Muro San Stae is a very nice surprise! Locals and tourists flock there and it is better to have reserved your table in advance. The staff are helpful but don't joke about delays…
We are welcomed with the usual breadsticks and small grilled vegetables. On the plate side, it’s well presented and above all an explosion of flavors in the mouth! ✨
Special mention for the spaghetti with scallops and pistachio pesto. The plate is hearty, generous in scallops and the pistachio pesto is crunchy and tasty.
25€ for a starter and a glass of prosecco.

We had somewhat mixed feelings about the place. Really nice and authentic place with friendly staff and many choices on the menu and wine list.
The food was, in relation to the price, unfortunately not a great experience. We ordered homemade gnocchi and cicchetti, for the slightly higher price on the menu. The gnocchi was actually okay, but a bit boring and lacking compared to expectations and the cicchetti plate was very disappointing. The prawns which were 30% of the plate were overcooked, the rest was tasteless and redundant.
The wine and tiramisu were probably the best part of the experience. Good wine ethics and the tiramisu seemed authentic and tasted pleasant.

We treated ourselves to a meal at lunchtime, service was very quick, food was tasty and plentiful.

Excellent food, efficient service.
It's a shame there is only one bathroom and it's a bit small for the amount of people present, but it's not a problem.

Group of 6, service and food excellent, shared pizza to start and had ragu and lasagna for main - all was delicious and very reasonable.
