In my opinion, this restaurant is excellent. It offers a variety of high-quality, traditional dishes. The house red wine was excellent, and the platters are varied and delicious. I also tried the pappardelle with wild boar sauce, which was very good and homemade. There's a lot of attention to detail, such as the free 130 Mbps Wi-Fi, which is convenient. They also have a digital menu via QR code. Very fast and friendly service.

I'll start by saying that the GPS takes you off track. The restaurant was kind enough to guide us directly to it, and it's already a great start. Beautiful restaurant in a piazza in Castiglione, clean and well-maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful. We ordered tagliolini with truffles to share. They brought it to us already plated in half ❤️ and the portion was truly generous and very well-made. Then we tried the fillet with pistachio honey and crispy pancetta: a buttery, excellent combination of flavors, superb. What can I say? Congratulations, we'll be back.

We've been to Gallo Nero several times, trying different dishes, and we've always had a great experience. The first courses are excellent, but the tagliata and pizza are also exceptional. I recommend this place for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere; the experience has always been very pleasant.

A fairly simple restaurant, but with good food. It was late at night and we had just arrived at our rented house. A great pizza and a good house Chianti. We finished with Vin Santo and Cantucci. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was good.

In this unique establishment in the center of Arezzo, you can both eat highly authentic dishes prepared with organic products and drink high-quality wine in a decidedly convivial atmosphere. At Lievito Madre, you can also purchase niche food products of truly exceptional quality. The owner, Mr. Paolo, is very kind and knowledgeable.
15/01/2026: Everything was delicious. The hand-chopped meat was sublime. The pizza dough, focaccia, and bread were delicious.
