10/08/2024: Nice little restaurant, where we ate well and with a lot of curiosity for a particular dish of pasta with a blanket of "katsuobushi" (Japanese dried tuna) which gives an effect of movement. Efficient service and low prices. To be recommended.

09/08/2024: Intimate evening, excellent restaurant, everything fresh including the pasta made by them, excellent still white wine, friendly and easy-going owners with advice to give you.

04/08/2024: Conosciamo questo ristorante ormai da quasi 50 anni e continuiamo ad apprezzare gli antipasti con il loro prosciutto, lonza, salame e bruschette con paté di fegato (😋) e tante altre cose sfiziose, poi i primi e che primi(!), tagliatelle e soprattutto i tortellini al tartufo, i secondi con gli arrosti di agnello a scottadito, maiale e coniglio alla cacciatora, LE PATATE FRITTE, così particolari (mai mangiati così buoni da nessun’ altra parte), il pane umbro e poi i dolci, in particolare la crostata fatta in casa con la marmellata di visciole. Ormai frequentiamo questo ristorante insieme a figlia, genero e nipoti, tutti ugualmente entusiasti. Mangiando alla “Fontanella” andando a Roma poche settimane fa, abbiamo constatato nuovamente che con il passare degli anni l’alta qualità culinaria è davvero rimasta inalterata. Lo consigliamo vivamente!!

15/08/2024: I ate at this restaurant on August 15th. They have gluten-free availability for all dishes. We felt treated like at home, thank you Francesco for being able to advise us and for your customer care. As for the impeccable cuisine, everything is delicious with flavors in perfect harmony that explode when tasted. Baked pig with potatoes something indescribable. The desserts are also excellent. Fair bill with bitters offered.

15/08/2024: Attracted by a lady at the entrance we entered via Aic, truly exceptional fresh homemade gluten-free pasta, I ate the umbrichelli with sausage and mushrooms, really excellent, their gluten-free tiramisu was also really special, the staff were really friendly especially the lady at the reception. We will definitely be back

07/08/2024: Gianna herself opened her restaurant for lunch specially for us. The menu was handwritten. This place made us feel like visiting my grandparents which is cosy and warm. Food was good and plenty, antipasti and pasta. Make sure to bring cash because there is no internet making it impossible to pay via bankcard. Enjoy! Ancora grazie mille Gianna!

Lovely pool and stunning views

06/07/2024: Sono stato con la mia famiglia 4 giorni a Gubbio e ci siamo ritrovati per caso a mangiare in questo fantastico posto dove la tradizione culinaria la fa da padrone proprietari gentili cibo ottimo servizio impeccabile!!!

21/07/2024: We arrive at this place at 8pm, we queue since they don't take reservations, at least 25 minutes, when the owner's friends show up trying to skip the queue. When we point out that we had arrived before them, the owner still seats them and not only does they order before us. We decide to turn a blind eye given the half hour queue we had queued. When we were made to sit down and order, we noticed that these friends of the owners had eaten before all the diners present. The people who arrived after us eat, pay and leave, we still have nothing after about 1 hour. We decide to get up and leave and the owner not only made us pay for the drinks, which by the way we didn't even finish, but she also felt obliged to lecture us. Plus the terrible impression of scolding in front of all your employees for a lack of respect caused by this person. A shame.

31/08/2024: I have never eaten so well in Perugia, the waiters are very kind and the atmosphere in the alley wasn't exactly the best, however it was a nice lunch.

31/08/2024: Tagliatelle al tartufo with no flavor, tastes like absolutely nothing. There wasn't even any salt. Tagliatelle al porcini, it only had flavor because the little pieces of mushroom have a strong flavor. I make much better dishes at home, unfortunately I'm not on Airbnb, if I had I wouldn't have even gone out to dinner and fallen for it! Photo: beautiful, but ordinary!

24/07/2024: Delicious text cake....light and tasty at the same time! You can fill it however you want.... You can also take just meat. Drink included. Cozy place very well furnished in a particular way.. friendly staff Advised

18/07/2024: Unbeatable quality/price ratio. Noisy environment due to the place always being full. The food arrives a few minutes after you sit down. Excellent food, very basic place. We really like the testo cake with vegetables and sausages.

09/08/2024: We thought we would have a nice beer and something to eat here. When we arrived and ordered, our beer tasted and smelled like piss, from both of us. My girlfriend's is even dirtier than mine. The bun of the hamburger I ordered was so dry that it fell apart when I looked at it. The meat and the rest of the burger were tasty. But what shocked me most is that at checkout we had to pay €4 extra for 'a set table'... ridiculous!

27/07/2024: Excellent little restaurant in the heart of Perugia. The basement room is magnificent. The paccheri al fumo are exceptional.
