21/09/2025: A real surprise. Excellent, inventive dishes with superb service. A very good if pricey wine list. Romantic views. As good as some 1-star Michelin restos I've been to.

The incredibly welcoming staff knows how to put you at ease, making you feel part of a story that goes beyond just dinner. From the meticulously crafted presentation of the dishes to the quality of the ingredients, everything speaks of passion and incredible attention to detail. 24/08/2025: I've been to this osteria and, unfortunately, I have to say that the quality-price ratio wasn't convincing. We ordered two plates of mixed fried food and the bill came to €46 (€23 per plate). For a simple osteria, without any particular pretensions or refined atmosphere, it seems rather high compared to the average. The fried food was good but not exceptional, the portions were average and not particularly large. The service was courteous but basic. In short: the quality doesn't justify the cost. A place that presents itself as a "simple osteria" should keep prices more accessible and in line with tradition.

09/10/2025: Terrible service. I ordered an Hugo Spritz and it was terribly sweet. I only had one sip and told our server, Alina, that I did not like it and to please take it back. The check came and they charged it, even though I returned basically the whole thing. I talked to Alina, our server, and she said that they didn’t care that they already had made the drink and it wasn’t their problem that it was too sweet. Terrible service, terrible drinks, and yeah, it will never be in our “Lista” of places in Venezia. Oh! And they charged €6 for an Americano. Horribly overpriced as well. Skip it if you can when in Venezia.

27/09/2025: Every summer we get excellent pizza by the slice. Constant turnover ensures freshness. The price is also excellent.

23/09/2025: The regular pizza is delicious. They don't make round pizzas, they make giant square ones and cut them to the size you want. You have to pay by weight. The crowd is huge. The service is slow. The gluten-free pizza dough is not good... The toppings are very tasty, but the gluten-free dough is not the real thing. There are better places elsewhere.

24/10/2025: My second visit. Was as excellent as my first. Food was exceptional.

23/10/2025: Our server alex was really polite and attentive. I was surprised to be served another bowl of bread when we were done with our first bowl as its the first time in italy we got a second bowl of bread. They also served us a small appetiser prawn with cream which i had with my bread. The shin veal risotto was also nice and at the end of the meal they even provided a mini ice cream with some biscuits! :D

22/05/2025: Prob one of the best croissants I’ve had ever. It was warm and slightly sweet from the brioche dough. I’m def going to go again tomorrow before we leave Venice bc it was that good. I highly recommend it!

24/08/2025: Too bad: the restaurant was listed as open on Google, but once I arrived (after walking more than a kilometer), I discovered it was closed for vacation. Updating the hours online would have been enough to avoid the inconvenience. I recommend paying more attention to this information in 2025, because many customers trust what they find on Google.

17/09/2025: Excellent! Everything was good and high-quality. Generous portions, very fair price. I really appreciated that, since we had leftover main course and side dish, they packaged it in a sealed container, ready to heat in the microwave. Highly recommended!!!
