06/10/2025: We only stopped for a short break during the Sasso Lungo/Sasso Piatto loop. The view is truly fantastic. It's worth stopping just to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the pretzel I ordered. It was probably frozen and they microwaved it for too long or at the wrong power. The fact is, it was burned inside in some places and toasted in others.

16/01/2026: Another culinary delight! THANK YOU Every time we visit Merano, we look forward to an evening at 357! After enjoying a delicious meal at Sissi with Andrea Fenoglio, we wanted to experience his second restaurant. Simple, understated, yet imbued with a special charm. The service and bar staff are incredibly friendly! The house wine is elegant, and the food is superb! Whether it's salads, lardo, pasta, pizza, or espresso, Italy feels right at home here!

05/01/2026: We've been to this place twice, trying both the pizza and the food. Both times, the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The platters, pizzas, and the Vera Cotoletta alla Milanese were completely satisfying. The craft beer is truly delicious, and both Rolly and the entire staff welcomed us with great warmth and professionalism. We'll definitely be back 🤗

03/12/2025: 🍎 Restaurant Pircher, Nals An absolute highlight on the Wine Route – Chef Christian is a legend! Restaurant Pircher in Nals is a gem! The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy, nestled amidst beautiful apple orchards. A perfect place to unwind. The food is excellent – ​​honest, hearty South Tyrolean cuisine that always tastes great. But what makes this place truly unforgettable is the hospitality: The service is warm and friendly. Chef Christian deserves special mention; he's truly one of a kind! His energetic and warm personality creates a personal and unbeatable atmosphere. In short: A must-visit in Nals! We always love coming back for the fantastic food and the unique hospitality.

The restaurant lives up to its origins as a refuge, combining hospitality, attentive service, and respect for the surrounding environment. Nature completely surrounds the structure, enhanced by multi-level terraces that allow guests to fully enjoy the view and the setting. The extremely courteous, attentive, and attentive staff guides guests through the menu and wine pairings. The highly interesting, never boring dishes showcase local products, expertly combining them. A large parking lot hidden behind the restaurant ensures accessibility to everyone. A must-try and highly recommended.

17/01/2026: Very nice place, but we were unsure about the food. We had ordered ribs and were served the bacon part. Obviously, the meat was very different from what we expected; it's different cuts.

21/12/2025: What a magnificent refuge! Nestled in the middle of the Corvara ski slopes, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Dolomites while savoring excellently prepared and delicious dishes. The service is quick, efficient, and very friendly, making you feel at home. I recommend the desserts, which are truly special. Thank you, Michela and all the staff. We'll be back.

09/12/2025: The best eggs, spelt, and potatoes in the Dolomites! I've eaten them everywhere, even at the mountain hut famous for this dish, and there's no comparison; these are hands-down winners. The tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù and the ones with venison ragù are delicious. Top! We'll be back.

04/03/2026: We've been going to the Hermitgae as a family for many years and it's one of my favourite hotels. Why? It's family run, big enough to have everything you need including a not huge, but swimmable decent indoor pool and spa, but small enough to be personal. The location is in a quiet wooded spot just outside Madonna with stunning views. Rooms are good and service excellent and there is a friendly minibus to take you into town or the lifts always available Most people go half board - the breakfast is excellent with delicious fresh breads, home baked patisserie, hams, salamis and mountain cheeses along woth perfectly cooked eggs to order, pancakes etc, yoghurts, fresh juices - only complaint is they could do with a decent museli, but you can order properly made porrage - and the coffee, top, along with teas. The dinner this year was the best we have had, strating with a grilled veg and salad buffet with hams, smoked salmon and cold roast beef, then choices of pasta/soup course, brilliant main course and stunning desserts - they also do excellent home-made tea time pastries included Madonna itself is medium-sized, low built resort full of, 3 and 4* family run hotels with some very good cafes and shops - the slopes are varied, maybe not Val d'isere, but pretty good with some v demanding blacks and excellent independent-run ski restaurants. Efficient lifts and snow making means conditions are always good, even though it sometimes gets busy at peak as the area is popular now with Poles and Czechs - overall, magical place, very friendly, the Dolomites beat the Alps in my view and as long as you are not into glitzy 6* spiv hotels, Bio Hermitage is the best you can get!

13/03/2026: We had lunch at the Lodenwirt Restaurant and felt very comfortable there from the moment we arrived. Although the restaurant was quite busy at that time, we were served surprisingly quickly. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional. You can immediately tell that hospitality is a top priority here. We were particularly impressed with the pizza. The dough was baked to perfection – beautifully crispy yet pleasantly light. The toppings were also of very high quality and perfectly balanced in flavor. Overall, a truly excellent pizza that we would order again in a heartbeat. We were also very impressed by the wide selection of dishes. In addition to pizza, there are many other options, including regional South Tyrolean specialties as well as various Mediterranean and Italian dishes. This means there's something for everyone on the menu. The ambiance also contributes to the positive overall impression. The restaurant feels cozy, well-maintained, and typically South Tyrolean, making you feel right at home and happy to linger a little longer. All in all, it was a very pleasant visit with excellent food and superb service. We highly recommend the Lodenwirt and will definitely be back.

09/02/2026: We booked an overnight stay at the Lodenwirt on our way to Kronplatz. The booking process and all arrangements for our group of seven were absolutely seamless and straightforward. The rooms were excellent – ​​clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. In the evening, we enjoyed some delicious pizza. Overall, everyone in our group was very satisfied. We would gladly return and can definitely recommend the Lodenwirt!

19/01/2026: If you want to eat typical, delicious, and plentiful dishes, this is the place to be. It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, and there's no kitchen crew, so the stars are related to the rustic, family-friendly atmosphere. I think it was the best dinner I've had in these parts, in any case. The dishes were beautiful and delicious, the house wine was up to par, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.
