31/05/2026: We may have been unlucky, given the positive reviews that led us to come, but the service was far from satisfactory. We were treated by the waitress in a rushed, almost annoying manner. There was a long wait not only for the pizza but even for the salad. The food was okay, but average.

06/05/2026: They make the best crepes in Lecce. The crust is delicious and soft, and the Nutella is generous. The prices are disappointing; €4 seems excessive to me. Shortly thereafter, they went from €3.00 to €3.50, and finally €4.00.

13/07/2026: We found ourselves ordering takeout pizzas for a family event. We were coming from Lecce, so we "trusted" them... and we were right; since my husband has celiac disease, we had no problems. Excellent, easy-to-digest pizzas, and very friendly staff. The owner even let us try some of their homemade gluten-free taralli. Excellent. We returned yesterday, had dinner there, and also tried the gluten-free and lactose-free tiramisu, which is also made with pasteurized eggs... Excellent! Very good. Kudos to the owner for the quality and kindness. We'll be back.

11/07/2026: Terrible. Ordered on Deliveroo because it had a 30-minute wait, making it preferred to other places. Delivery is untraceable because it's handled directly by the pizzeria. Delivery was an hour late, 1.5 hours after ordering, only after a phone call. I was told to be patient because it's Saturday. This isn't something I should be concerned about, but rather the restaurant's management. My payment was completed promptly. If you can't do something, you shouldn't do it. Setting the wait time to 30 minutes is incorrect.

22/04/2026: I discovered this place by chance and was truly impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the staff is always kind and helpful. I tried the eggplant parmigiana and the meatballs in tomato sauce: both were delicious, reminiscent of home cooking: you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. Also excellent for a quick lunch or an aperitif with friends. Highly recommended 👍🏻

20/04/2026: The octopus pignata has no taste, it's fatty; the special salad is made with canned mushrooms, they have too much juice, and the same is true for the artichokes.

17/07/2026: Going to visit a friend in Lecce, he took me to this restaurant. I don't know whether to call it a trattoria or something else. However, the welcome was certainly nothing to complain about. Mr. Sabino welcomed us with great empathy and joy. Let's start with the location: a little dated, small, and a lot of old junk thrown here and there, which honestly I don't know how long it can please people. I mean, there are some objects, but thrown here and there, and that's another thing. Let's move on to the food: at least for my taste, nothing that could have warmed my heart. The portions of some dishes were a little meager, but not meager in price. In fact, for the cost of some dishes, I would have expected something more generous. My final opinion: if this place has won 4 restaurants, I imagine that after the victory, it got a big head and lowered its quality... I don't want to say that the quality was poor... But certainly, as I reiterated, it didn't leave an impression on me. I paid for 5 appetizers, 3 first courses, and 3 second courses with 3; bottles of water €210 ... I would have expected at least at the end, WOULD YOU LIKE A COFFEE? And I repeat, this is my opinion, maybe someone else will like all this...

11/02/2026: The waiter comes to the table and rudely confronts me after pointing out that a very simple first course (pasta) arrived almost an hour after ordering, in a very sparsely crowded restaurant (on a Wednesday evening). The fish and chips appetizer we ordered (€27) was devoured in 5 minutes, and the wait for the first course was 48 minutes, as stated by the same waiter to whom I mentioned our inconvenience (he was desperate to be right). Does this seem normal to you? We're not talking about a risotto with special creaminess and long cooking times, but a very simple first course, quite mediocre, I must say, especially the cacio e pepe with prawns; the ciceri e tria was definitely more decent. From the heated discussion that ensued at the table, in the presence of other customers who also received their dishes very late, as they themselves stated, they consider it perfectly normal for the dish to be served at the table so long after ordering. Considering the discreet atmosphere and the price of each dish, I don't think such unnerving wait times are normal, much less the staff's rude response to our disappointment. We've also noticed that they're very good at not caring and just running the cashier as if nothing was wrong! 👏

23/06/2026: Plentiful and inexpensive with good German beers and friendly young staff who very kindly attempt English when our Italian fails us! We went twice. Salads are wonderful 😊

08/03/2026: IT IS NO LONGER THE FAMOUS BAR DA PAOLO OF THE PAST, while you are having an aperitif or breakfast, there is an invasion of pigeons that walk under the tables, breakfast is expensive and aperitif is very expensive, the calzone like the pasticciotto pugliese are no longer as good as they once were, TO AVOID There are many superior ones, clean and with an excellent balance between price and quality

19/05/2026: Every time I return to Taviano, the best pizza I get is at Ciccio Panza. In the summer, with the outdoor tables overlooking the square, it's gorgeous.

22/03/2026: A beautiful location, with majestic star-shaped vaults. We ate well, especially thanks to the all-you-can-eat option, which allows you to choose from a variety of appetizers, first courses, second courses, burgers, and pizzas. The staff was courteous and professional.

31/05/2026: Delicious pizza, thin crust, very flavorful. It's definitely worth trying. I highly recommend the carbonara, my boyfriend and I think it's one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The Margherita is also very good, unlike any other Margherita we've ever had. The wine we ordered was also great. The service was super attentive and cheerful, the waitress was always smiling.
