17/09/2025: Historic venue in Montegrotto Terme. I think it's 40 years old if I remember correctly, and it doesn't look it. The decor is always top-notch! Over the years, it has maintained excellent quality and service, with excellent dishes... from the kitchen, pizzas, and a variety of sandwiches and burgers, as well as appetizers to accompany aperitifs or beers. The artfully drafted beers are excellent, and there's also a good selection of bottled beers. Kudos to the service. 👏👏 Attentive and helpful. It's always a pleasure to return.

11/06/2025: A comfortable place for a drink and coffee with a nice view of "Prato della Valle". Not particularly clean and tidy, both inside and out. We were kept company by the pigeons, who are not afraid and eat with the visitors, but it is part of the fun.

I'd like to understand what the point of this is. I don't care if there are no chairs. I'm pregnant, imagine if I were a disabled person!"

12/10/2025: The place was empty, midday. We got our receipt at the self-order kiosk and ordered a milkshake, among other things. After we'd already paid, the cashier told us the milkshake wasn't available because they still had to pasteurize it; they weren't ready yet. She asked if we wanted ice cream instead, but we didn't like it, so we asked if they could have a soft drink and add the difference. At this point, the girl asked the manager, who was passing by, what she could do, and without even stopping to listen, she huffed and puffed, "Give her the money," and then walked off, yelling at another colleague on the other side of the room. The cashier then said, "I'll make you a soft drink." She prepared the soft drink and told us the difference was €1. We went to pay, but she wanted it in cash—unfortunately, we never have cash. At this point, she got angry, went all red, and said, "Oh well, keep the soft drink, otherwise we'll be here until tomorrow. Goodbye." I repeat, the place was empty. I don't know who to give the award for rudest: the blonde cashier or the manager. After trying MC all over the world, this was definitely the worst.

23/07/2025: We celebrated Damiano's retirement at Fondo San Benedetto in March, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! We were all truly satisfied and happy: the food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the location breathtaking, surrounded by greenery and truly enchanting. A special thank you from Alice, Damiano, and Barbara. Highly recommended!

16/09/2025: The food is certainly good, both sweet and savory, but I find some flaws unacceptable, especially considering the price. Unfortunately, the service (especially at the table) is often cold, sloppy, and inattentive, even with regular customers. I've often found the waiter listless and unaware of key information, such as which wines were available by the glass or the various options available at the bar. Honestly, if I pay for table service, I don't expect to have to get up to check what's available because the waiter doesn't know. Sometimes I've had to ask for the table to be cleared. I've also asked for vegan options for a dessert, been told there weren't any, and two days later, I see vegan desserts for sale. Improving the service, in my opinion, would help showcase the quality of the products and better justify the high price. Furthermore, the sandwiches, while good quality, are very small and sparsely filled. In short, good, but room for improvement.

17/08/2025: Cozy, typically Italian café. Very good, creamy cappuccino (€1.70). Good pastries. Comfortable chairs. Beautiful view of the main square. Cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Here you can linger in peace and enjoy the Italian flair. (August 2025)

14/09/2025: Too crowded, chaotic which creates slow service. If you are a non smoker you have to stay inside because the pall of smoke in the external area is terrible. The staff is overwhelmed so tables are not emptied very quickly. The pastries are acceptable.
