21/08/2025: Average food...truthfully...but the service is quite discriminatory...they have a menu for tourists...but if you are Italian it is special for them...my husband ordered a "Milanese" for the 2nd course, which was a chicken breast as thin as a slice of ham...but it just so happens that the table next to us who were Italian had a normal-sized Milanese...so if you don't want to be taken for a ride at all, I recommend eating here.

12/08/2025: This is a tourist trap, as most of the restaurants in Venice, especially close to the train station. I had a lunch here because i wasn’t able to move too far at that time. The prices are quite high but compared with other restaurants is okay. I had a lasagna, nothing special but okay. Maybe the portion could had be bigger.

23/08/2025: Overpriced restaurant, thats only redeeming factor is it's location. Food was ok, but terrible for the price they are charging, 44 euros for undercooked pasta, and a bland Bolognese. In Italy everywhere cooks pasta perfectly, but when they are charging double the price they clearly can't. Service is all show, 4 staff passed us when waiting for a table but only one person could seemingly seat us, I asked for a beer and then the person walked away, I assumed to get drinks, but just came back with a menu and I never got my beer. It wasn't for lack of being specific either as they only have 1 beer in the menu. We were never asked if we wanted drinks again.

08/09/2025: Pros: - No queue to order. Served immediately. - Wide choice of ice cream and varied cones/cups and sizes. - Great tasting ice cream. Cons: - None for ice cream visit.

21/08/2025: Don’t eat here! The pictures on the menu are not what you get and the food it not great and very expensive. We ordered these 3 square waffles and got 2 small round Belgian waffles that were horrible. Then they called me names in Italian as I left.

23/08/2025: Nice decor (admittedly a bit cramped). Space-wise, it's suitable for couples or small families (children have toys nearby). Good coffee and pastries. For an aperitif, ask for chips. Relaxing music. They don't offer table service, but I think that's better (the kiosks that do offer table service take forever). They ALWAYS issue a receipt. Friendly, smiling staff.

20/07/2025: The kiosk is located along the beach walk. The service is poor; there's no table service, and they don't clear tables very quickly. The quality of the food is unfortunately poor. We ordered toast, and the bread was stringy and stale. Only positive note: the prices are in line with the quality of the food. I hope this was just a temporary debacle. I don't recommend it.

29/09/2025: The worst bar I've ever set foot in in Venice. Weird and rude staff, insane prices (a Coke for €5) that even the Hilton wouldn't charge. I'll definitely stay away from here on out.

18/09/2025: I often stop by Roma and have always had a good experience. Today I stopped by for breakfast with a friend and our dog, and we had a rather unpleasant experience: we waited over 20 minutes in the heat before ordering, and the waitress was quite inattentive and rude. I understand the small number of people working in a bar, and I understand all the difficulties, but despite that, we didn't quite get the rudeness and lack of friendliness. Finally, I'll add that I had ordered a small bottle of water with a plastic cup for the dog, and we had to wait another 30 minutes.

13/09/2025: Visited Portogruaro and felt like a coffee. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. The café was quiet, and service was very quick. The cups were very clean and spotless. The coffee tasted perfectly intense, and the temperature was expertly adjusted to the type of coffee. The young man at the counter was very friendly and had a smile on his face. The coffee was prepared very quickly. The restrooms were very hygienic and clean. Keep up the good work!

10/09/2025: Worst hotel in the world So upset. Arrived really late and room door didn’t lock so had to have chair propped up against it. Bath was an old jacuzzi. Shower head height was up to my shoulders! Shower curtain was filthy. View was good. Shame - the room wrecked everything- my husband and I got so ill. Got insect bites everywhere hot and itchy and eye swelled up, fever, sick. Given antibiotics. and when I came to hospital doctor said it was bed bugs. Worst case of bed bugs he’s seen. Prescribed us both antibiotics and told me to keep an eye on the insect bites in case it goes black as this is more serious. Disgusted. Should have slept on the streets!

09/09/2025: Didn't like the room they gave me. It was outside the building in some alley, but it was okay for one night

04/10/2025: Don't eat here. We pay 55 euros only for pasta and drink. We checked our bill that it has included tip for Romeo? + service charge. I mean, it's okay to spend even more than this if the restaurant and staff are nice and accommodating. This is worst. Don't try to eat here.

17/08/2025: At rush hour it's hard to stay there but otherwise everything is excellent. I ordered a hot cappuccino without foam with 37 degrees of heat and the lady prepared it for me as I requested. I like it hot and I can never get it quick.

03/07/2025: My partner and I entrusted the wedding cake to Pasticceria Nordio. What can I say, a guarantee! A simple explanation of what we wanted was enough and we immediately understood each other. The result? An amazing wedding cake, exactly how we had imagined it, which received a lot of compliments from all the guests. If you want a commercial cake, pay a commercial price. If you pay the right amount you get quality. Silvano, the pastry chef, is great!!!!

03/08/2025: Wein verkauft, der nicht auf der Karte war und 3mal zu teuer. Der erste Vorschlag war ungeniessbar und eine andere Weintraube. Abzocker, daher aufpassen. Pizza war ok. Aber insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert.

09/10/2025: On Saturday, October 4, 2025, I went to the "Al Theatro" pastry shop to buy two desserts. A focaccia I'd called about and the pastry chef had told me he'd put it away, and a cake for my birthday. The clerk didn't know there was a focaccia reserved for me, but luckily there were others on display. (The price was printed on the package.) For the cake, however, the display was completely devoid of prices. The lady then asked her colleagues if the price was €34.00 or €40.00 per kg (how could she not know?). She told me the price was €29.20, and immediately after that €30.00 (rounded down). I pointed out that the price was €29.20, and when paying, she "counted" €29.50... how poor. Displaying prices is mandatory, and the clerk was truly rude. Too bad...because for me the quality of the pastry is very good.

11/09/2025: In Venice, Saturday afternoon: the options were to have coffee standing up in some places (without tables) or go to Starbucks. We went here and not only found a great atmosphere and a table, but we also enjoyed a snack, and they helped me by lighting candles for it since it was my husband's birthday. I'd seen some reviews saying it was expensive—is there anything cheap in Venice? At least I feel like we found a decent, authentic place, compared to Starbucks...
