15/01/2026: We return often, both in winter and summer, and as always, everything is impeccable: service, food, courtesy, and location...when passion translates into success, it's never a coincidence and should always be rewarded. Highly recommended. I recommend booking in advance; in winter, you often have to wait a few minutes to be seated without a reservation; the wait is well compensated. Prices are normal for a place where you can eat well.

14/09/2025: Delicious sandwiches, quality ingredients, absolutely fair prices, and a qualified and professional staff. This favorite sandwich shop has become a regular stop for us in Nardò. It's a truly well-maintained, high-quality establishment, with a great focus on customer service. The other night, the owner even prepared the Paulaner sandwiches before pouring them into a glass, carefully chilled, something virtually no one does around here. A detail that truly elevates the service. I'm not giving it 6 stars because 5 is the maximum.

11/02/2026: The waiter comes to the table and rudely confronts me after pointing out that a very simple first course (pasta) arrived almost an hour after ordering, in a very sparsely crowded restaurant (on a Wednesday evening). The fish and chips appetizer we ordered (€27) was devoured in 5 minutes, and the wait for the first course was 48 minutes, as stated by the same waiter to whom I mentioned our inconvenience (he was desperate to be right). Does this seem normal to you? We're not talking about a risotto with special creaminess and long cooking times, but a very simple first course, quite mediocre, I must say, especially the cacio e pepe with prawns; the ciceri e tria was definitely more decent. From the heated discussion that ensued at the table, in the presence of other customers who also received their dishes very late, as they themselves stated, they consider it perfectly normal for the dish to be served at the table so long after ordering. Considering the discreet atmosphere and the price of each dish, I don't think such unnerving wait times are normal, much less the staff's rude response to our disappointment. We've also noticed that they're very good at not caring and just running the cashier as if nothing was wrong! 👏

09/10/2025: An excellent experience. The fish was incredibly fresh and carefully prepared: the first course was balanced in flavor, the second course beautifully presented and rich in flavor. The glass of white wine, perfectly paired, enhanced each course. The service was attentive yet discreet, and the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. A restaurant that showcases the quality of its ingredients without being overbearing, ideal for a pleasant and relaxed dinner.

12/03/2026: We were there for a birthday, everything was very good, from the abundant starters to the first course, with a small disappointment they were fettuccine with mushrooms, the mushrooms were not that great but the mixed grill and the potatoes and salad on the side were all very good.

12/03/2026: The place is nice, but it's a shame the meat is dry and expensive. 4 balls of poor-quality bombettine (just bacon) were €12... Bombettine as big as my pinky nail... I hope tourists don't go, they'll ruin Puglia's reputation... P.S. The spritz tasted like nothing! Good beer!

The location is fantastic, a classy setting, spacious rooms with stunning paintings and furnishings, right in the center of Lecce, just a few dozen meters from the Chiesa dei Monaci. The menu is varied and of good quality. The fish and seasonal vegetables are fresh. The seafood linguine is excellent. The service is fast and attentive. Excellent value for money.
