28/02/2025: Very nice place in the historic center of Lecce but a little away from the crowds. Helpful and welcoming staff. Christian and Benny pampered us and took note of my intolerances. The pizza was super! Very light and well-leavened dough with sweet and delicate raw meat. Very fast service. Too bad it's our last evening in Lecce otherwise we would have returned. Well done!

15/03/2025: I regretfully have to express our latest experience at this place. Let me start by saying that we are regular customers, in the sense that we go for lunch once/twice a week! In the last two months, just because a good friendship was created with a waiter, every time we crossed the threshold of the place we were laughed at and made fun of!!! (I would be called, your friend) Dishes that arrive on the table flying, thrown by a waitress and then run away. Competition between colleagues! They shout at each other that everything can be heard in the room. We place the first order as always and everything is ok! at the second order we notice something strange in the Philadelphia, we point it out and the owner, and the kitchen staff shout and abstain that by now they have prepared them and we had to eat them! Summary we all felt bad!!!! I just want to remind the owner that the customer should not be treated like this, and if the waiter entertains the customer with a few friendly chats it is synonymous with education and humility! reluctantly never again!!!!

05/02/2025: Very nice and welcoming location. The cuisine is very good and the dishes well presented. Each table is equipped with a tablet to browse the menu and order independently. Good and fast service. With the All you can eat formula you can taste everything.

21/12/2024: Very delicious food, very good prices, beautiful views, the owner very friendly, the Italians are wonderful, if they hear you speak Spanish they immediately change and try to speak to you in your language... Grazie!!

21/10/2024: Quando abbiamo voglia di una buona pizza torniamo sempre alle Currenti...questa volta siamo andati Fuori Menù lasciando libertà al pizzaiolo e il risultato è stato pienamente appagante: ingredienti che probabilmente non avrei mai scelto, ma mixati egregiamente per un risultato che ricorderò nel tempo piacevolmente!...Peccato che la stagione è finita...attenderemo con ansia l'arrivo della prossima per ripetere questa eccellente esperienza gustativa. 😋

02/03/2025: "Safe harbor". This would be the right description I would give to this restaurant that I have been frequenting for several years. The place is quiet, the managers friendly and professional. The dishes are simple but very good and also plentiful. It is located on the seafront of Otranto. Fair prices for what you eat. We recommend it!

04/03/2025: The beauty of the location is not equal to its management. I found the costs of the dishes exaggerated especially in relation to the quality and quantity. It was a negative experience that I will not repeat.

27/02/2025: I had dinner with 5 friends on a rainy evening; despite this, ours was the only occupied table throughout the evening. The menu speaks for itself: first courses and risottos not up to the €18 per dish spent, as are the starters, neither excellent nor plentiful despite the €20 per portion, which then became per person. Price of wine €22 per bottle, definitely exaggerated. Total: €60 each for a starter and a first course. Service nothing special for a restaurant with a historic name in the city. We were disappointed, we will hardly return.

12/03/2025: ABSOLUTELY worth visiting if you find yourself passing through Lecce and specifically through Piazza S. Oronzo. I highly recommend setting aside at least 15 minutes of your time to enjoy the beautiful location, very elegant and particular, while sipping a typical Lecce coffee accompanied by pasticciotto filled with white cream... a real treat!! Everything to discover on the lower floor, amazement and wonder. Great appreciation must also be given to the staff who welcomed us with affection and kindness. Absolutely a must do!!! Highly recommended for both the palate and the eyes!!

12/03/2025: Delicious pasticciotto which, accompanied by Leccese coffee, gave a sublime sweetness to my palate. Compliments for the bar which is elegant and well managed by friendly staff attentive to satisfying every type of customer. I recommend it to everyone!

04/03/2025: Il locale è un caos ordinato, come l'antiquario (ex), che intrattiene amabilmente e con esperienza gli avventori, la cucina è favolosa, a partire dagli antipasti di verdure. Il servizio è informale ma attento. Ogni suggerimento sul cibo e sul vino va accolto come prezioso per un'esperienza indimenticabile nel centro di Lecce.

18/02/2025: Prenotato con largo anticipo per la cena del nostro we Leccese, l'ambiente particolare e molto spartano con i muri pieni di ricordi e dediche dei clienti , la simpatia del cameriere fanno già tutto, abbiamo scelto i piatti dalla lista ma poi su consiglio ci siamo fatti ammaliare dalla descrizione dei piatti " fuori menù" e quindi li è ricaduta la scelta. Siamo rimasti decisamente entusiasti e pieni ( hi hi hi) w la simpatia e la buona cucina 10 e lode

17/02/2025: Poor starter with pre-packaged, frozen and poorly served industrial fish products. The oil from the seafood salad, if it can be called that, got mixed with the cured meats and the fried food, creating a mix that I strongly advise against, a sad discovery... Excellent and well cooked pizza, big flaw in the catering department.

14/08/2024: Not full 5 star but better then 4. 38 eur for two well feeded customers with drinks and 2 courses of meal. Staff of two people, cheff and friendly waitress. Managed the whole restaurant. Others could learn something from them... We had some small lokal dishes first and then two rich pizzas and drinks. The place is not the top but you come to eat and to feel and thats what you get... We will came back...

15/03/2025: You speak well but you speak badly, lady, they are all sophisticated by making you choose a "range" of time in which they deliver your pizzas and the deliveries never arrive on time, the review is due to various episodes of delay. The lady who answers the phone is extremely irritating and full of herself. There is better above all PUNCTUALITY IS A SIGN OF PROFESSIONALISM, and both things are in short supply here. NOT RECOMMENDED.

05/03/2025: We took pizzas with mushrooms 🍄 we felt terrible due to intoxication. The owner reports having put them raw (worse than that...). I don't know if we will give this pizzeria another chance.
