23/06/2025: It is not very easy to review this place as I am not able to classify it well, whether it is a sandwich bar, a bar with a small pastry shop, a place for a quick lunch and small kitchen, or all 3 things (perhaps the most likely) together. Having said that, I would like to point out that it is located in an area accessible only by crossing a ZTL area of ​​Padua, where only bicycles and motorcycles or those entitled to it (very few) can circulate. The place, being in the square area, is well-kept, modern inside, all tables for 2 people and a high table in front of the counter for a quick aperitif, let's say. On the outside, unfortunately, parking even a motorbike is a miracle if not leaving it in the area at risk of a fine from the municipal police and I find that externally it is also difficult to recognise for those like me, who were going there for the first time, as you can see from the photo I am posting, the green awning has disappeared which can be found on Google with the name of the place and so if you don't know it, you have to search carefully to find in the right corner of the place inside but facing the road a sort of recognition sign with Da Prette written on it. I challenge you to see the sign. That said, I ask for the menu and I am "advised" to look at it from the QR code on a small "totem" on the table, there are 2, one in English and one in Italian, be careful not to get it wrong because on the opposite side there is a third QR code that takes you to download the app, perhaps as in my case not necessary. English: Well, I start looking at the menu which I find quite chaotic, first the pastries, then all types of drinks with special milks similar to smoothies I don't know exactly why I'm not a fan of these modern drinks, then I find other things I think they are salads and only after asking the young lady what was off she points out to me that the menu continues going down quite a bit, (my oversight) it also offers first courses and hot panzerotti, well, I quickly choose the burrata, chopped pistachios and mortadella and wait... fast service in 5 minutes maximum they give me the plate with some rustic potatoes as cut but fried, a bit of rocket mixed with salad and the panzerotto, of which the bread is good, unfortunately the filling has a lot of "work" 2 slices of mortadella in total and maybe half a burrata of the small ones, the chopped pistachios practically I can't find it except for a couple of pieces at the end, there must have been very little because under your teeth it wouldn't escape if there had been, so it didn't arrive, oh well, not much given that it costs around €9.00 if I'm not mistaken, the flavour of the filling is good but the filling itself is poor, the best thing is the bread in the wrapper, the panzerotto itself, in short, with a 33cl Coke Zero bottle I spend €13.90.... high price in my opinion given the very poor content of the panzerotto and the 7 chips in number on the plate and with a tuft of green... I also went to try the pastry shop which from the photos on the internet seemed to be a MUST... but on the counter there were 3 almond croissants, 2 pieces of a similar swirl and another thing that honestly given the small size didn't excite me, giving me the effect this is what was left... as always I recommend either changing the photos on the restaurant's website or updating the window which wasn't even a quarter of what was shown on their website, so it's misleading advertising... honestly the quality/price/quantity ratio is poor, the rest of the reason for not returning is the difficulty of parking and the possibility of going there only in the summer period in which I use the motorbike... unfortunately the "piazze area" is increasingly rich in these realities that I call, many branches and little grapes... I'm sorry but you're failed!

17/05/2025: Really good food. There were 5 of us and we tried various different dishes. The staff was kind and helpful even when it was packed. The place is a bit dated but clean and welcoming. We will gladly return, perhaps for lunch/dinner under the splendid pergola.

17/03/2025: Davvero ottimo 👌🏻 il Ristorante alla Botta, bella struttura che abbiamo scelto e provato di recente in occasione di una piccola festa di compleanno 🎂. Giunti in loco sulle 20.50 previa prenotazione 📞, tra l'altro con venti minuti di ritardo, abbiamo trovato il parcheggio 🅿️ pieno (a proposito, un ringraziamento al cafone con la BMW familiare che, parcheggiando letteralmente "con i piedi" 🦶🏻, ha occupato tre posti) lasciando quindi la macchina 🚘 presso un vicino piazzale. Una volta all'interno siamo stati cordialmente accolti dal titolare 👨🏻‍🦳 e da un cameriere 🧑🏻‍🦱, con quest'ultimo che ci ha subito accompagnati al nostro tavolo (il n. 10). Sfogliando il listino 📋 siamo stati attratti (e pure indirizzati da una commensale 👩🏻 che già conosceva la struttura) dal "Piatto Degustazione" di pesce, per il quale abbiamo infatti optato congiuntamente alle sarde in saor, ai canestrelli e al folpo 🐙 con patate 🥔. A completare l'ordinazione anche un litro d'acqua 💧 frizzante, mezzo di vino bianco fermo 🥂 e, a fine pasto, dolci (torta alla nocciola con crema/frutti di bosco 🫐, torta alla ricotta/gocce di cioccolato e sorbetto al limone 🍋), un orzo e un caffè ☕️. Tutto veramente squisito 😋 e servito in tempi brevi dai gentili ragazzi/e dello staff. Degno di nota, effettivamente, il "Piatto Degustazione", comprensivo di vari cicchetti serviti in apposite ciotoline 🥣; la portata prevedeva crostini con salsa tonnata, crostini con burro 🧈/salmone, calamaretti fritti con polenta, spezzatino di tonno con polenta, piovra con patate 🥔 e catalana di gamberi 🍤, il tutto nel nostro caso ordinato per tre persone. Valido anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo dal momento che in totale abbiamo speso 131 euro 💶. Come accennato, gentili i membri dello staff, soprattutto il ragazzo giovane 🧑🏻‍🦱 che ci ha illustrato le peculiarità di ogni portata. Semplice ma al contempo ricercato l'arredamento (bello il mobile in legno in sala e gli oblò in stile marinaresco ⚓️ presso il corridoio di fronte alla cassa). Non molto grande l'area parcheggio 🅿️, la quale tende infatti a riempirsi con facilità, soprattutto nel fine settimana. A noi è senz'altro piaciuto ergo LO CONSIGLIO 👍🏻.

30/06/2025: Ho ordinato con justeat e mi hanno sbagliato l'ordine ,mi sono arrivate cose diverse, sbagliate e avevo pagato parecchio. Non potevo mangiare ciò che è arrivato , perché non potevo mangiarlo per questioni di salute e nemmeno mi piacevano. Ho chiamato il ristorante e NON si sono scusati... ma si sono solo giustificando dicendo : " ah sì, ha sbagliato il mio collega" . Non ho avuto un rimborso o un cambio o uno sconto per un ordine successivo. Evento spiacevole sì, ma comunque personalmente lo consiglio perché molto buono se arrivano le cose giuste 😂

17/07/2025: Lunch during a work break, authentic trattoria, with a character waiter, there was the workers' menu but I preferred the à la carte, appetizer of cold cuts of their production good and plentiful with warm bread the best, I took the second course, donkey stew with polenta, excellent and plentiful, varied and plentiful side dishes buffet, a liter of water, a quarter of red, coffee, cost about €35, it's reasonable given the quality and quantity of the served, eaten under a very suggestive wisteria pergola, definitely worth returning.

12/07/2025: We had a bottle of Franciacorta for an aperitif... the bottle arrived already opened (even the least experienced person knows that bottles should be opened in front of the customer, especially if they're expensive) and for an aperitif, a small bowl of chips. Wherever you go, chips, appetizers, and whatever else... they tend to save money with €35 spent on a Franciacorta 🙁mhaaaaa

Outside tables both under the portico and on the terrace with umbrellas facing Piazza delle Erbe formerly called della biada and Palazzo della Ragione where from the balcony overlooking it since 1834 the numbers for the lottery game were drawn.

18/07/2025: Nothing was left to chance. Aperitif with good service, a wide selection of meat and fish, cured meats, and cheeses. Excellent quality. Good wine list. The plus is the owner, with whom we had a pleasant chat about champagne. He knows his stuff...

09/07/2025: We won't be back. For beers, you have to use the stupid QR code (can't they just give you a normal menu???) or get up and go check a screen like at an airport. The beers are too expensive, although the effort to offer unique and special beers is appreciated.

24/06/2025: Location very well cared for in the details with a marine theme, large space both inside and on the terrace outside. Excellent selection of more common craft beers but also more particular. What can I say about the food...super super good, excellent, made with all first choice and quality ingredients. Personally the sandwiches are DELICIOUS. All the chefs prepare them on the spot with care and speed. Friendly, kind, helpful, cordial and sunny staff. I recommend spending an alternative evening in the company of friends, food and lots of beers :)

12/03/2025: Excellent bar in the middle of the ghetto, it has a very suggestive square and offers particular and refined drinks. Prices appropriate to the location and adequate service.
