01/09/2025: The prices don't match the quality and quantity. Dinner for three cost over 200 euros, and everyone left hungry. The mixed grilled fish was a scam. Everything smelled like grilling kindling. The staff barely spoke English. I'm giving it 3 stars only for the delicious canola and frozen torte.

08/11/2025: Luckily, it's far from the tourist crowds. That would be ruined. It's a traditional trattoria, unlike anything you've seen anymore. The perfola is exceptional in the shoulder seasons. They use truly freshly caught fish, and you can taste it. The pasta alla malamocchina is a must-try. Don't spread the word to tourists.

04/11/2025: Best place we have been at in Venice. Very friendly staff and the food is great. Went there on our first day to grab lunch after a long day of travel and we loved it. Went back on our last evening, since none of the other places came close to the service or quality of food. There is an older gentleman working the service in the evening, speaks several languages and takes time to explain everything for you. The place feels like family. Thank you. Also, they do not charge the tourist tax.

31/10/2025: Trattoria Alle Burchielle: An unforgettable, authentic Italian experience! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a warm atmosphere and exceptional service, especially from the wonderful Khadija (or Katie), who was incredibly polite and professional. Her demeanor added a lovely touch to the place. Our order: Grilled Fish: Very fresh, perfectly cooked, and with well-balanced flavors. Garlic Shrimp: Rich and fragrant, the sauce was light, but the taste and flavor were in every bite. Shrimp Spaghetti: A phenomenal dish! The spaghetti was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp was fresh and seasoned with an artistic touch. Our bill was €61. The place is simple yet elegant, quiet and comfortable, perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxing break after a long day of sightseeing. The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality and delicious taste. In conclusion: Excellent service + delicious dishes + pleasant atmosphere. A truly 5-star experience. I highly recommend it, especially for lovers of authentic Italian seafood.

03/08/2025: July 2025. Great restaurant. Delicious food, reasonable prices (the same as other restaurants), and very friendly service. We decided to dine there every day.

26/06/2025: We ordered spaghetti carbonara and the beef carpaccio was divine.

29/10/2025: We are very disappointed by the service. We checked one day in advance if we can come to eat and drink and they said “yes we are open”. So we cycled with kids more than 20 km to find out that the place is fully booked. They did not even allow us to sit inside as they were still waiting for guests. They said that we could wait (after a long conversation the waitress said maybe half an hour), but no guest had any meal on their table so i doubted we could have food sometimes soon. A suggestion - if you expect us to book your place then say “yes, please come, for how many and for what time shall we book your table?” This would help everybody involved. Luckily we found a lovely homely place 4 km back (Osteria dal Pupi), enjoyed the food and the hospitality immensely! So we are glad we did not stay.

29/10/2025: We returned on Monday to eat at this beautiful little restaurant, and as always, we had a wonderful meal. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and cheerful...everything needed to make this place truly enjoyable. We highly recommend it.

15/10/2025: Following a walking tour of Dorsoduro our guide advised us to head to Campo Santa Margerita for food. Was walking by this place, which seemed lively and busy. Lots of locals chilling but also workers/students in and out for meal/pasta of the day. Ordered pomodoro, cabonara pasta and salad. All good and tasty portions, for the price. Coffee was spot on. Service was attentive when required and for how busy the place was. Bonus if you like 80s music. Good local atmosphere and relaxed vibe.
