11/01/2025: Excellent restaurant. We ate in a back room overlooking the slopes in an environment with attention to the smallest details. The service immediately proved to be attentive and helpful. The food was really great.

29/12/2024: Ok che il locale chiudeva alle 14.30 e ci siamo presentati alle 14.00, ma, avevo la bimba piccola in braccio, si stava liberando un tavolo e sentirsi dire dalla…titolare?! Dipendente???! …Con un sorriso perfido “non c’è posto” prendendomi in giro….beh penso che quella signora l’educazione non la conosca proprio. Il mio augurio è che, quella persona possa ritrovarsi nella nostra stessa situazione un giorno e soprattutto di essere trattata allo stesso livello. Non meritano nemmeno una stella, concludo dicendo che certa gente dovrebbe cambiare mestiere.

14/12/2024: Inedible sausage spatzle looked like it was in broth! I strongly advise against it, not to mention the pizza with mushrooms, sausage and smoked ricotta with a terrible bitter aftertaste.. you couldn't understand what ingredient the bitterness could come from.. probably from the cheese used.. well.. I think not I'll be back! You will be ignorant! See the photo of your menu! I edited the review just to show you the pizza I got didn't have any truffle cream! Ignorant! Anyway, it wasn't just the Ignorant pizza that was disgusting!

24/12/2024: Excellent typical dishes and products. Super friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful cabin in the mountains. In winter you can only reach them with a beautiful walk through the snowy woods. In summer reachable by car.

10/12/2024: No food...we didn't sleep, but we had lunch, a pleasant surprise! delicious first courses and abundant dishes, the place (it hasn't changed much over the years but that's not important) remains welcoming and friendly staff, absolutely correct prices.

09/11/2024: If I could put ZERO, that's what they deserve! On Sunday morning, my husband and I were literally sent away from the business because we were in the company of a 1.3 kg dog, elderly, blind and deaf, locked in his carrier! You are dirty, yes, inside!!!

18/09/2024: Was there with the motorhome, nice big places, but sometimes no satellite reception because of the tall trees. Partial power and WiFi failure. Friendly staff. Wonderful views of the valley and mountains. Sanitary house old-fashioned but functional.

07/09/2024: We stayed in one of the two chalets. Very nice accommodation divided into two floors with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a hydromassage tub. On the ground floor there is a beautiful wood stove. Private garden with bench and table. Very good breakfast with fresh products delivered directly to the chalet. But in my opinion there are some things missing like croissants or homemade desserts. We used the catering service one evening. Good products but little choice and prices in our opinion too high. Unfortunately they are doing some work on the campsite and this was a really negative point for our stay. Early in the morning we could hear the workers at work and this bothered us a lot. This in my opinion should have been communicated before our arrival. We will probably return in the future hoping for the work completed.

18/08/2024: Ritornare al Mondschein è ritornare in un posto del cuore dove trovare sempre una calorosa accoglienza e un ambiente piacevole, in cui la famiglia Kratter coccola i suoi ospiti nel migliore dei modi. Innanzitutto con la sua cucina superlativa ( pane di vario tipo fatto in casa....costolette di agnello squisite...dolci buonissimi ...e molti altri piatti saporiti), con una cantina fornitissima che accontenta tutti i palati ( e tutte le tasche...visti i ricarichi onesti) e con un servizio cortese, puntuale e professionale che rende l'esperienza davvero unica.

15/08/2024: @mondschein_tasteofdolomites a Sappada (Ud) dove si assapora i piatti tipici del territorio con i prodotti che nascono, crescono e vengono raccolti in queste meravigliose montagne.

29/12/2024: beautiful refuge in a wonderful setting with top-notch staff and dishes, homemade pasta, homemade cured meats and cheeses, an excellent alternative to the usual sad bed & breakfasts and fake homemade restaurants.

27/08/2024: Visitando Sappada vecchia questo simpatico locale e’ una tappa quasi obbligata per gustare le specialità tipiche del luogo. Oltre ai salumi e ai formaggi sono deliziosi anche i gelati. Ottima anche la birra locale e lo yogurt con i frutti di bosco. Personale simpatico e professionale. Un posto da frequentare!

08/08/2024: Bella idilliaca Sappada Vecchia, in zona a traffico limitato, è possibile rinfrancarsi con un gelato la cui bontà è inimmaginabile. Fatto con latte del posto, ha un sapore naturale difficilmente eguagliabile. La gelateria offre tavoli all'interno e all'esterno con uno stile molto carino ed è possibile acquistare e consumare salumi e formaggi di casta scelta. Un valore aggiunto alla bellissima Sapoada
