22/10/2025: (This review isn't for the food, but rather for an after-dinner cocktail.) It's been a while since I've been here, and I have to say I'm quite disappointed. It used to be a much more refined place, but now the service seems almost nonexistent, and the bartender and the owner, though very friendly and approachable, seem more intent on chatting with each other. The drinks are still very good, and the prices are average. Perhaps we found it a bit of a lame evening, but there also seemed to be a crowd of women (who weren't working) but were "at work."

03/09/2025: The simple atmosphere didn't impress me... the overall price was high... the €3.50 cover charge seemed excessive. The tagliata was truly delicious and worth €20. The cold cuts platter didn't impress me, nor did the plating, which was less than perfect...

13/12/2025: Been here in December, so all was fast. Pizza con prosciutto was nice, as well as cappuccino, and check was 8.5€ which is pretty moderate for Venezia.

20/07/2025: It s like coming home to family. We really love this hotel and it s dog friendly. Our dog Charlie also enjoyed hotel second year. They always welcome us really warmly and food is amazing also rooms. I only recommend. Charlie+Karolina+Christopher 💕

16/07/2025: Fantastic historic hotel in the heart of Venice. The love for this hotel is easy to understand! Wonderful staff, service, food, rooms -- and the best (and I understand biggest) pool in Venice. What a great place -- worthy of the Belmond name.

29/11/2025: We stopped for a spritz...we noticed they made the cicchetti on the spot, so let's go for it!! Both the cod one and the shrimp in saor one were fabulous. Then we saw a plate of fried fish at the next table and ordered that too...excellent both in terms of the way it was cooked and the quantity and variety of fish. Well done!!!

30/10/2025: We ended up eating at Merca, recommended by our hotelier. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our table and promptly brought us the menu. We chose the bigoli in salsa, the grilled vegetables, and the cuttlefish with polenta, and everything exceeded our wildest expectations. To round out an already excellent dinner, we ordered homemade biscuits with sweet wine, which were also simply delicious. Very prompt service. Highly recommended!

08/12/2025: A good all you can eat... shame about the prices... during the week they could lower them a little and do promotions for families... They would have more attendance

20/11/2025: Clean, nice restaurant. The menu looks delicious at first glance. Unfortunately, the quality of the fish was rather mediocre (at least during my visit). Not bad, but sadly not good either. All in all, mediocre, which is a real shame.

20/08/2025: We stopped by for lunch, drawn by the reviews we'd read. The atmosphere is elegant, the food is okay, but our expectations were definitely higher. The food quality is very good, but the service could have been better. We probably just weren't lucky. It's a shame, but the service was impeccable.

21/07/2025: We visited Zoja for dinner during our stay in Venice. Booking through TheFork provided a pleasant 20% discount, which made the final bill more reasonable for this type of venue. The food was well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. Presentation was neat and thoughtful. Service was attentive without being intrusive — the staff deserves credit for maintaining a polite and professional tone throughout the evening. On the downside, the restaurant lacks any notable view — no canals or scenic surroundings. The interior is understated, and being located inside a hotel, the atmosphere feels more private and quiet rather than distinctly Venetian. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxed dinner with good service and well-executed dishes.

12/10/2025: The room is comfortable but lacks a TV or mini-fridge, and the furnishings are minimal and dated. The bathroom lacks a bidet and no counter space. A quaint but uncomfortable inn.

17/09/2025: Having been absent for years, I recently had a pleasant lunch. The food was good, but the prices, unfortunately, were in line with the city and its history. The wine list was modest, with a rather high markup, in my opinion. Decent service, good availability, and a friendly atmosphere. Worth a try again.

14/09/2025: My little daughter (3) urgently needed to go to the bathroom, so I politely asked the young waitress if I could briefly go with my daughter. She smiled at me and asked if I wanted a drink. I said no, just the restroom, please. She nodded, and we went. When we got there, there was a code lock with a note saying the code would be on the bill. I went back to the waitress and asked for a code, and she asked me again if I wanted a drink, grinning stupidly. That's not how you treat small children! In any case, you'll never see us as paying customers -> minus 5 stars.

03/09/2025: The food isn't great, the place is nice. Let's just say that if you want something quick, you can try it, or you can definitely find something better. Just cross the street and across the street is the much better Cadilac. I recommend crossing the street, trust me.

15/11/2025: In the middle of the Venetian Lagoon! A place immersed in the tranquility of the lagoon, surrounded by bodies of water, enveloped in an almost magical atmosphere. The place is very simple, quite spartan, but welcoming. The staff is truly friendly, mostly members of the owner family, down-to-earth and kind people. The food is simple, but truly delicious. We had a fish appetizer, spaghetti with fish sauce, grilled sea bass and eel, accompanied by cooked vegetables and cardoons. Everything was truly delicious. For those who love the lagoon and simplicity, this is a place worth trying.

22/11/2025: This was a great find. It feels old world Italian. The service was prompt and attentive. The prices very reasonable and you felt like a local. I would definitely eat here again. Best of all, no cover charge.

22/11/2025: Located a bit away from the hustle and bustle, the staff were friendly... Unfortunately, the food wasn't satisfactory for us. The pizzas tasted like they were frozen... The pasta as a starter was okay... but nothing special either... Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement.

03/12/2025: The pizzas are pretty average. Not bad, but not great either. The last time I ordered a pizza, I noticed an ingredient was missing when I got home. I called and explained the problem. The lady told me not to worry, they'd remake the pizza and even deliver it to me free of charge. The delivery guy arrives, and guess what he brought me? The missing ingredient!!! They didn't even remake the pizza... and in the meantime, the one I had at home had become cold and inedible. Unprofessional, I'd say. I called back, and the same person who had answered before denied telling me they'd remake it... well, luckily my wife was there and heard everything. I said goodbye forever... if that's how you behave.

10/09/2025: We highly recommend everything. Breakfast was excellent. The staff found and returned our luggage. It was a pleasure to search for it, rather than having to forget about anyone's help once you're gone. I recommend it for families. It's close to the beach and other attractions, and the connection is good.

27/10/2025: Overall, it's a nice place, clean and well-maintained, run by staff who are always friendly but not very sociable and rarely smile. They offer a wide selection of sweet and savory food; prices are a bit higher than average. I've stopped going because, especially in the afternoon, the music is quite loud and makes conversation difficult.

23/09/2025: I go there very often, with my children or friends, as I have a disability and live in a nearby facility. I always find courtesy, excellent options, and good music. Recommended for everyone!
