10/01/2025: Ottimo posto per una pausa pranzo, tra focaccia barese e ripiena e piatti pronti. Personale gentile e cordiale. Ogni volta che ci passo nelle mie andate a Bari mi fermo per gustare le focacce.

14/12/2024: I was surprised when I was told the price to pay... 3 ounces of dry pastries for 13 euros... basically 40 euros per kg... If it's a mistake, let me know and I'll change the review... Edit: Edited after the owner's response. I couldn't find the price sign and thought they were priced by weight. The desserts were very good and fresh but still overpriced.

18/03/2025: We went to Gran Bistrò di Modugno on an evening with friends and we were pleasantly surprised. The place is really well-kept, with a warm and modern atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The spaces are welcoming, tastefully furnished and perfect for both an informal dinner and a more special occasion. The service deserves a special mention: the staff is attentive, helpful and manages to convey that genuine courtesy that makes the difference. Always present at the right time, without ever being intrusive. The culinary proposal is interesting, with well-made dishes and correct portions. We found the quality good and the menu varied, capable of satisfying different tastes. The prices are absolutely in line with the experience offered, honest and justified by the environment and the service. Ultimately, an excellent choice if you are looking for a place to spend a nice evening in company, with the certainty of being welcomed and served in the best possible way. We will definitely be back!

07/04/2025: We had lunch during a trip, we were about fifty people. The food was excellent, they were very quick and the staff were extremely courteous. All in a truly characteristic environment. Highly recommended

Barrel vaults, soft lights, vinyl records and a small library, vintage furnishings like the musical selections. Courteous and smiling service. We played the board games while sipping an excellent gin and tonic...welcoming with panache!

03/11/2024: Later edit: No, there was no concert at the moment. We asked for the menus at the bar and nobody told us to come back and order at the bar. What’s the point in printing lots of menus, since you need to place the order at the bar? Anyway, we suggest you should read the rest of bad reviews. They share the same disappointment: the place looks cool, having the hipster vibe we always look for, except the staff is not nice at all. Besides these, the lady at the bar came to the table next to us, for checking if people needed something else and still ignored us. If the order needs to be placed at the bar, why did she do such a thing and didn’t bother to tell us how things work?Wasn’t obvious we have not seen the sign about the order placing? ************************ We waited for 10 minutes to order, although we made eye contact to the waitress multiple times. She just ignored us. Nobody gave us any attention, we had to ask for the menus to the bar and finally decided to leave. The service is below standards but the place looks really nice and welcoming. It was a disappointment. We walked a few minutes and found another nice bar.

25/03/2025: I contacted them a few days before my birthday, they were super helpful and quick in responding to my requests and above all in advising me on the weight and size of the cake which, in addition to being beautiful, was also very good. Super recommended!

29/12/2024: Una serata semplicemente indimenticabile da Vento del Sud! Sono stato con la mia famiglia e un gruppo di amici, e fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti in un’atmosfera calda e familiare che ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Il momento clou? Una pizza di ben due metri, cotta alla perfezione e condita con ingredienti freschissimi e saporiti. Una vera opera d’arte! Per concludere, i dessert artigianali sono stati una dolce sorpresa: preparati direttamente da loro, si sentiva tutta la genuinità e l’amore nella preparazione. Un grazie speciale ad Andrea e al personale per la gentilezza e l’attenzione ai dettagli. Non vedo l’ora di tornare! Consigliatissimo per chi vuole vivere una serata speciale e autentica.

18/03/2025: Convenient location to reach and nice place, the acoustics less so, because of the barrel vault the music is difficult to hear. The food is edible but nothing special. The service is slow and uncoordinated, even though there is a lot of staff it seems like they are running up and down the place like a top. You need to organize the service and how to serve.

17/03/2025: As soon as we arrived for St. Patrick's night, they sat us at a table attached to the speakers with a light coming from underneath that blinded our eyes. We asked to be moved, the room was still completely empty, but the waiters were not helpful with us at all. In the end, we said we were leaving and finally they changed our table. This time too, it didn't go well, they moved us under a high window that they absolutely didn't want to close, we spent the evening with our coats on because it was too cold. The music couldn't be heard at all, because we were in another room, even though the waiters had assured us otherwise. An evening that had nothing to do with St. Patrick's and Ireland... zero professionalism and availability. We ordered chips with sauce on the side, but they brought us chips drowned in sauce. Then we ordered pizzas, which were definitely expensive, they weren't bad, even if they were very hard to digest. We definitely won't be back again.
