28/08/2025: Simply wonderful. Da Aurelio gets it right at every level. A beautiful location with great staff and fantastic food. It was full of locals today celebrating a variety of events. Luigi and his team are absolutely charming and friendly. The gnochetti were delicious and the fillet steak stunning. A really good wine list and plenty of grappa to try at the end made for a thoroughly memorable experience.

I'm giving it two stars only because the restaurant was nice and the waiters were friendly, but paying €74 for about 1kg of Florentine steak that arrived cold was absolutely not an option. We obviously asked for it to be grilled, but since we wanted it rare, imagine the end result. Never again.

09/11/2025: We had dinner at this wonderful, very unique restaurant. The food was excellent, from the appetizer of fried tongue meatballs with pearà and salsa verde, to the fantastic beef stew with Amarone and polenta, and the sliced ​​pork tenderloin with apples and a licorice sauce reduction that paired perfectly. The desserts were very well made. The Ripasso di Ca dei Maghi was fragrant and beautifully bold, bringing back all the flavors of true Valpolicella.

The next day we stopped for a couple of focaccias in the dining area. Everything was delicious. The staff is very young, kind, and polite, and we were very impressed.

Once seated, we ordered our pizzas, and they arrived piping hot in a timely manner despite the restaurant being packed. The numerous staff are very attentive and attentive to their guests, meticulous and professional. The pizza is excellent, from the dough to the excellent toppings, perfectly cooked, a top-notch pizza. The restaurant is very welcoming and very clean, from the dining room to the bathrooms, which I would describe as excellent. In addition to the staff, who are always discreet but very present in the dining room, the presence and supervision of Mr. Rosario, the owner, is also appreciated. You can see, in addition to their commitment, their passion for their work. Congratulations! I can only highly recommend Acqua e Farina, which will delight your palate.

07/11/2025: Trattoria Caissa in Marostica is definitely worth a visit. We came here for lunch and felt warmly welcomed from the start. The restaurant is very clean, well-kept, and welcoming, with a family atmosphere. We chose the two-course lunch menu. For the first course, we enjoyed radicchio risotto, creamy and delicate, with the characteristic slightly bitter flavor of radicchio. For the second course, we had prosciutto with omelette, simple but very flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. For sides, we could choose baked potatoes or vegetables, and the menu price (€20) also included water or wine, which was a real treat. The lady who served us was kind and helpful—she showed us around the restaurant, including the first-floor dining room and the terrace, which in the summer is filled with flowers and offers a beautiful view of the castle. It was clear she was truly proud of this place, and rightly so. In conclusion, for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the hospitality, Trattoria Caissa is a place I highly recommend to anyone visiting Marostica and the surrounding area. We'll be happy to return.

11/10/2025: Poor food, the seafood was inedible. The prawns and scampi tasted of ammonia, the casing hadn't been removed, and the squid weren't disgusting, they were the frozen ones from abroad. A fried man would be better. Never again....Sad experience.
