05/03/2025: Nice but expensive bar, above all it has risen frighteningly in price in recent years. The two of us spent €40 on first courses and side dishes, I think it's more of a restaurant price than a bar one, even if the food is objectively good but not so good as to justify these figures.

04/02/2025: Today I went to this pastry bar for a cappuccino. Noticing the empty Florentine flatbread that I am fond of, I asked for a piece. The sales assistant gave me a tiny piece which, at a guess, must have been 30 grams, it had never happened to me nowhere is a portion like this, considering also that the empty Florentine Schiacciata is a very light dessert and for this reason the portions are never small to the eye. I also asked if a portion like this was normal, it seemed to me the doubt that maybe someone had been given a half portion and the other half was left. It really seemed like a joke, it's certainly unacceptable, the flatbread wasn't even good and it was also dry. The cappuccino on the other hand was good, but for 3.50 for a cappuccino and a microscopic portion of Schiacciata is really too much. A place that I don't recommend

Furthermore, there is an atmosphere of tension among all the staff, and this is what makes the experience not exactly pleasant. I don't know if the woman behind the counter is the owner or not, but it's clear how negatively she affects the other kids. And then he's really rude to customers and doesn't know how to deal with the public at all. Too bad for her. Reading the previous reviews you understand that it wasn't just my impression, both the general "discomfort" and the so-so food. And the responses given to the reviews are proof of the fact that they really don't know how to live in the world...

19/02/2025: Pleasant surprise, while traveling for work, I stop for a bite. Shopping center location but fast and friendly waiters. Bright and clean. I had a really delicious tuna steak. If I come back, I'll try other things.

06/02/2025: I have been a guest at the Gate hotel for some time now, nothing to say about the hotel for the price you pay it's fine. Unfortunately I would like to point out that the quality of the restaurant's dishes has drastically dropped. This has happened since you changed the Grill Chef. The one that was there before (beard + tattoos) served exceptional dishes. Now the quality of the grills, the quality of the side dishes (you served me a disproportionate quantity of unseasoned and oil-free baked potatoes, almost inedible) and also of the first courses (ravioli with butter and sage, truly disappointing compared to those of the previous year). I honestly don't understand this fact and I'm surprised that you haven't noticed this drastic drop in the quality of the dishes that you bring out of the kitchen. I don't know if I will return, also because Tuscan cuisine is impossible to beat! therefore when one goes to Tuscany one expects to receive the best.

15/02/2025: Ho preso 2 mini sandwich e mi sono seduta al tavolino, chiedendo una camomilla. Mi è stata servita una tazza di acqua calda con una bustina twinings, senza dicitura. Ho bevuto la bevanda, ma dal sapore era un tè, non certo una camomilla! Chieste spiegazioni, la barista di turno mi ha risposto che la camomilla non l'aveva e, senza chiedere il mio parere, mi ha servito quel che credeva. Professionalità: zero
