26/07/2025: The orecchiette alla leccese and the Luchino pizza are delicious. The almond and fig spumone is fabulous.

24/07/2025: Arrogant waiter, unfriendly, and condescending. They should think about who brings in the money and who should just be grateful that tourists come in the summer. Absolutely not recommended. There are better restaurants nearby!

31/07/2025: Order the chicken sandwich, got a beef sandwich. Told the place that I got the wrong order after it took 30 minutes for the food to come. Food was called. Ended up getting charged for the meal I never ordered.

31/07/2025: Simply disgraceful, even less than a star. We waited a quarter of an hour for an order, which we only took because we quickly flagged down a rude and distracted waiter; otherwise, who knows how long we would have waited. Among other things, I ordered a muffin, which was absolutely inedible, old, hard—I've never seen anything like it. Maybe that's why they reheat them for five minutes, so you don't immediately realize how old they are. I'll never return, and I highly recommend this bar. In the end, you even pay a euro each for absolutely late and inadequate service.

22/07/2025: Inedible raw, ravioli comparable to a gummy bear. I'm sorry, but I've never eaten such horrible AYCE sushi. Not to mention the post-dinner effect, nausea and disgust are two perfect adjectives to describe the quality offered!!

10/08/2025: I went to SanBé for the entire week of my stay in Polignano, and I have to say, highly recommended! Both for the quality and the atmosphere, the staff serving you are all very professional, especially Giulia, who makes breakfast. She's very good and attentive to the customer's needs! I'll definitely be back!

04/05/2025: It's 3:37 am and I just got home from the emergency room! I had asked for a lactose-free crêpe with dark chocolate, not with Nutella, because I'm allergic to dried fruit. As soon as they delivered it to me, I asked if it was dark, to make sure I could eat it. They tell me everything was ok. After eating part of it, I started to feel very ill, I took the antihistamine at home, but it had no effect and I ran to the emergency room, where they gave me an IV and tests. It turned out to be a strong allergic reaction, therefore the lack of attention from the staff was very serious. It is important to be careful about CONTAMINATION or INGREDIENTS… when a customer exhibits allergy/intolerance. Really SERIOUS, I went through 3 hours of hell, I won't go back again. From complaint!

12/08/2025: I've been to this place and bought some panzerotti. Unfortunately, one of the panzerotti must have gotten a hole in it while frying it, and it was clearly inedible. However, the owner, a very honest and professional person, understood the situation and replaced the product. P.S. I'll be back. I highly recommend the product.

09/08/2025: In a corner of the square there is this nice and welcoming place where you can eat the typical Apulian panzerotti in many different types and doughs, all delicious and good, the service is typical for a quick bite but well organised, the price/quality ratio is right, the shame is the size of the panzerotto that finishes quickly, you should eat two... recommended for everyone

La pasión y la alegría eran evidentes en cada bocado compartido por el dúo dinámico madre e hijo. Nos sirvieron tantos platos deliciosos que perdimos la cuenta! Todo fue pagado con un vino local encantador. Todo era excepcional, fresco y claramente cocinado con amor. La pasta casera era tan bueno! Las combinaciones de comida eran tan interesantes y auténticas para la región - y oh que el pan y la carne de res estofada en vino - - que soñamos con ella esa noche. Finalmente, se ofreció un poco de cerveza casera "del diablo" como licor ignífugo para terminar una comida perfecta. Gracias mamá por una comida maravillosa. Sentíamos como si estuviéramos cenando en tu casa.

02/07/2025: Disappointing in every way – an experience to forget at “Le Bistrot” in Monopoli There are gastronomic experiences that leave a mark. Unfortunately, the one I had at Le Bistrot, in via Lepanto in Monopoli, was memorable only in a negative sense. From the first impact, the place appears chaotic and untidy, with a level of cleanliness that leaves much to be desired. The dominant impression is that of superficial and careless management, which is reflected both in the environment and in the service. The staff, more busy chatting among themselves or serving with obvious precedence a table reserved exclusively for employees, seems almost annoyed by the presence of customers. The atmosphere you breathe is that of someone who serves you out of duty, and certainly not out of passion or professionalism. Attention to the customer is almost zero: courtesy and hospitality are unjustifiably absent. As for the food, the judgment does not improve. Dishes without identity, lacking care, with questionable raw materials and an approximate presentation. I don't think I've ever eaten worse in a place that presents itself as a bistro. The result is an overall experience that borders on embarrassing. In a city like Monopoli, full of valid alternatives, Le Bistrot represents a missed opportunity from every point of view. Rating: strongly negative. Not recommended.
