18/10/2024: Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere in the family-run restaurant. We had pizza and trout fillet, both highly recommended. Pizza is also available in “small”. The pizza base is super thin and crispy, the toppings are evenly distributed, the edge is just the right width. Plus Lagrein. Everything is available at really moderate prices. One of our regular restaurants.

08/03/2025: Very friendly staff and newly renovated structure are the highlight of this accommodation facility, we stayed on a weekend in March as a couple and the owners are very available to give advice on places to visit and how to reach them. Absolutely recommended.

15/03/2025: An authentic and unforgettable experience! I was at the Typical Restaurant at Dosarel and I must say that it was a pleasant experience from every point of view. The food is simply excellent: we tried the potato tortei with cured meats and cheeses, the canederli and the ravioli, and I couldn't really choose my favourite... they were all exceptional! The desserts are also good! But what struck me even more was the warmth of the place: you can feel the love and care behind it, from the history of the restaurant - born from an old stable transformed into a wonderful environment - up to the service, which was impeccable, attentive and incredibly kind. I felt welcomed as if I were at a friend's house, and this is a feeling that few places can convey. If you are looking for a place to enjoy quality typical dishes in an authentic and welcoming environment, this restaurant is a must try. I'm not from the area, but I will try to go back!

09/03/2025: We went for lunch today, the place is very nice. We took two potato cakes (18 euros each). They brought us some very good tortei (I would say a sufficient number). Too bad that the side dish was really poor: one slice of salami each, one of speck (there were two half slices each), a couple of slices of bacon and ham. Three pieces of cheese and a jam. A cup of borlotti and capusso (which I recommend bringing first because it is good if seasoned in advance). Two bites and we had finished the accompaniment. We asked if we can have some more cured meats and they served us another platter (a little more generous than the first). With this we ate enough. We had a glass of house wine which was good. At the checkout we realize that for the addition of the cold cuts they charged us 10.80 for a cutting board. If I ask if I can have some more cold cuts and you bring me a paid cutting board, you tell me. I have eaten tortei in the area many times and have never had them bring me two slices of cross-cured meat. The tortel in Val di is not famous and generally you eat a nice plate of it and they usually ask you if you want other tortei/companaticos without extra costs. After our complaint they kindly reduced the cost of the cutting board to 5 euros. I wouldn't stop because I don't think it's right to find myself in this situation. I would rather propose the tortel for a few euros more but I would give a portion that is not ridiculous. The diner will then decide whether to spend that money (but he knows this before ordering, otherwise you are forced to avoid leaving hungry)

10/12/2024: We specifically went to Knödelglück because we read the good reviews in advance. So we took a wonderful walk through Meran and then stopped at Knödelglück. Although we didn't have a reservation, we only had to wait a few minutes and were then given a seat with a fantastic view over Meran. The service was friendly and excellent. Then the food arrived and our high expectations were not disappointed! It was really excellent. Therefore, Knödelglück is an absolute recommendation and we would love to come back! If I had a little room for improvement, it would be great to have a typical children's meal on the menu (pasta or fries), but that's really just a personal wish.

08/11/2024: The food was really excellent! When asked, the boss reported how much love and precision the preparation of the dumplings started the day before. The dessert dumplings were also delicious. The portion will definitely fill you up, so dessert is more for sharing. The service could have been a little faster or more attentive. Great location and beautiful view from the terrace!

21/01/2025: I have been living in Tiers for several years and have visited Tschamin Schwaige several times. Unfortunately, I observed a few things that disappointed me. There seems to be a need for improvement, particularly in the area of ​​hygiene. For example, I have seen that tables and other areas of the kitchen are not cleared or cleaned until late. The smell in the kitchen in the morning also seemed unpleasant to me, which may be due to inadequate cleaning in the evening. The quality of drinks and food could also be optimized. Several times I noticed that juices that had been sitting around for a long time were being offered. That's a shame, because the ambience and location actually offer a lot of potential. I hope that this feedback is received constructively and helps to improve quality and hygiene. This would be a great benefit for tourists visiting Tschamin Schwaige.

Los bonitos, originales y sabrosos gueles de apertura también fueron divertidos y prepararon el escenario para el menú clásico. Los canederli en caldo de capón estaban repletos de sabor y una porción de tamaño perfecto que daba espacio para apreciar los platos restantes, incluido el venado más tierno infundido con ginebra Campiglio y té souchong Lapsang. La explosión final del sabor fue de 3 bombones presentados en una silueta de las montañas Brenta dibujados en caramelo. ¡Delicioso! Un placer maravilloso para las papilas gustativas en un escondite relajado y hermoso.
