19/11/2025: Worst cafe I ever went to. I paid 6€ for a supermarket tea bag and some hot water. When I asked for the menu at the beginning, he didn’t have one: we only know the price of alcoholic drinks !!
My friend paid 5€ for a coke.
The guy kept smiling at me hypocritically when i tried to address the issue: I paid the same price as my friend who ordered an Aperol Spritz. We weren’t even well welcomed at the beginning. They were trying to justify the price by comparing it to other cities, as if we didn’t find cheaper and better cafes in Venice. Don’t go there.
11/11/2025: Yesterday evening, after a long day on my feet, I wanted to sit down for a drink, but I was immediately chased away because I wasn't allowed to sit alone at a table for four. The place wasn't even half full! I was told I had to sit against the wall on an uncomfortable bench. When I asked if I could at least have a chair, I was told no. I've never experienced anything like it; I left.

23/06/2025: Estábamos deseando este restaurante como se había recomendado. La comida estaba bien, el ambiente, no tan bueno y luego llegó la factura. El propietario masculino trató de aconsejar que el servicio no estaba incluido, pero era descaradamente (servico 12 %). En general, se sentía como si estuviera visitando al publicista en Los Miserables!
Si te gustan los musicales, visita. De lo contrario, evita.

Abbiamo cenato con tre fritti pesantissimi che ci hanno disturbato tutta la notte. Una ribolla di scarsa qualità e infine dolcetti secchi senza né infamia né lode. Ci aveva consigliato questo locale un amico ma forse era un po' che non lo frequentava.un conto esagerato

01/12/2025: A very welcoming and quality place. The cicchetti are really good, the bread is soft, and the toppings are excellent, with a wide variety of flavors. They're also served hot and reasonably priced. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

20/07/2025: You can forget about it completely. The meal came with pre-baked rolls. I've never had such a lackluster tomato and mozzarella salad at home, not to mention the bruschetta. The pasta was apparently from a convenience store, and that's exactly what it tasted like. The risotto was the worst thing I've ever eaten. And it wasn't cheap for convenience store food.

26/10/2025: It's expensive, yes, but you're paying for the view, the venue, and the musicians.
€14 for a Coke.
€23 for an Irish coffee, but it was good.
Impeccable service.
However, I can't see myself eating there.

03/06/2025: Nos detuvimos aquí mientras exploramos la zona cerca del Palacio Ducal y fue un placer perfecto. La tienda es encantadora y acogedora, y el helado fue uno de los mejores que tuvimos durante nuestro viaje. Cada cono fue servido generosamente, y cada sabor que probamos fue rico y cremoso. Fue una experiencia divertida para toda nuestra familia, y apreciamos especialmente lo fácil que fue navegar por el menú. Una pequeña parada genial si estás en la zona y necesitas un descanso fresco del calor.

Seafood options were good.
Cuttle fish wasn’t really up to the avoid. Best to avoid.
The tiramisu was outstanding.. a must try.

02/09/2025: I remembered it being very different from how it is now. Starting with the menu, under the previous management they offered more variety, especially in the side dishes for sandwiches. It seems unthinkable to me that a restaurant with the "dessert" name would only offer packet ice cream.
The food wasn't bad, it was just that the selection was limited and nothing exceptional.
I really enjoyed it the previous times, but it's a shame that the new management has made it so bad. I also see no reason to be so high in the prices.
