27/07/2025: Unfortunately, the quality of the food has definitely declined over the years. The pizza isn't great, the steak is inedible... the roast beef is so-so... and the mosquitoes... They really like the place... I don't think we'll be back.

30/07/2025: We had dinner last night for four of us, two adults and two children. The food was good, and the staff was polite and friendly. Prices were slightly above average, especially for small children (€15 for a six-year-old is a bit steep). I highly recommend it, though!

27/07/2025: Must do! As soon as you arrive, the friendly staff explains how the service works. Very good food, perfectly cooked. The pineapple at the end is not to be missed.

17/08/2025: I went for a business lunch; overall, the pizza was not bad. The only downside was the wait to be greeted, escorted to the table, and for the order to be taken. Despite the restaurant being half empty, the various waiters didn't attend to me promptly.

11/08/2025: We were there on August 9th, after a race at the nearby athletics stadium. We were looking for a place to have dinner. We passed by and saw that there were some free tables. Obviously, other athletes had arrived at the same time as us, but despite this, we didn't wait long to order or eat. We opted for the pizza, which was good overall, although the ingredients weren't the freshest and were of mediocre quality. The staff was very welcoming, kind, and cheerful.

02/06/2025: The setting is really beautiful and the outside part is on the edge of a canal, very suggestive and particular and the staff is quite kind, but the service is really bad. We asked for a table for 2 people, they made us sit and wait an hour and a half for a dish that I was eating, then another half an hour for the dish of the person who was with me. No way!! Maybe next time it would be kind to warn the customer of the waiting times in case there were any. Good food but now that it arrived we are no longer hungry.

29/06/2025: Sorry, the hotel is nothing like a 4-star hotel. The welcome is more or less acceptable. The rooms and common areas were not cleaned during the three days of our stay. Dirty carpet, damaged furniture, bathroom not with a shower, but with a bathtub. The TV malfunctioned with poor quality channels. The photos are not representative of reality. All public transportation was on strike on Friday, June 20th, but there was no information on this subject to allow for planning. Some guests were unable to get to Venice. The breakfast is more or less adequate. I would say a small three-star hotel. Because we were on the way to Lake Maggiore two days earlier, we stayed almost near Arona in a four-star hotel that was perfect, for a lower price. 26/06/2025: 5/5 – Truly Comfortable and Convenient Stay! We had a wonderful experience at LH Hotel Sirio Venice. The photos on Booking.com are true to life—what you see is exactly what you get. The room was impressively spacious, featuring a large queen-sized bed and a convertible sofa that comfortably served as a second bed. It was a pleasant surprise to find extra sheets, pillows, and blankets already available in the room. The bathroom was another highlight—very roomy, complete with a bidet, double sinks, and modern fixtures. We also appreciated the small fridge, which easily fit our large water bottles, and the flat-screen TV added to our comfort. Parking can be a bit tricky as the hotel offers limited gated parking for €15/day, but it felt secure and worth the price. Alternatively, there's a public parking lot right across the street. The location is super convenient—just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop that takes you directly into Venice. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the city without staying in the crowded center. One small downside: while the hotel advertises an on-site restaurant and bar, we never saw them open during our 3-night stay. However, that didn’t overshadow the overall excellent experience. Highly recommended for comfort, convenience, and value!

07/04/2025: Cibo ottimo... l ontanissimo dalla solita cucina orientale..... cocktail fantastici.. abbiamo mangiato bevendo due dei loro gin tonic.... unici !!!! quando sarò in zona ci tornero sicuro

07/02/2025: Amiamo la cucina Thai e siamo stati invogliati dal fatto che sapevamo che la gestione era veramente Thai. Difatti sia in cucina che in sala ci sono tutte persone di origine Thailandese. Abbiamo provato Pad Thai con gamberi, discreto ma non particolarmente riuscito come sapore, piuttosto blando. Di secondo abbiamo provato Curry verde di pesce, Curry verde di pollo, Carne con verdure e Crostacei con salsa piccante. Tutto nella media senza particolare gusto. Il migliore senz'altro in Curry verde. Locale con arredamento piuttosto fatiscente e trasandato, così come il servizio. Le signore che ci hanno servito stavano sedute ad un tavolo a chiacchierare e bere e ogni tanto si alzavano per il servizio. Le luci del locale erano accese solo in metà sala lasciando il resto nella penombra. Piuttosto triste come atmosfera. Sinceramente non ce la sentiamo di consigliarlo. Prezzi medio alti per la qualità offerta, i secondi a 23 € erano decisamente troppo cari rispetto alla qualità proposta.

20/07/2025: It was Saturday, the music was too loud, and we had a 1/2 hour wait for a menu and a waitress. Then we left because they don't make granitas, even though they're on the menu. Prices are high, but that's subjective.

13/07/2025: Delicious desserts and ice cream. A good selection of aperitifs and wines as well.

18/08/2025: We made a quick stop before reaching Montegrappa. We had a coffee and a cappuccino with a strudel, paying €7.70, on the lovely terrace with a fantastic view. The coffee and strudel were very good. The place has ample parking.

17/08/2025: I didn't stay, but I always stop for a break on my bike rides. Spectacular view and delicious homemade desserts made by Mrs. Monica. Each one better than the last.

05/07/2025: It has a wide selection on display and therefore often delivers food that is not exactly fresh. I have had the opportunity to eat fresh food, it is excellent, but the unsold food is not. Advice, they heat it up in the microwave and they do not use it well, they deliver the food to you excessively hot which also changes the consistency. Reheating is a delicate art

23/06/2025: Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo alcune esperienze positive, ma siamo rimasti molto delusi. Cucina completamente cambiata e improntata ora su sapori esotici senza particolare qualità. Si parte male con un menù che prevede solo diversi percorsi quantitativi (3-5-8 piatti) senza alcuna descrizione degli stessi, senza possibilità di variare una pietanza che può non piacere, tutto a discrezione dello chef. Temo che l'eccessiva esposizione mediatica di questa categoria abbia dato alla testa, al ristorante vado per mangiare e credo sia mio diritto avere il piacere di scegliere cibi che mi piacciono e non essere costretto a mangiare piatti scelti da altri spesso improntati più sull'effetto estetico che sul gusto. Quello dello chef non è un'arte, è un mestiere e forse sarebbe meglio se tornassero ad essere cuochi. Non parliamo poi della tavola minimalista (secondo me un sistema per risparmiare sulla lavanderia), all'arrivo si trova un tavolo completamente spoglio e così resta per cui si è costretti ad appoggiare le posate su un tavolo della cui perfetta pulizia posso nutrire qualche dubbio, neanche uno di quegli aggeggi per posare la parte superiore delle posate normalmente presenti in queste preparazioni. E' ridicolo che poi per darti il tovagliolo lo prendano con la pinza. Il pane è un'opzione non prevista, prima due (2) grissini a testa, poi un pan brioche con gli antipasti, scelta discutibile, ma fino a qui può starci, poi lo si vede solo in misura ridottissima con dell'olio distribuito con il contagocce (tanto poco che non saprei darne un giudizio) e con del burro buono, ma presentato come non farebbe nemmeno l'ultima osteria, poco e da dividere in due (avranno pensato al nostro colesterolo). Anche la scelta del vino, già problematica non sapendo cosa si mangia, è un problema, se si presenta una lista dei vini enorme la scelta è fra passare la serata a consultarla o esporre i propri gusti al sommelier e così ho fatto, ma con un risultato mediocre (non ho posto limiti economici). Tornando ai piatti preparazioni banali salvo il piccione cotto perfettamente, in sostanza si è passati da una cucina tradizionale rivisitata di ottima qualità a piatti insaporiti da spezie e gusti orientali senza però la tradizione che si percepisce nella cucina orientale vera. Ancora una volta mi chiedo come assegnino le stelle Michelin, certo non basandosi su gusto e servizio.
