Caffe Diemme ITALIAN ATTITUDE
Padova
10/03/2026: just opened among the best cappuccinos in Padua, now, acquired customers, cold cappuccino without foam, Italian attitude👎!!
08/03/2026: I expected more from a place in Prato della Valle: tasteless frozen brioches and a rather disappointing service. The waiters seemed tired of serving tables so early in the morning :(

Osteria Nori
Verona
05/10/2025: We had lunch here and thought the service and food was exceptional. Spaghetti Ragu was delicious and we recommend the scampi entree. Both Campari and Aperol spritz was top shelf service. And most of all, the service was very wholesome with us and friendly. We would recommend to other tourists who wish to enjoy a meal by the Adige.
05/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo, waited a long time to order, and after a long wait, they brought us the aperitivo we ordered, with nothing to accompany it: no chips, taralli, olives... nothing!!! This has never happened in any other place, whether downtown or on the outskirts. They even ran out of bread for a bruschetta on the menu, so we were told. When it came time to pay, which wasn't cheap... we expressed our disappointment at the poor service and received a rude response instead of an apology, even though our request was truly basic for an aperitivo. I wouldn't recommend this experience, never again.

Rifugio Alpino La Zopa
Auronzo di cadore
17/08/2026: Beautiful location. Food was okay.
The team was very friendly.
15/08/2026: Bad experience. Unfortunately, a bee fell into the spritz, and when we asked for a change (it had literally just arrived and was still completely full), not only was it not changed, but only the bee was removed, and we were also charged as if we had ordered an additional spritz. Personally, I find this embarrassing, but maybe I'm wrong.

Gelateria Dolz
San michele al tagliamento
17/09/2025: Delicious soft serve ice cream to fill your own cone or cup, garnished with various toppings.
Regular ice cream is also available.
It's charged by weight, not exactly cheap, but we enjoyed it.
The salesperson was friendly, and even though it's mid-September, there are no lines outside.
12/09/2025: After trying it several times around Bibione, some decent, others much less so... The best cheesecake flavor is undoubtedly here! Generous sauce, lots of biscuit chunks, not too sweet... In short, excellent!

Marmolada
Rocca pietore
15/04/2026: I booked this hotel as a former Valtour customer. In fact, if you look at the outside sign, the Valtour logo has still been roughly erased with black paint... that alone makes you think badly. We were assigned an apartment in the residence next door, with a 1970s style. When I pointed out to management that there was no fire extinguisher, the manager started yelling. The self-service dinner was like a company canteen: lukewarm pasta, tasteless vegetables, dry main courses, and desserts for five days: crème caramel made with powders and water, fruit, and freshly squeezed orange juice, all thrown on a small table.
Breakfast was like a market of off-brand and frozen products; the omelette was barely warm. It felt like being in Yugoslavia in the 1980s.
There was an almost total lack of fresh products. At check-in, the receptionist didn't know how to register a minor with their parents. Everyone chooses where to book, but don't do as I did and didn't inform myself about the change of management... read the reviews, especially the negative ones, and remember that they want money before you enter, and if the service is what it is, the money is gone and will never be returned. I asked for white rice and was told that the chef is too busy (with €100 per person per day). One morning I asked for orange juice, but the waiter said the supplier didn't have it. Luckily, there's a bar near the hotel. The manager needs to learn how to talk to people... especially if they're guests.
26/03/2026: We spent a week here as part of an Itaka trip and had a great time. One must remember that it is a 3 star hotel, rather than 4 or 5, and so for what it is, it is great.
First and foremost, the staff were all fantastic. Every one of them friendly and helpful, and they were especially comforting during an emergency situation we were unfortunate to encounter at the end of the week.
We had a room on the first floor which seemed to have been renovated (it was a smaller room without a balcony and a shower whereas our friends on the second floor had a bigger room with a balcony and a bathtub as well). Although a balcony would have been nice, everything was just fine. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but it wasn't an issue for us. There was a modern radiator in the bathroom which allowed us to dry our ski stuff on at the end of the day. The beds (two singles pushed together) were also fine and there were sockets next to each side of the bed as well as built-in reading lamps and light switches next to the bed. A wardrobe with plenty of hanging space (I could have used more shelves though!). There was also a small fridge under the desk. The only downside was the level of noise - from the corridor, the room next door and the group of youngsters who decided to congregate outside our bedroom window every afternoon while we tried to rest - but this is not the fault of the hotel of course although perhaps they could try to make the room more sound-proof (and use thicker curtains!).
The food was as good as you can expect for the level of hotel. There was always a vast selection of food which changed every night - everything was on a buffet. Breakfast included some form of eggs (either hard boiled or scrambled) with either bacon or sausages, plus the usual cheese, ham, vegetables, bread, cakes & croissants with water, juice, tea and a coffee machine. I would have liked more prepared fresh fruit (there was always some whole fruit available though) for yoghurt at breakfast and also as a dessert option at dinner. I would have also liked some different bread options as there was only white available. Dessert could have been better - often the same and whenever there was some fresh fruit or something different/nicer you had to be quick enough to get some before it ran out.
The biggest plus of staying at this hotel is the proximity to the ski slope - it's a very short walk (50m?) to the Malga Ciapela ski lift which starts at 8.40 and goes every 10 mins or so with about 60 people at a time to the top (with 2 connections where you cannot get out to ski but have to continue going up). You can eventually connect to Sella Ronda. At the end of the day you can ski all the way back down to the ski lift and walk back to the hotel. There is a ski room on -1 which was very spacious and has heated boot warmers. The only thing I will mention is there are signs in the hotel warning about potentially theft of ski gear and that no responsibility will be taken from the hotel which is a bit concerning, although we didn't personally have any issues (and there was a camera outside the entrance to the ski room). Our friends opted to keep their stuff on their balcony, but we did not have such an option (nor did we have such expensive gear to mind too much). Also on the -1 level, with a connection to the hotel, is a small grocery store, a ski shop (for buying & rental) and a bar.
The hotel also has a decent sized swimming pool (about 14m in length approximately) which was heated to a comfortable temperature and free to use with prior booking (it was open from 5pm). There was also a sauna or spa available at an extra cost (the sauna was €15 per person for one hour) but we didn't use it.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and week of skiing which unfortunately ended in a bit a disaster for us when emergency surgery and transfer to another town plus an extension of 2 days to our trip was needed! But as I said before, everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and supportive during this time. I would definitely stay again!

20/08/2026: The piadina was quite good, perhaps a little expensive, the only thing was that we waited about 30/35 minutes before eating.
14/08/2026: Great piadinas, freshly made, generous portions, and a good price.

Schumy Pizza
Breganze
03/06/2026: Disappointing experience, poor organization, the delivery man didn't have change to give, at 8.30 pm I called to ask about the fact that they were late and they told me they didn't have the family-sized boxes... they assured me that the pizzas were ready and they arrived to deliver them with another 20 minutes delay... (note that the pizzeria is very close to the delivery place) the delivery man arrives (pizzas booked for 8.15 pm, actual delivery at 8.50 pm, he doesn't have change to give, the pizzas are cold, and the mozzarella is missing from 3 out of 4 pizzas..👎👎👎
12/04/2026: Parking is hard to find but the pizzas are excellent.

Zerocinque Loungebar
Cadoneghe
21/08/2025: They even make you pay for a glass of water, I've never seen this, not even in Milan, I should have seen it in CADONEGHE
09/08/2025: I'm writing this review with a bitter taste in my mouth, referring to the new management and subsequent name change to "Heart." On Friday, August 1st, some friends and I ordered a round of vodka martinis, and were literally served water with a little martini added. We changed the drink for gin and lemon because we didn't like it (confirmed by one of the bartenders, who shared our opinion that the drink was poorly made), and the situation seemed to improve. We had a second and final round of drinks: a total of around one hundred euros spent at the table, and they didn't even bring us chips, which we had to ask for ourselves (embarrassing, given the celebration for the new management). But let's get to the part that most disappointed me... At 12:06 AM, the square was still crowded with people. I asked to use the bathroom, but was immediately stopped by a girl who, despite my invitation to clean the bathroom myself (I have no problem putting on gloves and cleaning), rudely shooed me away, telling me they were already cleaning the bathrooms and that "I could urinate behind the tree in the square." I, who am not an animal, obviously declined the invitation and waited until they got home. Speechless. Not recommended, I will never set foot in there again.

Pasticceria Severin
Trevignano
20/09/2025: We stopped by chance on our way to Tigna. Delicious place, fresh desserts with a choice of fillings made to order. Clean and welcoming, the staff is polite and fast. Highly recommend.
13/09/2025: The croissants are very good, but the owner is rude, or at least unfriendly, and the cleanliness is decidedly lacking—a shame, because the atmosphere is very nice. A real shame.
