25/09/2025: Located on Venice's eastern side, the Castello district is the largest and one of the least visited of the six historic sestieri. It is a working-class community, neighborhood, and peaceful atmosphere, where visitors can uncover hidden gems off the tourist trails, ancient landmarks, and quaint canals. Back then, osteria was more of an inn where travelers, tradesmen, and locals could come, take shelter from the cold, and enjoy their food. The word stemmed from oste (innkeeper) and from the Latin hospes (host). Fast forward to today, osterias are very simple restaurant-like venues serving a rotating menu, usually with some mainstays. Menus are often limited, handwritten, and printed or displayed on a large board. They have a very ‘homey’ feel to them, as you are probably rubbing elbows with locals. Therefore, they are affordable, for which my partner, our friends, family member, and I decided on Osteria Da Valentino. Situated on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, we were drawn by the available outdoor seating offering a picturesque view of the canal to create a magical cozy vibe for our last Venetian meal. For some of us, we decided on the Smoked Salmon Cicchetti, Green Salad, and Bruschetta as appetizers. For the main meal, we opted for the Eggplant Parmigiana, Spinach Ravioli, Vegetarian Pizza, and Linguini in Clam Sauce. We washed them down with Limoncello Spritz and Acqua Fissante. Complimentary bread started the meal. The food was very delicious, using the freshest ingredients and genuine authenticity. Our plates were beautifully presented. Not only was Kelly our server, but she was also the owner along with her team; they were friendly and caring to our needs. We were treated with Limoncello shots to end the night. Grazie di tutto! 23/07/2025: Everything was perfect. We tried the chef's menu and it was delicious. Not a single false note. We were even lucky enough to have the chef bring us the dishes. Bravo for the cuisine and also for the impeccable and very friendly service. One of the best restaurants.

01/05/2025: Consigliatissimo ! Piatti con ingredienti di ottima qualità preparati con maestria dallo chef Mauro, locale accogliente e molto curato anche nei dettagli, servizio eccellente. Scelta di vari menu, dell’orto, di terra, di mare, serviti con Verdure autoprodotte del loro orto sinergico. La trattoria è immersa nella natura a poca distanza dal paese di Piovene Rocchette. Il locale è rilassante per nutrire il corpo e anima. Complimenti Mauro e Bari, per la vostra passione e dedizione al servizio degli altri. Sicuramente consiglierò ai miei clienti di non perdere l’occasione di venire a trovarvi e noi… ci vedremo ancora.

21/09/2025: Excellent pub. As they say, good things come in small packages, and that's certainly the case with this pub. Excellent beer, excellent burgers, and above all, everyone was friendly. Congratulations.

05/10/2025: Everything was excellent, the food was excellent, the service was attentive and discreet, and finally, the price was fair. Well done, it's the second time we've been there and the impression is that they've improved even further.

15/09/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant in Verona. The focus on high-quality ingredients is evident. I recommend the risotto with truffle, red shrimp tartar, and burrata. Personally, I would have preferred a dessert menu with some innovations and not just the classics. Otherwise, a pleasant experience. Recommended!

11/08/2025: After five days of typical Austrian cuisine, predominantly meat-based, we settled on this sushi restaurant. It's located in the center of Salzburg, in a quiet inner square. The welcome, attentive service, and excellent food are exceptional. We highly recommend it!

28/09/2025: Went to this place with friends, the meat was really excellent, the Florentine steak was exceptional. The side dishes were also good, the wine was good, and to finish, a delicious tiramisu. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it's worth a try. 👌

I'm giving it two stars only because the restaurant was nice and the waiters were friendly, but paying €74 for about 1kg of Florentine steak that arrived cold was absolutely not an option. We obviously asked for it to be grilled, but since we wanted it rare, imagine the end result. Never again.

14/09/2025: Nothing to complain about, everything was more than satisfactory, from the service (a plus because 90% of the staff were very young, so they also give young people a chance to grow in the environment and advance their careers) to the food (generous portions, both in terms of the food itself and the seasonings; for example, I had the tagliatelle with truffle, which had plenty of both tagliatelle and truffle, truly excellent), I highly recommend it!

25/09/2025: The Lupo Rosso pizzeria in Pederiva or Grancona welcomes you with truly delicious pizza. The team is super friendly and makes you feel at home, and the place is very welcoming. Outside, there's a summer terrace that's a feast for the eyes, with a fantastic view. The only funny thing is that my pizza was a little burned on the bottom, but let's consider that a minor hiccup. In any case, the dough and pizza varieties are numerous, and everything is truly delicious. Highly recommended for an evening with friends!
