04/05/2025: It's 3:37 am and I just got home from the emergency room! I had asked for a lactose-free crêpe with dark chocolate, not with Nutella, because I'm allergic to dried fruit. As soon as they delivered it to me, I asked if it was dark, to make sure I could eat it. They tell me everything was ok. After eating part of it, I started to feel very ill, I took the antihistamine at home, but it had no effect and I ran to the emergency room, where they gave me an IV and tests. It turned out to be a strong allergic reaction, therefore the lack of attention from the staff was very serious. It is important to be careful about CONTAMINATION or INGREDIENTS… when a customer exhibits allergy/intolerance. Really SERIOUS, I went through 3 hours of hell, I won't go back again. From complaint!

27/05/2025: Back for the second/third time in this place, I can only confirm the good impressions of the past times. Very fresh fish (the tuna carpaccio with sublime dehydrated egg), excellent first courses and beautiful wine list. As a colleague I can only compliment these guys. See you soon

02/05/2025: The place is not too big but the quality of the ingredients is so high that it is rare in most pizzerias. We got two pizzas, a coke and a Hacker beer. Total price 28.50 (Diavola 9, frankfurters and chips 9.5, coke 2.5, hackers 3.5, covers 2 euros each). Everything is fantastic but I want to leave some advice to the pizzeria: in my opinion the menu is too short, only the particular things are there and for example the classic pizzas are missing because they are taken for granted... I didn't like this. Secondly, the tomato purée on the pizza had whole pieces of tomato, in short for many it may be a plus point, but for me it wasn't the best because on a classic pizza I would prefer it very velvety. Apart from this, top quality and excellent cleanliness of the place. We will definitely be back!

29/05/2025: Too noisy if you go during lunch time. The food is good if you go with the thought of grabbing something on the fly.

Jolie surprise que ce restaurant 😊 nous avons été très bien accueillis, le cadre est sympatique et joliment décoré. J'ai degusté des orechiettes délicieuses. je recommande vivement ce restaurant à l'écart et au calme du village 🥰 Merci j'y retournerais avec plaisir si je retourne aux pouilles un jour.

08/05/2025: Este restaurante se encuentra en el barrio de cerámica de Grottaglie, perfecto después de un paseo por las tiendas y estudios. Estábamos sentados con todos los demás en el patio delantero, que es un bonito entorno al aire libre. El servicio es muy bueno y nuestro camarero era muy amable y servicial. Elegimos un almuerzo "crudo" de ostras, gambas y atún, con vino local. Estaba bien presentado y delicioso. Había muchos otros platos que nos hubiera gustado probar y sin duda volveremos a visitar este restaurante en nuestro próximo viaje.

26/05/2025: Exceptional food and service Such wonderful welcoming Husband and Wife who cook from the heart! Finding ourselves in Acquaviva on Easter Monday night we stumbled across this restaurant. They were not open yet but they came out when they saw us looking to let us know they would be opening soon. When we came back they had a table ready to go for us with exceptional service and wonderful super delicious regional dishes. They were even able to accommodate our overtired 7 year olds wish for chips and chicken with traditional cotoletta and hand made chips. If you find yourself in Acquaviva, Puglia make sure you eat at Trattoria da Ismet!

16/04/2025: I discovered it by chance while passing by on the street, I had a cappuccino, a mini Neapolitan pastiera with chocolate chips and a nuns' tit, both really delicious and tasty sweets. Friendly staff. If I return to Bari I will definitely stay here again.
