05/06/2026: This Gelato spot is fire 🔥 It was quick and easy to order. You have the cup options as well as the cone. Plenty of gelato to choose from. I got Pistachio and my wife got the vanilla. Great spot for a treat.

27/05/2026: Over the years, we have tried many of the city's famous and trendy gelaterias, but this simple little takeaway place remains one of our favourites. It may not look special, but the quality of the gelato is outstanding. The pistachio flavour is exceptional—rich, creamy, and unforgettable. The strawberry is equally excellent: fresh, balanced, and not overly sweet. Tip: don't worry if Google Maps says it's already closed. During our stay, Igloo was often open a little longer than the official opening hours.

22/03/2026: A restaurant in the center of town with a beautiful view of the harbor. The staff and owner were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The pizza was truly delicious, as were the desserts. Truly authentic flavors, you can taste the passion and high quality. Highly recommended, I can't wait to go back 🍕

13/07/2026: On a quiet piazza in residential Dorsoduro you'll find this unassuming restaurant that those in the know seek out. Sardinian-born Luigi Secchi combines his heritage with the produce and traditions of Venice in a short, regularly-changing menu that sees pane frattau (Sardinian ‘lasagne’ made with carta di musica flatbread) sit alongside excellent fegato alla Veneziana (Venetian-style liver). A complimentary vegetable broth starter (made with produce from the Osti in Orto project on Sant'Erasmo) was light and tasty and a generous serve of freshly sliced Prosciutto San Daniele was delicious. House made rustic pasta is chewy and satisfying. A dessert of gorgonzola semifreddo with pear conserve and pink peppercorns is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The interior is rustic with wooden tables and benches, the service cheeky (in a good way). Great value, comfortable restaurant that's off the tourist trail.

12/07/2026: We had the sardines starter which was tasty but not the best we've had in Venice. My wife had the fish of the day which she said was good. It was a white fish with some carrots. I had the mixed fried fish which was a total let down. The calamari and octopus heads were so tough and over cooked it really ruined my dish. The 2 prawns were ok and the 4 small pieces of fish were nice. Bill came to around €85 with a bottle of sparkling water. Waiter was friendly and provided good service.

21/05/2026: A truly splendid vegan restaurant in Venice. In a quiet and welcoming setting, La Tecia Vegana offers truly excellent, entirely vegan cuisine. For me, as a vegetarian, it's been years since I've eaten something so tasty at a vegan restaurant. The flavors are traditional, yet free of animal ingredients. The service is excellent, the atmosphere super relaxed. The prices are average. I'd love to return. 🤍

01/07/2026: We booked an Airbnb right next door, so we wanted to try this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised: an employee who spoke French, fast and impeccable service, a great atmosphere, and excellent beers and food! Perfect 👌

28/06/2026: Great place! Mostly craft beers to pair with paninis, sandwiches, bruschetta, pizzas, burgers, and even pasta dishes. Prices are quite reasonable. Limoncello is offered at the end, and finally, something SACROSANCT: ZERO EURO COVER CHARGE! This alone is worth 5 stars!

05/05/2026: We were looking for a good restaurant that was open during the off-season. We stumbled upon San Marco by chance. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Incredibly good food, great service, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. A top recommendation in Bibione.

03/05/2026: Very nice food, kid friendly, nice staff. Opened till late, which worked for us as we arrived at Bibione quite late. Bit limited selection for kids, but if your kid love bolognese pasta you good :)

10/06/2026: Excellent restaurant specializing in fish (but also meat for those who prefer), spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a beautiful tree-lined garden. Fast and very helpful service. If you're passing through Caorle, it's worth a visit.

08/10/2025: We stayed at the Palace Spa Hotel as a couple. It was wonderful; you feel like you're in the best hands. The entire staff was super friendly; there was nothing to complain about. But one thing: We'll be back next year, and that's taking too long. Best wishes to all

17/05/2026: We were finishing our game around 1:30 AM. Despite knowing the time, the employee on duty abruptly interrupted us with only three shots remaining, using a decidedly vulgar and offensive dialect to rudely shoo us away. ​Ugly and completely rude language. We even tried to engage in a civilized dialogue with her, but she continued to dismiss us arrogantly, exclaiming that we were "too young to understand." ​I've been working directly with the public for four years (as a bartender, waiter, and in a pizzeria) and I know exactly how to behave with customers: whoever was on duty that evening should definitely learn the basics of politeness and professionalism. ​In conclusion: The facility and the experience itself are great, but the staff's utter rudeness ruins everything. Terrible service.

16/06/2026: We had dinner here with the family and were truly delighted. I ordered the Mega Scoglio, which I highly recommend: fresh, plentiful, and truly delicious. All the other dishes we tried were also very tasty and carefully prepared. The service was authentic, friendly, and attentive, making us feel immediately at ease. The location is spectacular, we ate right next to the canal, and the staff was really helpful and attentive (I think it was the owner who looked after us). The food was really good, and the service was quick, even though the place was busy. We were really happy, and I definitely recommend it.
