I migliori ristoranti in Venezia

14/07/2025: Non rispondono mai al telefono (provato una decina di volte alle ore di apertura). Siamo riusciti a prenotare solo tramite il personale dell’hotel che ci avrebbe ospitato!). Menù sulla carta abbastanza essenziale e piatti certo non all’altezza delle recensioni. Queste fatte molto probabilmente dagli abitue’ ai quali (vicino a noi) il personale proponeva piatti non compresi nel menù che ci era stato dato. Atteggiamento non particolarmente accogliente. Insomma lasciatelo alla loro clientela che forse è quello che vogliono! Al lido c’è sicuramente di meglio!

22/10/2025: A delicious pizza with fresh ingredients, light dough with good leavening. Compliments to the pizza chef, I haven't tried home delivery yet, but I will. Compliments to the staff, it was a great experience.

02/01/2026: Nice hotel, even if it's a bit old. Avoid the downstairs room, number 007; it's very noisy. It's located right next to the elevator and the kitchens, restaurant, and breakfast room. Impossible to get any rest—voices, chairs, dishes...! A shame, because otherwise the hotel is well located.

29/05/2025: After a week of travelling and eating some amazing food, I thought we'd leave on a high on beautiful Mazzorbo, rejuvenated in part due to Michelin starred Venissa and it's slightly more affordable Osteria. Let's get it out of the way - the location is incredible, with the open dining room being an exceptional way to enjoy view of the vineyard and Chiesa. We chose the Osteria, as it being our last night, we couldn't necessarily splash out on the main restaurant's menu. We also hoped a more relaxed atmosphere would make a nice change in busy Venice. While this was all true, it just led to the most disappointing meal of the trip. The food on the taster menu was various levels of 'fine'; while all locally sourced and fresh, everything tasted under seasoned and, in some cases, bland. Even my favourite dish, the main fish, was more appealing for variety and quantity than flavour. The dessert was also a damp conclusion, a simple meringue dish, which was a bit one note. The wine pairing also disappointed as the flavour of the food wasn't strong enough to interact, and vermouth as a final glass was wild. Service could have greatly improved our opinion but it existed in a strange middle-ground between fine dining (explaining the food and wine pairing) and poor table service (two staff, overworked and dismissive). We even started finding reasons to be annoyed by the end (other diners definitely got more from their wine pairing than us), such was our sour mood. All in all, wouldn't suggest making the journey and spending what was a lot for not much.

14/12/2025: Never again did I wait an hour for two pizzas.... They delivered them first to those who arrived after me, only after asking how much longer they still had, perhaps they remembered I was right in front of them.... The Kamut pizza is forgettable; the regular one would have been fine.

07/01/2026: Traditional restaurant in the city, very popular with Italians and locals. The space isn't very large, but it can be considered a well-organized baccaro. You can order cicchetti at the counter or sit at one of the tables for a more elaborate meal. Reservations are recommended. Very friendly and kind service. The menu features the best of Venetian cuisine. Start with the house specialty, the polpettas (individual portions) and the buttered cod (served with soft polenta, ideal for sharing). For the main course, try the spaghetti with clams or the excellent vegetarian lasagna. Good wine list, with good regional labels. Don't forget to order dessert: try the biscuits with sweet wine or the panna cotta. Good value for money. Well worth a visit!

06/01/2026: The food is mediocre, but the real problem is the welcome. The staff at the counter are unfriendly and cold and sullen. An experience that, unfortunately, puts us off returning.

17/01/2026: EXPENSIVE and ARROGANT I'm giving one star because -1 isn't possible! We ordered two takeout pizzas on January 15, 2026 (diavole with fries) and were charged €23. When we got home, we noticed that the fries were half raw and that the pizzas were stuck to the cardboard. We called to report this, given the price, and in a very arrogant and rude manner, they replied that they hadn't seen the pizzas and that their prices were below average. The same pizzas ordered in the square in Mirano cost €18. Given the arrogance and rudeness, I will never set foot in this pizzeria again!!!

04/01/2026: This historic, excellent restaurant in Spinea offers excellent pizza as well as a wide selection of meat and fish dishes that never disappoint. Service is impeccable, both in terms of courtesy and speed. The ambiance is rustic, with extensive use of wood, a touch 1980s in style, but ultimately welcoming and pleasant.
