13/09/2025: I ordered a cake using the photo as a reference (a very simple cake with just cream and a text in the center). When I ordered, they assured me it would be easy to make the same one. Well, the color of the text was also different from the one in the photo (and the size, too, since it was written in tiny letters and in the photo, the text filled the cake). A terrible experience. Totally not recommended.

07/09/2025: Breakfast this morning. Pasticiotto, served lukewarm, good but not as sensational as advertised. Coffee....shall we talk about it? The machine was turned on without the ritual cleaning by running clean water. So, the coffee cost €1.30, plus the leftovers from the previous brew.

27/07/2025: Classic bar. The young waitress is super nice. Good coffee at €1.10. Unfortunately, the toilet flush was broken.

08/09/2025: Great hotels in the center of Florence. All world charm all around. The hotel is a true 5 star hotel. Service is impecable. Kudos to Sarah at the front desk and all the staff at breakfast. Florence was a memorable experience and this hotel was part of it.

11/09/2025: We stumbled upon this bistro by chance and had a pretty good meal: The frise were spectacular (I recommend the one with eggplant, cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes). The orecchiette with tomato and burrata were neither good nor bad. The price is average, but if you have to go, stock up on their appetizers.

10/09/2025: It was okay. Unfortunately, nothing more. The food was okay. The wine was okay. Some of the staff were friendly, some not so much. All in all, just okay.

03/10/2025: Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants in this area. Paulo, the chef and owner, along with his lovely wife make you feel so welcome. From the appetizers to the 1st and 2nd course where truly outstanding. All food is with traditional Apulian basics with added flare. We could not believe how reasonable the prices were. When traveling in this area again, I will make a special effort to have dinner at il Cortiletto.

24/09/2025: I was there on Monday 22nd September to celebrate my birthday. The owner Mr. Paolo was kind and the waiting time was right and he surprised us with a fabulous menu. We are ready to return and I recommend it to everyone.

We had several guests with various intolerances and allergies, and they received truly impeccable treatment. We are happy to recommend this wonderful place to anyone planning a wedding... An extraordinary location with meticulous attention to detail, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, from Giovanna, who welcomed us on our first day, to the cleaning lady, and Franco, the restaurant manager, who was truly a friend and a special person throughout... 11/10/2025: This was an odd experience. Most importantly, the food is delicious, wonderful in fact. Exactly what I wanted - a taste of Lecce. We started with the fiori di zucca fritti and a sample of olive oil toasts. I had the Sagne Nnannulate with the tomato sauce with horse meat, lovely balance of richness and savory tomato flavor. My wife enjoyed the Ciceri e tria pasta, also wonderful. We paired it with a nice rose wine. Where I felt bothered was how we were treated. This is my 10th trip to Italy, so I know the customs and embrace them fully. I am not fluent but speak Italian decently for a tourist. We were dressed as well as anyone who showed up. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened at 8pm. There was a large tour group eating inside. However we were told we could only eat outside. OK, I understand it's Saturday night maybe there were many reservations so we took seats outside. But it was evident that we were not welcome for whatever reason. We could tell from the conversations as people rang the bell to enter, half of the people who arrived afterwards didn't have reservations. I speak well enough to understand the language of the restaurant. YET NO ONE ELSE WAS MADE TO SIT OUTSIDE. Each time the door opened, we hear people inside enjoying themselves and we were alone outside. While food service was OK, in my many visits to Italy this was the first time I was made to feel like a stranger. Made more apparent every time the front door closed. To reiterate, the food is wonderful. The inside atmosphere and decor, from what we could see through the windows like beggars, is charming. We just didn't feel welcome. We skipped dessert downed a coffee, paid and left. We felt welcome in Bari for 3 nights but Lecce was not welcoming this night. Dumb luck I guess.

06/09/2025: Excellent gluten-free products, both sweet and savory (bread and focaccia), at more than fair prices for the quality! Highly recommended if you're in the area and looking for fresh gluten-free products.

05/09/2025: Best bakery that there is for celiac people like myself! I find myself going here almost weekly! They have delicious bread, cornetto, pasticiotto, cookies, panini, pizza, you name it!

05/10/2025: WONDERFUL experience!! Fantastic lunch with my family... Beautiful location. A farmhouse with a super welcoming owner, Angela. She seems like an old friend. She welcomes you, spends time with you at the table, and the food is top-quality! YOU WILL BE PAMPERED, PLENTY OF DISHES Fair prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

22/09/2025: Excellent location, the food is good, it's a shame that the road to get there is very narrow and once you enter the parking lot there are 2 large, very high speed bumps, I crashed into one of the 2, if you have low sports cars I doubt you can pass without hitting them, for the rest I had a good time and I ate well especially the orecchiette, me or choice of typical products for the second courses in my opinion.
