08/12/2025: My husband and I were once again enchanted by Sara's courtesy, professionalism, and friendliness at Locanda Le Porte. The inn is like a second home to us, very welcoming; we always felt pampered. The rooms are tastefully furnished and attentive to their guests, the breakfasts are generous (Sara even asked us what we'd prefer!), and the dinner menu is truly interesting, from meat to fish, to vegetables (and wine). We also loved the fact that there's a dock for our boat. Thanks, Sara, we'll definitely see you again!

The place speaks for itself, and the atmosphere is welcoming and elegant, reminiscent of times gone by. This ancient inn on the outskirts is truly a magnificent place, managed with the utmost care.

04/09/2025: After a long time, I finally got around to trying your croissants, which are truly unique. Especially the whole wheat one, which is really good and soft. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.

02/12/2025: Spectacular! Who said breakfast in Venice was expensive? Top-quality espresso just a 2-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge. We were hungry and ordered both sweet and savory items... A focaccia and a croissant that they grilled... well, you have to see the photos! Price: 2 coffees - Ham and cheese croissant - Pastrami focaccia - Three-chocolate pastry - 2 bottles of mineral water ~ €21 We'll definitely be back!

26/10/2025: A lovely little restaurant on the quayside near San Marco. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The first courses are quite generous, and I really enjoyed the gnocchi with mussels and saffron.

08/11/2025: I'm judging my experience based on the one time I've been there... Quiet place, spacious table, helpful and fast staff... I tried their salmon tagliatelle, a respectable first course but not flawless in execution, and the sea bream was more than decent. The baked potatoes, on the other hand, were among the best I've ever eaten in my life... I'll be back.

30/10/2025: We went to Al Vecio Stampo and had a truly delicious meal. The fish was fresh and carefully cooked: the seafood spaghetti was rich and flavorful, the fried fish crispy and dry. The mixed grilled fish was also excellent, with generous portions and beautifully presented. Friendly and quick service, a simple yet welcoming atmosphere. A good selection of beers and various side dishes to accompany the meal. A restaurant that knows its stuff.

05/10/2025: I didn't have a chance to eat because we were passing by and looking for breakfast, but there are no tables or chairs, and unfortunately we needed to sit down due to temporary health issues. I looked inside carefully, and the pastries and brioches looked very varied and inviting. As soon as I get a chance, I'll try a few things.

28/11/2025: We went to this trattoria for dinner with some friends: the place is charming, with a typical Venetian atmosphere. We relied entirely on the host for our choice of dishes, who offered us a menu consisting of appetizers and two first courses. The quality of the dishes was good, with fresh ingredients. However, some appetizers were portions large enough to be shared between five people, making it impossible for everyone to sample every dish—a real shame. The service also left much to be desired: little attention was paid to explaining the dishes, rather long wait times, and little attention was paid to the table. In short, the cuisine was quality, but the portions were very limited and the final price was decidedly exorbitant. I hate to say it, but leaving the table feeling hungry after a dinner, despite having eaten high-quality products at a high price, is not something anyone likes.

28/11/2025: Fabulous meal - best we ate in Venice. It was a very quiet Monday in November but they still made the evening special. Delicious pasta, lamb, fish and the tiramisu is not to be missed! Excellent wine too.
