room is comfortable but lacks a TV or mini-fridge, and the furnishings are minimal and dated. The bathroom lacks a bidet and no counter space. A quaint but uncomfortable inn.
17/09/2025: Having been absent for years, I recently had a pleasant lunch. The food was good, but the prices, unfortunately, were in line with the city and its history. The wine list was modest, with a rather high markup, in my opinion.
Decent service, good availability, and a friendly atmosphere. Worth a try again.

14/09/2025: My little daughter (3) urgently needed to go to the bathroom, so I politely asked the young waitress if I could briefly go with my daughter. She smiled at me and asked if I wanted a drink. I said no, just the restroom, please. She nodded, and we went. When we got there, there was a code lock with a note saying the code would be on the bill. I went back to the waitress and asked for a code, and she asked me again if I wanted a drink, grinning stupidly. That's not how you treat small children! In any case, you'll never see us as paying customers -> minus 5 stars.
03/09/2025: The food isn't great, the place is nice. Let's just say that if you want something quick, you can try it, or you can definitely find something better.
Just cross the street and across the street is the much better Cadilac.
I recommend crossing the street, trust me.

A place immersed in the tranquility of the lagoon, surrounded by bodies of water, enveloped in an almost magical atmosphere. The place is very simple, quite spartan, but welcoming. The staff is truly friendly, mostly members of the owner family, down-to-earth and kind people. The food is simple, but truly delicious. We had a fish appetizer, spaghetti with fish sauce, grilled sea bass and eel, accompanied by cooked vegetables and cardoons. Everything was truly delicious. For those who love the lagoon and simplicity, this is a place worth trying.

22/11/2025: Located a bit away from the hustle and bustle, the staff were friendly... Unfortunately, the food wasn't satisfactory for us. The pizzas tasted like they were frozen... The pasta as a starter was okay... but nothing special either... Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement.
22/11/2025: This was a great find. It feels old world Italian. The service was prompt and attentive. The prices very reasonable and you felt like a local. I would definitely eat here again. Best of all, no cover charge.

09/12/2025: The pizza by the meter is delicious! There are so many different flavors to choose from, from the classics to the more unusual.
The dessert is also delicious: homemade pandoro with chocolate chips.

07/12/2025: The pizza is delicious, easy to digest, and the flavors are varied, no complaints there. The atmosphere is simple but clean and well-kept. The waiters are very kind and smiling.
The only drawback: it would be nice to feel more welcomed by what I believe to be the owner. I understand the difficulty of working with customers (and all that entails), but at least a greeting upon entering the restaurant is, I think, the minimum standard of respect and good manners.

The menu looks delicious at first glance. Unfortunately, the quality of the fish was rather mediocre (at least during my visit). Not bad, but sadly not good either. All in all, mediocre, which is a real shame.

24/08/2025: Delicious gelato 😍 very sweet and flavorful.
Perfect temperature, and when you finish eating it, it's still perfect.
For the price of a scoop, it's a good amount. The only thing I'd change is the flavors; in the past, they had very good flavors that you can't find anymore.
It's still my favorite gelato shop.

31/03/2025: Sono venuto qui un paio di volte e ogni volta mi sono goduto un bel bicchiere di vino rosso e anche del cibo. L'atmosfera è bella e la musica era fantastica la prima volta, con un po' di blues e jazz. È facile entrare da soli o con gli amici.
I came here a few times and enjoyed a nice glass of red wine each time and also some food. The ambiance is good and the music was great the first time, with some blues and jazz. It's easy to go in alone or with friends.

27/10/2025: Overall, it's a nice place, clean and well-maintained, run by staff who are always friendly but not very sociable and rarely smile. They offer a wide selection of sweet and savory food; prices are a bit higher than average. I've stopped going because, especially in the afternoon, the music is quite loud and makes conversation difficult.
23/09/2025: I go there very often, with my children or friends, as I have a disability and live in a nearby facility.
I always find courtesy, excellent options, and good music.
Recommended for everyone!
