31/12/2025: The atmosphere is charming, thanks to Lele and his staff. A window onto the sea, everything beautiful and delicious! The wines are of a certain "medium-high" quality, highly recommended.

07/10/2025: Fresh and creative Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. The sea bream carpaccio was very fresh, and the fish and olive oil were perfectly matched. The tortellini with cod and bacon was simply outstanding. An extensive wine list with bottled wines rounds out the offerings. We had a 2005 Pouilly Fume for €47 a bottle; a very good choice! The focaccia and bread were also very aromatic and crispy! A truly worthwhile highlight for this somewhat unusual setting.

09/05/2026: First time here, the food is very high quality, you can taste it with every bite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Authentic Japanese cuisine, in addition to the open sushi, is a very refined and elegant place! I absolutely recommend it for a pleasant evening ❤️

10/03/2026: Good morning. Today, for my birthday, I wanted to celebrate with my partner at the La Gioia bar on Via Dante. I'll start by saying that the place isn't huge, but it's very welcoming, and the staff is very polite and dedicated to their work. We had the white lasagna with mushrooms, which was very delicate and not at all heavy. The rustici platter was plentiful and well-filled. To finish, we had zeppole and cookies filled with various creams. And then the spritz...what can I say? I've never had a spritz this good, made exactly how I like it...and best of all, it didn't float in ice!

10/03/2026: Aperitivo number 1. I haven't enjoyed such a good Aperol Spritz in years. Most bars in Taranto, and even other cities, water it down with lots of ice, and the Aperol is barely noticeable. The bartender, Angelo, knows how to measure the ingredients beautifully, and serves up an exceptional Aperol Spritz! The white mushroom lasagna was so good I asked for seconds. The rest of the platter was excellent. We finished with desserts prepared by the owner, from zeppiline to biscotti with pistachio and hazelnut cream. The price was even too fair. We'll definitely be back!

24/09/2025: Very good beer, decent focaccia, and a friendly atmosphere that could be improved. It's okay for a quick aperitif... but the price is a bit high for two small slices of focaccia and two take-out beers. They could do better.

03/05/2026: I'll be a dissenting voice. I'm only sorry for the waiters, who were so kind. A table was booked for two. We arrived on time. The place had been recommended to me by a friend, a regular customer. I trusted her. At the entrance, we were greeted warmly by the kind and attentive staff. Other customers came in after us. Meanwhile, we were served zucchini flowers with mozzarella and anchovies: delicious but full of frying oil. We waited for the first course (baked in a macaroni oven, rather dry), but in the meantime we noticed that the one we'd ordered had been served to those who arrived later. We didn't say anything. We waited some more, but we started joking among ourselves, thinking they'd gone to harvest wheat to make the flour for orecchiette. It was crowded, it was our first time eating here, so we decided to wait. At a certain point, the owner came over to apologize for the delay in service (and this made me think there had actually been an exchange of orders with the table of those who arrived later). My companion smiles and raises his hands (as if to say, "Are we going to make it?"). It was meant to be a gesture of amusement at the mix-up, but the owner was clearly a little nervous, because, in a loud voice, audible to everyone, he began cursing at him, as if he'd made an aggressive complaint, which wasn't the case at all. At which point I suggested he tone it down—after all, nothing had been said and my companion's facial expressions hadn't been offensive at all. I told the owner there was no need for drama, since his monologue had attracted the attention of everyone at the table, who were staring at us. Then he began to apologize repeatedly in a low voice, and I told him that maybe it was time to call it a day. I was feeling less hungry, but we decided to stay. We also ate a roast, then got up to leave. I go to pay and am presented with the bill, which is quite high, but I knew from the start it wouldn't be cheap, so I expected it. We weren't asked if we'd like anything else, we weren't offered coffee or a liqueur (as often happens in other restaurants), but it wasn't due, and there was no rounding up for the unsolicited scolding. In fact, I correct myself, the scolding was complimentary on the house. I would have preferred not to. If needed, I can post photos of the receipt to prove the veracity of what I wrote. We will never return.

31/05/2026: A pleasant place with good service, however, if you are cocktail lovers by definition this place is not a "speakeasy" and the cocktails we had seemed quite weak.

20/05/2026: Tiny place with a lot of character, delicious drinks and super friendly staff who were attentive and even remembered the drinks we ordered on our first visit even days later!

02/02/2026: The best restaurant in Rodi Gargano The mussel and octopus appetizers were excellent, and the pizzas were great too. Located in an old mansion with grand archways inside and out. The prices are quite reasonable. I especially appreciated the service from the waitresses.

26/04/2026: On April 24, 2026, I celebrated our wedding. A fairytale location surrounded by great professionalism, courtesy, kindness, politeness, availability, and reliability make the owner Enzo Zuccaro an excellent person and a wonderful structure. A structure welcomed by greenery with fabulous lawns and fantastic pools. Excellent food service, attention to the smallest details by a highly professional chef. Mr. Antonello, a person of extreme professionalism, along with his staff of professional, kind and courteous waiters. The lunch was enjoyed by all the guests for its quality, quantity, and refinement, from the welcome cocktail to the appetizers, first courses, second courses, and the grand buffet of fruit and desserts. The location, from the kitchen to the clean and fragrant rooms, was clean. The newlyweds Gianni and Tiziana Iaia thank the Parco dei Pini reception hall restaurant with deep gratitude, esteem, and great affection.

07/06/2026: We booked a table at 9:00 PM, and ordered chips for 9:20 PM. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time and were okay, nothing exceptional, unfortunately, the only positive note of the evening. From what I could see, the service was divided among the various waiters as follows: one person was assigned exclusively to take orders, while the others were in charge of serving the dining room, thus serving drinks and refreshments. Unfortunately, nothing worked. We were ready to order at 9:40 PM, but the only person assigned to take orders was rarely seen among the tables, and ordering was quite difficult. After getting up from my table twice to try to get attention, we finally managed to order at around 10:10 PM. Aside from their awkwardness, the waiters were far too familiar, and one of them was clearly upset. Besides the long wait to place the order, the wait for the pizzas was also very long. They arrived around 11:10 PM, and to make matters worse, some of them were wrong. The pizza wasn't bad, but after all that wait, I expected the best pizza I've ever had. If the experience had been terrible up until that point, it only got worse in the minutes that followed. When I asked for the bill, the clearly upset waiter hugged me as if I were his oldest friend and suggested I simply wave my hands to ask for the check, thus preventing him from approaching the table. He then ended by saying he was joking. I think that was the worst moment of the entire evening. When the bill arrived, we started to pay the bill, and when I made a joke about a friend, the waitress in charge of taking orders intervened, responding to my joke and demanding that we pay quickly. I didn't want to make a fuss, because it was already late and I was with friends, and I'm not the type, but I think it was the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life, as confirmed by my friends and other people sitting at the tables next to me, so our experience clearly reflects the common experience at this place. I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

02/06/2026: Disappointing. Some dishes, such as potato croquettes, grilled vegetables, and meatballs in tomato sauce, were okay, but the mixed antipasto was truly bland and the baked potatoes were very poor. The staff was very friendly.
