14/09/2025: Pampering and relaxation!! The Hotel da Franco is a beautiful property: panoramic, clean, quiet, but above all "authentic"! We were greeted by the owner Paolo, who accompanied us from the pier to the hotel... Comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a splendid veranda overlooking the sea! Paolo is the real plus of the property: heart, passion, and so much kindness for his guests...a truly wonderful person, as is his staff...congratulations!

12/11/2025: We tried several different doughs, and they were all truly delicious: crispy dough, Roman, pinsa, focaccia pugliese, pizzolo, pizza with a crust, and finally the brioche. I found the crispy dough and the crust (just the right thickness and completely hollow inside) exceptional. The ingredients and combinations offered were also excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful, and above all, very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

11/09/2025: This review is made comparing Coccodrillo Burgers to a fast food place such as a McDonalds, not to a restaurant; if you want to go to a restaurant, you would be disappointed coming here, but if you want to go to a fast food place, you could be pleasantly surprised here. The portion sizes are large, the prices are low (you can order a menu, which includes a main dish, a portion of fries, and a drink for 0.50 Euros extra), and the quality is decent for a fast food place - especially considering it seems to be all made by one person! I personally enjoyed the (huge and tasty) hamburger (my girlfriend didn't like the bread so much, and true, it is different from the usual hamburger bread). The fries were fine, they tasted fresh and not sloppy. The Mexican wings were chicken wings (with bones) and some light seasoning (not spicy at all). The service was friendly, if a bit slow (but again, only one person seems to be working, so fully understandable), but the waitress was very nice.

24/11/2025: One of the worst experiences with restaurant service we've ever had. After ordering, they quickly brought us a plate of potato chips, but they were from the next table. We kept them because by the time they realized their mistake, we'd already started eating them. Then they brought us pizzas, but they were also from the next table. Having realized what was going on, we told them right away. They brought us two of the three appetizers we'd ordered: the potato waffles and (again!) the potato chips, which we obviously sent back because we'd already received them. There was no sign of the zucchini flowers (the third appetizer we ordered). The dishes arrived, and after a few minutes of waiting, we realized they'd forgotten to include a dish with our order (which, of course, we'll never see). Resigned, we asked the head waiter about the zucchini flowers. After asking us three times if they'd arrived, he returned with a waiter who (the icing on the cake) obsessively insisted he'd already brought them to us... as if, who knows, we'd tried to steal a second helping... or did he think we'd misunderstood what we'd eaten? The only bright spot in this total disorganization was the efficient and cheerful girl who brought the drinks. Change the dining room staff, or at least have them memorize the number and location of each table. The food was neither good nor bad.

15/11/2025: We booked the table at 10pm, we waited an hour outside because the table wasn't ready, after 15 minutes the waitress came saying that the chips and some pizza toppings were out, the pizza may be good but the service was awful.

01/10/2025: This became our go-to morning breakfast place on our recent holiday. Lovely friendly owners. I suspect you would have to try quite hard to find a bad coffee on Italy, but I particularly enjoyed the cappuccino from here, especially with the sea view. My partner really enjoyed the brioche/granita in the mornings, but I must admit I can't get on board with pudding for breakfast! Luckily they do a range of toasted sandwiches - all the ones I tried were delicious.

28/09/2025: What a great find. Really delicious granita for both of us. We tried the prickly pear which was a surprisingly tasty choice, and my husband had almond and cinnamon which was so unusual and delicious. The brioche bun was light and warm and had a hint of orange peel flavour. Wonderful place. And the staff were great
