28/03/2025: We chose to have lunch here, after taking a look at the restaurant's offer. We tried the appetizer consisting of creamed cod, boiled octopus and sardines in saor. Unfortunately we found the cod to have a strange and unpleasant taste, so much so that I wasn't able to eat it and the head of the octopus was dirty (a shame because it was excellent and very soft!). We communicated this to the staff and were told that the cod was fine as it was and the baby octopus was better if served with the offal. Alas, it will be a matter of taste. Other than that, the sardines were excellent. We then had spaghetti with clams and bigoli in sauce, tasty seasoning and excellent quality fresh pasta. Despite the inconvenience of the starter, I would return to try the rest of the menu, as it offers traditional dishes. Excellent quality/price ratio, even if I would have halved the cost of the starter, working in catering, I know how important it is to recognize any errors during a service.

07/04/2025: Casi me lo pierdo. Paseé por ella ya que las calles están una encima de la otra. El personal era servicial y agradable, la comida se sirvió en una cantidad decente de tiempo. Probé el pulpo a la parrilla y verduras, y una pizza salami. La comida tenía sabor, y se cocinaba bien.

05/04/2025: It's not bad, don't expect great luxuries but the service is pleasant, the food is acceptable and the location is very good, get lost in the streets of the area and then have dinner here, it will surely be a good plan

09/04/2025: There was a Turco pizza that started with V, we bought it. We really liked the ingredients etc. It was very delicious. You can also buy your wine from the nearby spar market and sit and eat by the canal.

05/01/2025: Il ristorante era piuttosto affollato, ma il capo ci ha fatto accomodare. Siccome non sapevamo l'italiano (e lui non sapeva nemmeno l'inglese), chiamò un cameriere, che ci offrì dell'ottimo vino, che accettammo. Sarebbe seguita l'ordinazione del cibo, quando la signora ha annunciato che eravamo suoi ospiti, cioè lo eravamo, perché ha ritirato il menu e ci ha chiesto di lasciare il ristorante. Non è stata pronunciata una parola forte o scortese (da parte nostra). Io e la mia famiglia siamo sconcertati da quanto accaduto.

22/03/2025: I always heard that in order ro eat a great meal to wander off the beaten path - well, this place is literally that and wonderful! We had great food & great service — could not ask for better for my family of four. We each had a different pasta dish and everything tasted authentic, served hot, and good value for our money. Service was excellent. We visited on Saturday night & there was a solo musician who was very good & not loud at all. Perfect experience!

22/04/2025: Sure, it’s a tight squeeze and a bit of a wait but it’s well worth it!! We felt like we’d been invited into Andreas home for a personal meal. There’s nothing like it in Venice (maybe ven Italy) AND the food is tip top! I’d guess he serves only a handful of people per night. We made our reservation 1 month in advance - not sure if this is necessary. But I’d say it’s worth making sure you have a meal here if you’re coming to Venice!

19/04/2025: If I get to get wed in 2005😁 it will definitely be this great place . Good setting, amazing garden, unique architecture and welcoming staff. I will be back for the wedding of my nephew in a week and I hope to see miracles. I definitely recommend this paradise on earth
