17/08/2025: Delicious takeaway pizzas. Despite being very busy, service was still prompt. Unfortunately, I received the wrong pizza the first time, but it tasted just as good. The pizzas are also very reasonably priced, ranging from €6 to €9.50.

09/10/2025: We had ciccheties at a few places in Venice, and this was by far the best. It was both tasty and felt authentic and unmarred by the flooding of tourists. The prosciutto was also wonderful.

13/05/2025: Locale carino, cameriera gentile e cibo buono. Non ho apprezzato che non ci fosse un menù scritto soprattutto per farsi un’idea su quanto avremmo speso, senza doverlo scoprire solo alla fine. Consiglio: investite sul menù cartaceo e date poi eventuali consigli su cosa scegliere a voce.

27/04/2025: Nice place, very kind service staff and food, all in all, good. Too bad the prawns and prawns were not very clean and the risotto had too much pepper. It's also a shame that there isn't a menu indicating dishes and prices. In fact, the final price, in my opinion, is too expensive. For a mixed boiled meat for 2 people, 2 risottos, 2 waters, 2 glasses of prosecco, 1 dessert and 2 coffees 100 euros. Exaggerated price that you don't pay even in Chioggia. I won't be coming back again

26/07/2025: I waited for a home delivery pizza for 1 hour and a half and they told me that the pizza would arrive at 8.15pm. It's 9pm and the pizza hasn't arrived yet. FIRST AND LAST TIME. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE IT.

31/07/2025: The cappuccinos and croissants are superb, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I ordered a tray of pastries for dinner with friends and received so many compliments. Highly recommended.

06/06/2025: Se state pensando di organizzare il vostro matrimonio a Calcatonega, cambiate idea finché siete in tempo! La nostra esperienza con il titolare, Alberto, è stata a dir poco disastrosa e ve la sconsiglio vivamente. Fin dall'inizio, abbiamo riscontrato una mancanza totale di trasparenza e professionalità. Ci era stato presentato un preventivo per una struttura condivisa con altre persone, un'opzione che noi non avevamo minimamente richiesto e che non era affatto in linea con l'idea del nostro giorno speciale. Quando abbiamo fatto notare questo disguido, invece di rimediare o scusarsi, Alberto ha pensato bene di aumentare il prezzo in modo spropositato, rendendo la proposta completamente inaccettabile per il nostro budget e le nostre aspettative. Il vero incubo è iniziato quando, a seguito di questo aumento ingiustificato e della proposta non richiesta, abbiamo deciso che Calcatonega non faceva più per noi. Nonostante avessimo pagato una caparra di ben 500 euro otto mesi prima dell'evento, e senza aver recato alcun danno alla struttura, Alberto si è rifiutato categoricamente di restituirci la somma. Trovo questo comportamento profondamente scorretto e inaccettabile. Si è dimostrato completamente indisponibile al dialogo e irremovibile sulla sua posizione. In sintesi, Calcatonega, sotto la gestione di Alberto, si è rivelato un luogo dove la parola data e la correttezza contrattuale sembrano optional. La gestione è approssimativa, la comunicazione inesistente e l'etica professionale decisamente carente. Se non volete ritrovarvi con un buco nel portafoglio e un sacco di stress aggiuntivo nel periodo più bello della vostra vita, state alla larga da Calcatonega. Non potrei sconsigliarlo di più per l'organizzazione di un matrimonio.

02/08/2025: For a long time, I thought the best pizzas in Limena (at least for takeout) were those from Turbo Pizza, but I've come to realize that Spidy definitely holds its own in this regard. I had a couple of pizzas 🍕 a while ago and I have to say I was satisfied 👍. The menu has a wide selection 📋, which also includes bruschetta and calzones. I've returned several times since and have always been satisfied. The staff is courteous and helpful 🧑🏻👩🏻, and the wait times are normal. There's no proper parking lot 🅿️, but you can leave your car 🚘 in a small space nearby. RECOMMENDED 👍. 02/10/2025: Completely unaware that the kitchen was not open around 12:30. Not sure whether it was stated somewhere and as non-italian speakers we weren't aware. However, we did translate the menu to english and we couldn't find anything Was told there were only pre-made sandwiches available They gave me food poisoning. Spefically, the crumbed veil....can't say I'm happy. Won't be going back there

01/10/2025: Amazing bar, I loved it. I went for lunch with some friends and they were quick and efficient. I had one of the best poke and burgers here. Highly recommended!!

23/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena tra colleghi, servizio ottimo e cena di pesce buonissima. Il pesce era freschissimo. Qualità- prezzo ottimo soprattutto per una città come Venezia. Location tranquilla.

14/07/2025: Très bon restaurant, le chef nous a proposé un assortiment de fruits de mer et poisson pour notre table de 8 personnes. Tout était excellent. Personnel très aimable et serviable et qui comprend et parle un peu français ! Et le petit verre de liqueur offert en fin de repas...Parfait !

19/05/2025: Sunday family lunch, on the outside veranda, protected from the road by a hedge and vines. We celebrated grandma's birthday. We also had some very young people at the table, including a vegetarian. The fish (and non-fish) menu satisfied all generations. Right portions. Fresh fish and tasty dishes prepared on the spot. This justifies a little wait between one dish and the next. But when you're celebrating you shouldn't rush. I don't know what to say about the price because we were invited. Pleasant ambient music in the background. Discreet, professional and courteous service. They offered us a small appetizer during the initial wait and a digestive at the end of the meal. I recommend it. I would also like to try it in the evening, with a different atmosphere. I know they do evenings with live music.
