22/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view of the hills! The menu is extensive, offering platters of cured meats, cheeses, mixed platters, meatballs, and cicchetti (no first or second courses). Desserts are also available. There's also a wide selection of drinks, including wine, beer, appetizers, and soft drinks. Everything is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable: platters €16, soft drinks €3.50, Americano €6, cicchetti €2.50. Reservations are recommended.

10/10/2025: A simple, family-friendly atmosphere, excellent service from Paolo, and a feeling of being at a friend's house. Excellent food, cooked using traditional Venetian recipes. Each day, you choose your dish based on the daily specials; there's no set menu.

04/10/2025: I arrive, sit down, and order a main course of mixed Vicenza-style cod, creamed with polenta and green beans on the side. Not even a minute after I've been sitting down, my plate arrives. It had obviously been ready for a while. The cod was completely tasteless, two slices of cold, almost inedible polenta, and the green beans were average. For just one main course + side dish, water, and coffee, I pay €13, which isn't cheap. I don't think I'll ever go back.

09/11/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ We visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The service was very slow: about 45 minutes between arrival and the first course. The lasagna had no béchamel sauce, the pasta was undercooked, and the white meat ragù tasted like it was made with leftovers. I had to ask for bread and ask for the second course. The cod was small, bland, and served on a small plate with a slice of flavorless polenta. The zuppa inglese, served in a glass, was just pudding with too much rum that covered every flavor.

29/05/2025: The Antica Trattoria Bertolini in Padua enjoys a pleasant and well-kept location: a clean environment, well-arranged tables and an atmosphere that promises a peaceful lunch break. Too bad that the overall experience is irremediably ruined by the attitude of the staff that to call rude is an understatement. Already at the time of ordering, the incomprehensible presence of a trolley with cooked and raw vegetables in the room leaves room for doubt: will they be available or are they there for show? When I asked for a simple mixed salad - a more than reasonable request for a lunch break - the waiter's reaction was that of someone who has just received a personal insult. Grumbling, impatient looks and the clarification, almost with contempt, that "we don't put anything like tuna or other things in it". Don't worry, we won't even ask you to dress it with edible gold. But the real cult moment took place at the cash register: asking for a separate bill unleashed a management apocalypse. “This is how you’re going to close me down, I’ve never seen anything like this,” we were told in an accusatory tone. I’ve never seen such a disproportionate reaction, one might say. 15 euros for a bowl of vegetables, water and coffee. Not even in the most pretentious bistro in the centre of Milan, where at least they serve you vegetables with a smile and a protein of your choice. A real wasted opportunity: it wouldn’t take much to make the service up to the context, but evidently kindness isn’t on the menu. Too bad, because with a different welcome we would have returned. Instead… yes, we will definitely return (believe it), and it will be my personal commitment to warmly recommend it to friends and family… to avoid it. 🤣
