July 2026 Finally back at this wonderful restaurant. We rediscovered the courtesy and friendliness of Mr. Paolo and the ever-innovative yet traditional cuisine of Mondshein. 5 stars again, because I can't give more. July 11, 2025 And here we are again at this magical restaurant. Once again, a wonderful experience: from the welcome to the atmosphere, from the precise, courteous, perfect service, to the food...unique. This time we brought friends who were thrilled with the experience. Tradition is evident in every dish, but each dish is still new and original. A big thank you, Paolo! 2022 After a long walk, we came across this beautiful restaurant and stopped for lunch. An enchanting location between the golf course lawns and the woods. The owners and staff were welcoming and very kind. We had an aperitif and two first courses. The entree provided by the kitchen was very welcome and delicious. The polenta tortelloni with cheese and mushrooms were spectacular and delicious. Highly recommended. 2024 We returned after two years and it's still a magical and welcoming place. The food and service were exquisite.

Fantastic... Very nice location. The restaurant is divided into three different rooms: from classic to modern. The service is excellent, impeccable... The food is equally recommended: the risotto, the ravioli, and the char. The wines are excellent. Highly recommended among the best restaurants in Sappada. The noise level is very low.

We ended up in this restaurant in Sappada almost by chance, where I believe the season hasn't started yet and I ate a special tongue and a lamb so good that I lost my mind, the service, the atmosphere, everything was magnificent. I also put their "welcome" in the photo.

The quality and cooking of the food. The homemade bread is top notch. The service is very friendly and efficient. The wait times are short. The downside is the rather small portions.

A wonderful experience at this restaurant. It wasn't our first time, but last night's tasting with wine pairing was special. I chose this location to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. It was a riot of flavors and aromas. The welcome was superb, the service excellent, the dishes prepared perfectly. The quality of the ingredients was a blend of tradition and innovation. Compliments to the chef. Stefano, a fantastic sommelier. A perfect selection of wines, starting with the aperitif, followed by an Austrian Chardonnay for the appetizer, a structured macerated Garganega for the main course; then we moved on to the reds. For the special risotto with chicken giblets and lemon, a delight for the palate, a fresh Schiava was paired with a delicious Pinot Noir from Belluno, and finally a young Barolo for the venison. We concluded with a pre-dessert and sweet hay ice cream with chamomile mousse. Truly incredible. We felt at home, welcomed and looked after, not to mention pampered, by the staff, the owner, and his wife. Truly extraordinary service. The location is wonderful. Several rooms furnished in characteristic wood are perfect for a pleasant evening with your partner or friends. The outdoor lawn adds a touch of color to the windows, which overlook the Sappada peaks. We conclude with a herbal liqueur made with grandma's recipe on the outdoor sofas, where the atmosphere, with its lights and furnishings, creates the perfect setting for sharing a fantastic experience. It's true there isn't a star, but for us, there were two. Congratulations, see you soon.

Found it by chance, and it exceeded my expectations! I'd call it an experience! You can feel the research into the products and the thoughtfulness of the proposals! The owners are friendly and make you feel at home! Highly recommended!
