21/11/2025: I went to this place for a quick dinner. It's located in the ghetto area of ​​the city center, making it a nice neighborhood. The country chic and vintage decor is beautiful, and the atmosphere is inviting. The menu is quite extensive and caters to all tastes, with meat dishes taking center stage. The burgers are delicious, as are the fries, often included with the sandwich. I recommend the sweet fried ones and the ones with truffle-infused parmesan. The staff is very kind and attentive (perhaps a bit too kind). The wait times are short (it was a very quiet evening). The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're adequate for the quality of the food. I recommend a visit; reservations are recommended on weekends.

15/11/2025: Good evening, I went to this place to eat piadina with my husband, what can I say, the piadina was good, average, but the sore point is hygiene and cleanliness... unfortunately, since everything is in view, and the tables are right next to the counter, it is impossible not to see, even if I would have liked not to see, what my eyes saw!... the guy who with his hands was dicing a large piece of gorgonzola into small pieces, all this with his bare hands without gloves... then he wiped his pants, went to the cashier and took orders touching money, and then came back to handle more cheese... I love gorgonzola, but I think I won't eat it for a while, it's not possible that all the preparations are made without gloves, especially the cheeses... I'm sorry but I won't be going back, today I already wanted to leave but by then I had paid, and anyway I didn't even finish the whole piadina, I was gone...

10/11/2025: Found it by chance, I recommend it.. reasonable prices, friendly and smiling staff, the only flaw is that there are few seats but it's ok, the place is small.

15/10/2025: Passing by and with my heart in my mouth for matters of the heart, I must compliment the owners of this spectacular establishment. The welcome is unique, the ambience beautiful, and you'll be captivated by the attention to detail—for example, the care taken in a simple vase of flowers, the meticulously laid tables, and the immaculate cleanliness, right down to breakfast (I stopped here specifically), which rivals those of Parisian bistros. Excellent coffee, delicious croissants, and a selection of desserts to die for. A total of 10!

08/09/2025: I can confidently say it's one of those places you always want to return to. The atmosphere is well-kept, clean, and pleasant; it's comfortable inside, but also outside in the summer, and in the winter, the outdoor patio heaters make the space welcoming. It's the kind of place that can please everyone, from breakfast with artisanal pastries and carefully prepared brioches, to quick meals, to a truly lavish aperitif buffet. I've tasted so many things: hot finger foods, cold snacks, mini sandwiches, all truly delicious. The wine cellar is a real highlight: select reds, whites, sparkling wines, and champagnes, recommended by the staff with a simple yet expert approach. You're never lost among a thousand labels; they'll recommend the perfect glass. The staff deserves a special mention: kind, smiling, and welcoming. The service is quick and unfussy; you immediately feel at home. Let's not forget the frequent events they organize: music and entertainment that can accompany aperitifs on the weekend or become longer, more engaging evenings after dinner. An extra touch that makes the Clock a lively and welcoming point of reference in Porto Viro.

28/11/2025: One of the best restaurants in Padua. We've been going there for years and have introduced it to many friends. The atmosphere is warm and homey, and the owners' kindness is unparalleled. The food is addictive, not to mention the tea afterward, which rounds out the meal and makes the experience complete.

16/11/2025: I was really curious to taste this country's cuisine, imagining it to be rich in exotic aromas and spices, but in the end, I didn't find the flavors of the dishes I ordered to be as original as I expected. I should emphasize that I can't say the dishes were bad, but simply, in my opinion, lacked personality. From the rich offerings, well explained by the owner, we chose the unique friendship platter, or Maadi (five Eritrean bread bases that we garnished with two meat bases—ostrich and beef—and three vegetable bases—lentils, chickpeas, and eggplant). This dish is so called because it encourages diners to share, with their hands, but eating isn't "mandatory." It's beautiful to look at, but, as I mentioned above, its flavors are less interesting. In my opinion, only the red lentils were a cut above. The bread served (inghiera) was certainly original, unique in its flavor (even though it was quite flat) and texture (soft, spongy). The owner mentions piadina romagnola in his introduction, but it's only piadina-like in shape. To finish, they served us a pleasant herbal tea accompanied by cinnamon biscuits (IKEA-style). A brief mention of the unpleasant, unexpected, musty/musty smell that permeates the room upon entering; I'd say it's easily remedied with a good air freshener. For the Maadi, a 750cl beer, and the herbal tea, we paid €50. My conclusion is that I'd like to hear the opinion of an Eritrean to understand whether this is the authentic cuisine of that country and therefore not for me, or whether it's simply a culinary offering adapted to our country.

29/12/2024: Passing by chance in Valeggio we stopped in this place without a reservation, very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food as well as value for money... we will definitely be back

29/12/2024: The restaurant from the street does not present itself in an optimal way. Apparently we wouldn't have entered it. But we trusted the reviews and enjoyed an exquisite dinner at an affordable cost. The service was very courteous. Advised. Excellent stew and cod.

11/09/2025: Cappuccino and brioche €3.30 per table. Rich brioche filled with jam. A spacious place where you can also have lunch at very good prices. Tables are also available outside in the pedestrian area. Convenient bike rack. I will gladly return for lunch.

21/10/2025: Honestly, I expected much more, but it's a seaside resort. If you want a good coffee and a relaxing drink, this isn't the place for you. It felt more like a service station.

18/10/2025: The minced meat is very good, but it's a shame that in the morning you're served reheated meat from the night before... and you can taste the difference! It's not as good, especially because it's significantly drier! Given the price, they should always maintain the same standard of product quality, but that's not quite the case.

They were truly excellent, with well-balanced ingredients and perfectly toasted bread. The waitress was extremely kind, welcoming, and even pleasant in the right way. We ordered two freshly squeezed juices, which were truly delicious. High quality, impeccable service, and reasonable prices—a quick lunch break definitely worth repeating.

03/10/2025: The waiter's attitude was average, very average. He spoke English to us even though he knew we spoke Italian (which was not the point). When he gave us the bill, he said an English word that we did not understand. I said that we could speak Italian and there was no need to keep speaking English. He was a little surprised and then said with a little contempt: You don't speak English, English is international or something... The atmosphere was good and the food was OK, but the waiter was not so good.
