I tried their strawberry cup and was absolutely won over: The strawberries are incredibly fresh, perfectly sweet, and plentiful. Not the usual topping, but the true stars of the dessert. The gelato's texture is velvety and the flavor intense, a sign of artisanal craftsmanship and passion. The whipped cream. Simply perfect. Firm, light, and not overly sweet, it crowns the whole thing without overpowering the fruit flavors. The Ambience The location is ideal for a relaxing moment: the outdoor sofas are very comfortable and the atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for enjoying gelato in the sun or on a spring afternoon. In short: Generous portions, meticulous presentation, and quality you can taste in every spoonful. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors!

24/04/2026: A bar/gelateria in the heart of San Giovanni Lupatoto, perfect for an evening with friends in both winter and summer. Spacious, with plenty of tables inside and outside. In summer, there's plenty of outdoor space as well. A wide selection of gelato sundaes, all named after Greek gods. I had a Dionisio, with gelato, fruit, and whipped cream. It arrived within two minutes of ordering, so it was prepared very quickly. Delicious, creamy, and very filling; there must have been half a kilo of gelato and fruit. €10 + 0.50 cent cover charge = €10.50. They also offer sweet and savory bar and gelato options, as well as lunch and dinner snacks like toasted sandwiches, sandwiches, pizzas, and more. They also offer cocktails, herbal teas, infusions, crepes, cakes, aperitifs, hot chocolate, and more. They also offer takeout. The staff is young and friendly. The only downside is the parking. The ice cream shop is located on a busy street with very limited parking, but there is a private parking lot dedicated to the shop with about twenty spaces. Otherwise, park in Piazza Umberto I and walk less than five minutes.

09/08/2025: I'm writing this review with a bitter taste in my mouth, referring to the new management and subsequent name change to "Heart." On Friday, August 1st, some friends and I ordered a round of vodka martinis, and were literally served water with a little martini added. We changed the drink for gin and lemon because we didn't like it (confirmed by one of the bartenders, who shared our opinion that the drink was poorly made), and the situation seemed to improve. We had a second and final round of drinks: a total of around one hundred euros spent at the table, and they didn't even bring us chips, which we had to ask for ourselves (embarrassing, given the celebration for the new management). But let's get to the part that most disappointed me... At 12:06 AM, the square was still crowded with people. I asked to use the bathroom, but was immediately stopped by a girl who, despite my invitation to clean the bathroom myself (I have no problem putting on gloves and cleaning), rudely shooed me away, telling me they were already cleaning the bathrooms and that "I could urinate behind the tree in the square." I, who am not an animal, obviously declined the invitation and waited until they got home. Speechless. Not recommended, I will never set foot in there again.

05/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo, waited a long time to order, and after a long wait, they brought us the aperitivo we ordered, with nothing to accompany it: no chips, taralli, olives... nothing!!! This has never happened in any other place, whether downtown or on the outskirts. They even ran out of bread for a bruschetta on the menu, so we were told. When it came time to pay, which wasn't cheap... we expressed our disappointment at the poor service and received a rude response instead of an apology, even though our request was truly basic for an aperitivo. I wouldn't recommend this experience, never again.

05/10/2025: We had lunch here and thought the service and food was exceptional. Spaghetti Ragu was delicious and we recommend the scampi entree. Both Campari and Aperol spritz was top shelf service. And most of all, the service was very wholesome with us and friendly. We would recommend to other tourists who wish to enjoy a meal by the Adige.

01/05/2026: Around 1:40 a.m., a friend of mine and I called to order two pizzas. They answered and told us they'd be ready in 20 minutes and then delivered to our house. Given the address, we assumed they'd checked where it was. We called again, another 15 minutes passed, and they told us it was in the oven. We waited another 20 minutes. When we called again, since we'd been waiting for almost an hour, they told us it would be there in 5 minutes. Perfect. 20 minutes went by, and we called the guy who was delivering it, and he told us that since he was on a bicycle outside the city center, he couldn't come. Bottom line: we waited an hour and a half in the cold for nothing.

16/01/2026: Very limited choice of vegan or lactose-free options! The vegan tart was good, but in my opinion, it was an industrial product. Today I had a vegan brioche that was awful to say the least. I didn't tell him, because there's no point anyway. The location is beautiful, the staff professional but perhaps a bit too serious.

Not that it was the same as before, etc., but the different vibes are noticeable... as if they were bringing a breath of fresh air. My wife and I stop/drop by for a coffee, a fruit juice, and/or a quick pastry, and we both really enjoy the experience. We hope the place gets off to a great start. From a customer's perspective, it already has the right characteristics to do so.

23/03/2026: A truly positive experience. The manager told us over the phone that they only did platters, at most eggs, speck, and potatoes. However, once we got there, we had a choice of three first courses, two second courses, and four desserts. Everything was good, the service excellent, the portions generous, and the price reasonable. Well done.

21/02/2026: Remembering the platters we used to eat three years ago, well-filled and of good quality, this year was a huge disappointment. When I ordered a platter for two, I asked if they'd made a mistake, given how small it was at €16. Given the rudeness of the manager, they won't see me again as long as this management remains. Remember, this isn't a full-service winter resort, so encouraging those who come to support you financially might be inconceivable... and let's not cry, there's a crisis. I recommend removing the photo of the platter from the website because it's misleading... maybe it was the one from the previous management!

27/10/2025: The owner is rude and arrogant; if you ask for clarification on the bill, she practically yells at you. I ordered takeout, alas, otherwise I would have turned around and left immediately. I hoped the pizza would at least be good, but it wasn't; I spent a sleepless night thirsty and feeling heartburn. Considering that I paid €31 for three regular pizzas, the only peculiarity being that ONE had been ordered with whole wheat dough, the incredibly rude lady made two with whole wheat dough, and when she pointed this out, she left us the price of the extra and didn't even apologize. Bottom line: the interior is very minimal, bordering on divey, the owner is rude and arrogant, and the pizza isn't good. Avoid this place to avoid getting bitter.
