30/10/2025: Hostaria Galileo offers average cuisine typical of the touristy parts of Venice, nothing special, the food won't offend, but it won't impress either. Online reviews are mixed, people either praise the place or criticize it for its quality and service. I wasn't impressed by the Pinot Grigio and for the extra €3 for a couvert and €3.50 for an espresso, I expected a bit more (this put me off more than the food itself). I would definitely recommend having lunch here if you're passing by, but if you're looking for better value for money, look for a restaurant in another part of town.

06/11/2025: I tried this restaurant in November while I was on a business trip to Bibione. It's a restaurant I've never considered when I come on vacation because it's a bit out of my usual area. I had baby octopus with polenta and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dish: delicious and very filling. Prices were reasonable. The waiter was very kind; I'll definitely be back again.

It tastes good too
Above all, the bathroom was very clean.
Instead, it's ridiculously expensive.

we decided to stop at the Prebateo restaurant in Venice, but we immediately regretted it. The place was in disastrous hygienic conditions: cobwebs (with spiders) and dust everywhere, with unsafe cables above our heads - a real danger.
The pizzas were obviously frozen, hard and tasteless, really disappointing. A friend of ours ordered a grilled fillet of meat: a tiny square, 5 cm by 5 cm, paid a whopping €20... an absurd price for such a ridiculous portion.
To conclude, at the time of the bill there were suspicious roundings: they made us pay €2 more without any justification, inflating the figures incorrectly.
Absolutely not recommended. Dirty place, mediocre food and poor honesty in prices.

04/05/2025: Mi aspettavo molto di più sopra tutto vedendo i prezzi. Gelato cremoso ma deludente nel gusto, anonimo e senza personalità. Non dubito sugli ingredienti ma se manca il gusto. Provato torrone, malaga, cioccolato bianco, biscotto tutto anonimo. Costi troppo alti per il prodotto, si trova di meglio a meno.
22/04/2025: grade delusione - posto anche bello in villa, ma quando ho visto il mio cono due palline da 4,40€ !! più piccolo di una pallina in un gelateria normale mi ha gia messo in brutta predisposizione , poi peggiorata ulteriormente dai gusti - torroncino loro specialità deludente . non sapeva da nulla , in piu il gelato si percepiva una componente di acqua troppo invadente , per fortuna ho preso cioccolata fondente , pensavo , ancora peggio . sembrava un nocciola come colore e sapore debole - finiamo in bellezza con la cialda del cono che si rompeva . .. tutto sbagliato - mancava che piovesse e facevo 100 - non vedranno piu miei soldi - evitate se potete

18/10/2025: The pizza at "Da Alessio" is good, but the delivery service is terrible. We've ordered several times, and they're always at least 20 minutes late.
The most annoying thing is that they blame the delivery guys. They always claim the pizzas have already left or that the delivery guy got lost, but when they arrive, they're freshly baked and piping hot.
15/10/2025: Consistently late
Every time I find myself waiting outside the pizzeria, even though I called ahead to make a reservation.
I've never arrived at the agreed-upon time and found the pizzas ALMOST ready, never.

The service is lacking, or at least it was lacking in the service I received, with little enthusiasm and in a rush. I ordered a white chocolate with cream and was served a glass of milk with a chocolate aftertaste and the cream in a small glass on the side… As if I went to a delicatessen and they served me bread with cold cuts on the side.

05/09/2025: I'm giving it a 1 because it's the best. Terrible food: spaghetti with squid ink that tasted like oil. Cuttlefish was extremely salty and inedible. A bottle of still water was €6!!!!! We asked for bread to accompany our main course, but guess what, it wasn't included and we were charged €2.50 on the receipt—obviously, no one had mentioned this.
Plus, there's a 12% service charge (10% VAT).
I'm attaching a photo of the receipt because it's unbelievable.

27/04/2025: Es un lugar encantador junto al agua para cenar y ver la puesta de sol. Elegimos el restaurante por sus opciones de gluten. El camarero estaba muy bien informado y nos habló a través de las muchas opciones. Están muy acertados con los requisitos dietéticos y tienen tres tipos diferentes de mozzarella (regular, sin lactosa y vegana). El vino de la casa era muy agradable. Experiencia encantadora.
