12/11/2024: Typical French restaurant, intimate, welcoming. I have been several times for dinner and I have always eaten very well despite being vegetarian, but my friends who are not vegetarians and come from outside the province specifically for it were also satisfied. The crepes are obviously the workhorse and for me it is really worth it to try them. The staff is kind, in a way. Fair price.

09/03/2025: A cooperative of women, who get involved in managing the "le vie" restaurant, and it works. The restaurant is in the courtyard of the church of Altino, near the archaeological park, parking is easily found. The place is welcoming, a large internal room and an external garden, open kitchen, clean environments and friendly staff. The menu is mainly fish, the fried food is very good. The desserts are good. Average restaurant prices. I recommend it

A pearl among the sestieri! 🌟 If you are around Venice and are looking for an authentic, welcoming place with a cuisine that conquers, write down this name: Al Muro ai Frari. We are a stone's throw from the majestic Basilica dei Frari and a few minutes from Campo San Polo, in a quiet but strategic area. A real gem for those who want to eat well while avoiding the usual tourist places! 🍹 Aperitif with style We arrived shortly after the evening opening and inaugurated the evening with an aperitif. I followed the waiter's advice and had a Rum and Cola made to perfection (perfect dosage, strong and fresh flavor). My friend chose a Spritz Select, the Venetian alternative to the more famous Aperol. Both promoted with flying colors! 🍕 Customized pizza? Yes, please! I wanted pizza, but not just any pizza. So I asked to make a custom one with buffalo mozzarella, raw ham and porcini mushrooms. The result? Divine. The dough was light, well leavened, and perfectly cooked. Every bite melted in your mouth! 🍽️ Venetian tradition on a plate My friend started with a classic: stewed cod with polenta. Soft, tasty, Venetian comfort food done properly. Then she continued with spaghetti with squid ink, which I gladly tried: tasty, creamy and not at all heavy. All cooked with care. 🍰 Perfect ending: the house tiramisu I couldn't have ended better. The tiramisu was a perfect balance between creaminess and the strong taste of coffee and cocoa. Classic, without frills, but done properly. 🏡 A welcoming place, even for locals The interior is modern and well-kept, with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The place was also frequented by several Venetians — always a positive sign! It had also been recommended to us by various shopkeepers in the area, and now I understand why. 💰 Honest prices (especially for Venice!) More than fair value for money. 13/03/2025: We ate well, excellent quality raw materials and a good selection of wines, attentive and fast service. The only negative note was that the bigoli, although good fresh pasta and probably made by them, were short or broken, in my opinion nothing like real bigoli. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

01/04/2025: Good sandwiches, cold cuts and salads in a simple place to drink a cold beer on the city's beautiful main square. A few steps away I recommend visiting Palazzo Roverella which represents an always interesting exhibition space.

04/02/2025: Excellent historic venue in the central square of Rovigo, with two internal rooms and a beautiful space close to the arcades. Good choice, well-made aperitifs but above all their toasts are excellent, the real pride of this bar. Ideal for both lunch breaks and aperitifs/after dinner with friends.
