23/09/2025: Ridiculous prices for nothing special pizzas. Takeout is extremely expensive.

07/09/2025: We sat at the table for an hour and still no pizza. We mentioned this to the waiter twice, and each time they responded with a vague "they're in the oven." After another twenty minutes, we were still there, with empty stomachs. Service like this is unacceptable: slow, disorganized, and zero customer service. A ruined evening.

30/08/2025: We usually love this pizzeria, but this time I was deeply disappointed. The pizza by the slice (€3.00) had a hollowed-out edge that was soggy (see photo and video), and the piadina roll (€3.50) was completely undercooked: absolutely unacceptable. It's a shame, because I wasn't expecting such poor quality from a place where I'm used to eating very well.

27/08/2025: Authentic Neapolitan pizzeria, the waiters are extremely kind and friendly, the food is truly excellent, and the wait is short even when all the tables are occupied. I've been there several times and it's never disappointed. The place is very beautiful and welcoming, both inside and out on the terrace. I highly recommend it!

21/09/2025: I was truly impressed with this place! As soon as you walk in, you sense an authentic Bavarian atmosphere. The space is spacious and welcoming, ideal for both dinners with friends and family evenings. The menu offers a wide selection, as does the beer list. The portions are generous and the prices are fair, offering excellent value. A perfect place for those who want to enjoy traditional flavors and drink excellent beer.

21/09/2025: The reservation was at 10pm but we had to wait 56 minutes to be seated at the table, but the food was very good.

09/07/2025: Big Ben was truly a great discovery! They have a very welcoming room but I recommend takeaway. I've tried practically a bit of everything and I can say that everything is very good. Surely what I liked the most are the pucce and the burritos... SPACE! Super mega recommended! PS: a big applause for the wheel of fortune appetizer that rewards you with a coupon if you eat it all!

07/07/2025: We are a Scottish family visiting the area on holiday. We visited Big Ben for takeaway. Unfortunately we were not able to download the app as not available on our UK-based phones. We visited the premises, and were told it was a 40 min wait. Ok I understand when places are busy. But was actually 75 mins. And the food was not very hot once received, and the order was incorrect (only realised once home). May have just been a bad night.

14/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant, drawn by the positive reviews. We ordered peppered mussels, maritati scattirisciati, and, after confirming the freshness of the fish, orecchiette with turnip tops and shrimp. The mussels arrived already opened—which immediately raised our suspicions. And in fact, they had no flavor and a mushy consistency; they were not fresh mussels. So much so that we left them, and the same waitress confirmed that, if someone in the kitchen tasted them, they were "unworthy" and would not be included on the bill. The first courses arrived: the maritati scattirisciati were completely runny, while the orecchiette contained no shrimp at all: just three small shrimp, which I'd dare say were frozen given their lack of flavor. The bill: these delicacies, two glasses of rosé wine, and a bottle of water for a whopping €50. The first courses were €30 for two, but we didn't have a receipt, so I don't know how the remaining €20 was split. To top off the evening, the POS terminal WASN'T WORKING, and we had to withdraw cash to pay for this dinner, risking hospitalization. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

23/07/2025: Thanks to Chef Gianluca, we had the opportunity to appreciate the local flavors and his warm and professional customer service. Everything was excellent. We'll be back.

03/06/2025: We happened to be passing by and were thrilled. Fernando, the head waiter, gave us great advice and we trusted him. The octopus in a pot was exceptional. We will return

11/07/2025: Semplicemente, bravissimi!! Terzo anno di seguito che durante le nostre ferie estive veniamo una sera a cena all' agriturismo San Martino. Riconfermo pienamente l' ottima recensione degli anni scorsi. Materie prime di altissima qualità, molte prodotte in casa. Ottimo servizio. Pomodori secchi, mai mangiati così buoni. Eravamo in 11 e i giudizi sono stati umani!! Complimenti! Ovviamente per noi , consigliatissimo.

09/09/2025: We wanted to try some truly authentic food, away from the tourist hotspots. Our expectations were far exceeded. Friendly staff, good and patient advice, and delicious pizzas. And of course, there are always some complainers. In any case, we enjoyed our meal and will be back.

07/09/2025: The restaurant and pizzeria is located in a charming little square in front of the 1595 Duomo. The manager and staff are very helpful and kind. The traditional first courses are very tasty and delicious. The quality and price are appreciated.

21/09/2025: We ate at this restaurant after seeing it on a TV show. Located in the center of Lecce, it's easy to reach on foot through the narrow streets of this beautiful city. Welcoming and very sumptuous, truly beautiful to look at, to my taste, although the presence of so many objects hanging here and there makes it impossible to clean effectively, with traces of hidden dust. Otherwise, the restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms. Fast service, always very helpful and friendly staff, including the owner's husband, who is very friendly. The menu is quite extensive, featuring typical local dishes, lovingly cooked by the owner. I wasn't impressed by the orecchiette, a typical Apulian dish; it was good, but not memorable. A simple, homemade appetizer, a must-try for anyone who wants to sample some of Lecce's local products. For my second course, I had strips of meat with arugula and parmesan, and I must say it was truly delicious and flavorful. For dessert, I couldn't resist the tiramisu, my favorite, but I have to give this one a failing grade...what a shame. The prices are a little high, but we're in the center of Lecce, so no complaints. My review is purely personal, so I invite you to visit the place and decide for yourself, because it's worth it.
