04/10/2025: Delicious ice cream and very generous portions at reasonable prices! The latte macchiato is inexpensive and very good! The staff is super friendly! Highly recommended!

29/09/2025: First visit at the end of September 2025. Friendly, fast service, even in German. The ice cream seems a bit expensive at first, but once you try it, the taste and ingredients justify the price. World-class! The pastries are also very good, both in taste and price. Very tasty. I won't even comment on the coffee, etc. It's just the way it should be. A good stop. Highly recommended.

06/03/2026: This morning, March 6, at 8:00 a.m., I stopped by Bar Bauli on Viale del Lavoro in Verona to grab a takeaway for two minutes. The cashier was quick and friendly, but unfortunately, when I got home, to my surprise, I noticed that the cake was as hard as a loaf of bread, and the filling was truly minimal. I've never had anything like this happen to me, and I've been eating this cake for years! I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. I hope it was some oversight and not a drop in the quality of the product, which has been excellent so far.

04/11/2025: I went for lunch on October 29th. As a Sicilian, I can say it was superb. The arancini were fabulous, perfectly cooked. The risotto was perfect with saffron. The cooked calzone and mozzarella were super delicious. Not to mention the Sicilian cannoli. In short, for those who love Sicilian rotisserie, this is the place to be! I recommend it 😃

15/03/2026: We popped in by chance for breakfast before visiting Villa La Rotonda, and were blown away by the deliciousness of the chocolate, pear, and walnut saccottino, an excellent mix between a pain au chocolat and a strudel. So much so that we returned for lunch, almost at closing time, and were greeted with the same warm smile as we had started the day. We were satisfied with excellent toast and sandwiches made with 5-grain and charcoal bread. And we were convinced of the deliciousness of the desserts (with a selection of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options)—I wanted to try them all! We can only recommend it to everyone...and return as soon as we're back in Vicenza!!!

15/02/2026: Perfect breakfast! A cappuccino worthy of being called a cappuccino, the vegetarian option was also very good! Delicious croissants, both the vegan ones and the pear and chocolate one! The staff was extremely welcoming, they spoiled us with dessert samples, fantastic!!!

16/11/2025: The restaurant has a very beautiful and unique setting with columns inside. The appetizers are good, and the pork cheek is delicious, but I wouldn't order the Venetian-style liver with polenta again. There isn't much choice among the dishes, and the desserts are superb. However, I was disappointed by the lack of a glass swap between a glass of sparkling white wine and a glass of red wine. I find the price a bit high.

15/11/2025: We organized a hearty midday aperitif for 50 people. Everything was perfect: from the elegant and delicious appetizers served, to the hot dish, a superb vegetable lasagna, and the inevitable prosecco. A huge thank you goes to Matteo, who organized everything with care and professionalism. Well done!

27/09/2025: We stayed here as part of our hike on the Dolomites High Route 1. Unfortunately, the hut didn't really impress us, and that has nothing to do with its age. The dining room is very, very noisy. After a strenuous day of hiking, it's unfortunately not particularly comfortable to sit in. Perhaps some curtains, rugs, or panels on the ceiling would help?! Furthermore, the food ordering system is questionable. Only one person in the hut could take care of it. With a full hut, it took a correspondingly long time and dampened the spirits of the hungry guests. Furthermore, a lot of waste was produced during the meal, as absolutely everything (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.) was served in small portions. We know how difficult it is to bring things like food to a hut in the middle of the mountains, but here I would like to appeal to the environmental aspect, because a good solution can definitely be found for these things, also in the interest of the environment. The rooms were small and damp. Since we were there during a heavy rain, a lot of water leaked in through the window frame. The staff didn't seem to be new to the issue. It also felt like there were too many people at the hut for the restrooms, as there were constant lines outside. The sunrise the next day was somewhat reassuring, as it, along with the view, was magnificent.

26/02/2026: The appetizers were very good. I had takoyaki, vegetable gyoza, fried shrimp, and meat onigiri...all very good. Fantastic ramen. I recommend it.

26/02/2026: Let's start with a premise: I was skeptical about ramen. I'd only eaten it once, and I wasn't particularly impressed. So if I say I was pleasantly surprised, trust me. The menu is well-balanced between new dishes and classics, and overall I think they're well-executed. The place is very beautiful, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I hope to be back! 🍜

01/03/2026: We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had a great time; the staff was courteous and friendly. The place isn't touristy, and the prices are in line with those in Venice, so they're moderately high: we paid €96 for an appetizer for two, two main courses, and a glass of wine. The price also included an entree and cookies for dessert. I recommend it.

28/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! It's a complete rip-off, judging by the reviews. There was an initial order error with a starter I hadn't ordered. And the price-quality ratio is a complete rip-off! The starter was mediocre and expensive, with a tasteless truffle... and what about the main course! Some pasta was stuck together and undercooked, while others were overcooked, all mixed with an overly salty side dish and shrimp that seemed to have been reheated for the umpteenth time. In short, a hefty bill in every respect, for the worst culinary experience of my trip. Just keep walking; there are plenty of good places nearby.

10/01/2026: Constructive criticism, I don't mean to be rude, but we made a special trip, walking over half an hour to eat at this place, and when we arrived at 2:00 PM, they told us it was closed, even though Google says it closes at 10:00 PM. Therefore, I suggest you update the opening hours on Google to avoid misleading customers who want to go. Thank you.

04/01/2026: I went to try the pizza because it was highly recommended by a colleague. However, I won't go again. They probably get confused if you ask for something off the menu. My mistake was asking for a red pizza with potatoes and sausage to distinguish it from the white pizzas. It arrived without mozzarella, but I didn't think I needed to specify. My mistake. However, more than pizza, it was a cracker with four roughly counted pieces of sausage and four potatoes. I ate it because I was hungry and wanted to try the pasta. The only positive note was the kindness of the waitress. Before paying (and quite a bit), I expressed my opinion, but apparently the owner doesn't take criticism well.

08/09/2025: We spent many evenings here. The location is great, right on the main road which is closed to traffic from 8:30 pm. The cocktails and espresso are delicious. The bartenders know their craft, and you can see that they live and breathe their work. You absolutely have to try a cocktail here.
