21/02/2026: I tried this restaurant for lunch and was seated right away. The appetizer was very good, but the highlight was the trio of dumplings, a truly well-executed delight. The waitress was kind and helpful. Excellent view of the lake and more than average prices. I'll be back.

05/06/2026: A pleasant discovery in the heart of Verona. Just steps from the Arena, I spent a truly enjoyable evening enjoying excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every dish, and the restaurant successfully combines tradition, flavor, and a truly enchanting location. A perfect spot for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. Definitely a place to consider when in the city center. Le Cantine de l’Arena is a worthwhile stop.

04/06/2026: Terrible service. My friend got a cork stuck in his head, causing years of trauma. They also made mistakes on the bill. Awful.

09/06/2026: I go to get a coffee. The employee at the counter, a lady in her 50s, with a very rude attitude, presents me with the coffee with a dirty spoon, to underline the cost of the coffee of one euro and fifty cents. I rightly look at the spoon and remain silent. She notices that I am looking at the spoon and you can see her annoyed eye at my precaution and does nothing to change it. Oh well, luckily it is one of the most important pastry shops in Vicenza.

Estoy feliz con los deliciosos pasteles más allá de la imaginación, y también un poco triste de no vivir más cerca. The restaurant is welcoming and well-maintained, with a warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. A little tip: it's best to book in advance, as the restaurant is small and often fully booked. A clear sign of the quality it offers. Highly recommended! 👏

10/04/2026: I've been going there for many years. Even though the place is very small and cold, and the wait is long, it's nice to eat something different every now and then. The quality is good, and the crepes are very good (not all of them). Lately, I've found the prices high and the menu very confusing, with similar names that lead to confusion. In fact, among the crepes "Del lupo," "Gola del lupo," "Tana del lupo," etc., they brought me the wrong crepe. I noticed it at first bite (which was inedible, by the way: tuna in tomato sauce!). Okay, they changed it for me and also brought me the wrong one in a container: "If you want to take it away... so as not to throw it away." In the end, though, it was on the receipt! So I said that if I have to pay for it, and since I didn't make the mistake, she can throw it away! The owner started a never-ending story about how I'd eaten half of it, otherwise she would have eaten it, and that it's a sin to waste... So, according to her, I absolutely had to take it away and pay for it! Finally, he corrects the receipt, we pay, and leave. The next day I checked again, and he made some strange chargebacks and basically charged us half anyway! BIG CROSS ON TOP! BIG...! P.S. Reading other reviews, I've noticed that there are more than one victim of "wrong crepe and no discount." GREAT STRATEGY TO LOSE CUSTOMERS VS. A SPOONFUL OF BAKED AND FILLED BATTER!

05/10/2025: We had lunch here and thought the service and food was exceptional. Spaghetti Ragu was delicious and we recommend the scampi entree. Both Campari and Aperol spritz was top shelf service. And most of all, the service was very wholesome with us and friendly. We would recommend to other tourists who wish to enjoy a meal by the Adige.

05/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo, waited a long time to order, and after a long wait, they brought us the aperitivo we ordered, with nothing to accompany it: no chips, taralli, olives... nothing!!! This has never happened in any other place, whether downtown or on the outskirts. They even ran out of bread for a bruschetta on the menu, so we were told. When it came time to pay, which wasn't cheap... we expressed our disappointment at the poor service and received a rude response instead of an apology, even though our request was truly basic for an aperitivo. I wouldn't recommend this experience, never again.

03/06/2026: Disappointing experience, poor organization, the delivery man didn't have change to give, at 8.30 pm I called to ask about the fact that they were late and they told me they didn't have the family-sized boxes... they assured me that the pizzas were ready and they arrived to deliver them with another 20 minutes delay... (note that the pizzeria is very close to the delivery place) the delivery man arrives (pizzas booked for 8.15 pm, actual delivery at 8.50 pm, he doesn't have change to give, the pizzas are cold, and the mozzarella is missing from 3 out of 4 pizzas..👎👎👎
