13/11/2025: Just steps from the historic center of Sansepolcro, this place, discovered by chance, is truly perfect for us. Beautiful, large, welcoming, elegant, with plenty of indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (air-conditioned covered patio) spaces, and that "bikers welcome" that says it all about the hospitality that extends to my world. Excellent menu with a varied selection of typical and traditional dishes. Excellent cuisine, tasty and plentiful. It's special to taste the first courses directly from the pan where they were sautéed, avoiding the plating and focusing more on the essentials than the frills. As is the soapstone under the grilled meat to keep it warm. Excellent solutions!! The highlight was the desserts prepared directly by the owner: truly delicious!! Let's just say that for what we paid, three of us ate well and were satisfied. Recommended!!

01/01/2026: Our wandering through Umbrian and Tuscan villages brought us to this osteria. Kudos to the manager for his friendly service, but especially to the food. We had pici al ragù and ribollita for starters, and then finished the meal with a delicious tagliata al lardo and grilled pork. We'll definitely return, and we'll definitely visit again if we pass through.

17/01/2026: I really like Locanda dei Baroni because it always has that extra something of a family feel. Naturally, being an old farmhouse, it doesn't have some of the services that others might look for, such as a TV in the room (which is why I gave it 4 stars). However, silence, fresh air, excellent food, a day there will rejuvenate you.

31/10/2025: Great authentic restaurant. Been coming with my colleagues for lunch while I am on a business trip in the area. Superb customer service, family atmosphere, food is great! Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to submerge yourself in true Tuscany spirit.

28/01/2026: We stopped for dinner on a long trip. The best choice! The food was amazing, the fresh pasta was incredible. The owner was so kind, he waited on us even though it was close to closing time. We'll definitely be back to try the meat and, of course, all the other pasta dishes!

11/01/2026: Passing through Naples on our way to Trentino, we stopped for dinner with 17 of us, finding space, hospitality, and authenticity. We ate everything from pasta to cured meats, meat, and some traditional dishes. The portions were generous and flavorful, but the added bonus was Massimiliano's presence and friendliness, which made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived!

16/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, no one greeted us or seated us. We were forced to sit alone. The order was a disaster because we asked for two types of dumplings and only got one. When we pointed out the mistake, they brought back the same dumplings. I ordered a chicken bao and got a calamari bao, with just two calamari rings. The service was extremely slow and rude. I asked for napkins, and after 20 minutes, they still hadn't arrived, and when I asked for them again, they threw them on the table, saying "toooo." Also, if you call the staff, they tell you "wait" and then you never see them again. Small place, inattentive and rude staff. I strongly advise against it: an absolutely negative experience. I agree with everything you wrote. Calling the evening "frantic" doesn't excuse repeated mistakes, constant inattention, and above all, rudeness toward customers. When asked "sugar?" and I answered "yes, two," they were brought two coffees instead of two sugar packets, further demonstrating a lack of attention. We sat alone because no one came to greet us. The ravioli I requested were two different types, and only one type arrived three times. The bao I ordered was chicken, not calamari. The napkins were thrown onto the table accompanied by a "too" gesture and tone that I consider unacceptable in any professional context, regardless of how one now attempts to downplay the incident. The owner's response, in tone, confirms exactly what I reported: rude attitude, zero self-criticism, and no desire to improve. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident, but a way of working.

13/02/2026: I tried several dishes and I have to say they were fantastic! The kimchi was amazing, the only flaw was that it was too spicy! If there was a less spicy version, it would be really perfect!

25/10/2025: I visited this place on the recommendation of some local customers. I was a bit picky with my requests, but they were met with patience and helpfulness. I found top-quality products at reasonable prices, and the countertop items, like chocolate, were also very interesting. I preferred to order at the counter to choose and sample multiple items and get a better feel for the place. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, unique products.
