11/10/2025: This was an odd experience. Most importantly, the food is delicious, wonderful in fact. Exactly what I wanted - a taste of Lecce. We started with the fiori di zucca fritti and a sample of olive oil toasts. I had the Sagne Nnannulate with the tomato sauce with horse meat, lovely balance of richness and savory tomato flavor. My wife enjoyed the Ciceri e tria pasta, also wonderful. We paired it with a nice rose wine. Where I felt bothered was how we were treated. This is my 10th trip to Italy, so I know the customs and embrace them fully. I am not fluent but speak Italian decently for a tourist. We were dressed as well as anyone who showed up. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened at 8pm. There was a large tour group eating inside. However we were told we could only eat outside. OK, I understand it's Saturday night maybe there were many reservations so we took seats outside. But it was evident that we were not welcome for whatever reason. We could tell from the conversations as people rang the bell to enter, half of the people who arrived afterwards didn't have reservations. I speak well enough to understand the language of the restaurant. YET NO ONE ELSE WAS MADE TO SIT OUTSIDE. Each time the door opened, we hear people inside enjoying themselves and we were alone outside. While food service was OK, in my many visits to Italy this was the first time I was made to feel like a stranger. Made more apparent every time the front door closed. To reiterate, the food is wonderful. The inside atmosphere and decor, from what we could see through the windows like beggars, is charming. We just didn't feel welcome. We skipped dessert downed a coffee, paid and left. We felt welcome in Bari for 3 nights but Lecce was not welcoming this night. Dumb luck I guess.

16/06/2025: We took part in the tour of the magnificent olive grove with a visit to the oil mills and oil tasting. Highly recommended experience in a wonderful and well-kept masseria. All the experience and love for the territory and the centuries-old olive trees shines through. Top products.

17/05/2025: Siamo stati alla masseria per visitare il frantoio, acquistare olio ed mangiare a pranzo un lunedi sul cammino di ritorno di un viaggio in Puglia. 1) visita in coppia, in lingua italiana, della masseria e frantoio : esageratamente caro per il tempo di una mezz ora. Prova di olio senza niente (pane....), il tutto per 20€ a persona. Vergognoso! 2) Dopo avere comprato olio spedito da un spedizionere, ho dovuto richiamare per solecitare la spedizione. Il pacco stranamente partiva il giorno della mia telefonata di rilancio. Strano! L'olio è arrivato e confermo è buonissimo. 3) Aggiungo, abbiamo mangiato benissimo a pranzo. Cucina inventiva, bravo il cuoco!

05/10/2025: WONDERFUL experience!! Fantastic lunch with my family... Beautiful location. A farmhouse with a super welcoming owner, Angela. She seems like an old friend. She welcomes you, spends time with you at the table, and the food is top-quality! YOU WILL BE PAMPERED, PLENTY OF DISHES Fair prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

22/09/2025: Excellent location, the food is good, it's a shame that the road to get there is very narrow and once you enter the parking lot there are 2 large, very high speed bumps, I crashed into one of the 2, if you have low sports cars I doubt you can pass without hitting them, for the rest I had a good time and I ate well especially the orecchiette, me or choice of typical products for the second courses in my opinion.

06/09/2025: A grill restaurant with an open butcher's counter. Top-quality ingredients; the Black Angus steak and meatballs in tomato sauce were succulent. They also offer a pizzeria and takeout service with a wide-ranging menu. Attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended.

05/09/2025: Clean and welcoming place... As soon as we entered, a young man welcomed us and, seeing my poodle arrive, he already went out of his way to give my dog ​​water without me saying anything. This place already deserves 5 stars... We had some delicious cuts of meat, you can also find the butcher shop on display inside. I had a very good pizza, the pistachio and melon liqueurs on the house were excellent... Mattia, the young man who welcomed us, was full of attention to the entire service from start to finish... To conclude, he gave balloons to my children, a small gesture but for my children it was super. Thanks again Mattia, number one...

First with my family and then with my group of 20 friends, I've been here (friends at my request). The welcome was warm and friendly, the service excellent, efficient, and organized, the cuisine, the appetizers above average and very balanced between flavor, innovation, quality, and abundance, the Assassina pizza was amazing, perfect in texture, tomato-to-moisture ratio, saltiness and spiciness (my friends were very happy), the pizza, what can I say? Light, crispy, and very, very digestible. In short, PERFECT!!! Delicious desserts, very nice and delicious bitters, overall 10/10. Keep it up!!! And above all, we'll see each other soon. 09/11/2025: I had dinner last night with friends, which was unfortunately disappointing. The pizza was completely raw, and the colt cut looked like boiled meat, so the meat was stringy. The place was moderately sized and too crowded, making it very noisy and difficult to communicate at the table. I also found the bill to be excessive: 13.00 for a pizza.
